This is an outstanding high end TV for movies, sports, and gaming. Top rated for picture quality, brightness, color accuracy, and features from online reviewers and testing sites. Absolutely a must as prices have come down in early 2023. Dolby Vision brings movies to life with amazing colors and dynamic brightness. I usually just leave it in DV Bright setting as I love bright and vivid colors. For more accuracy other people recommend DV Dark, but I disagree as it mutes the benefit of QD OLEDs in the first place. QD OLEDs are brighter than OLEDs. The color accuracy is phenomenal. This is the first TV I’ve ever owned were I haven’t needed to adjust color settings. It’s that good out of the box. I particularly like the backlit remote control that illuminates the buttons when it senses motion. The remote feels solid, with good texture, and easy to use layout. This is a great remote guys, trust me! I also appreciate the improved eARC experience with my Sony 1080 (7 channel) Home Theatre. My previous tv didn’t communicate well with the receiver, often forcing me to find the other remote to mess with inputs, volume, menu settings to get the sound to work. Now the receiver just works the way it should, it’s seamless and sounds better too. I no longer need the original receiver remote, it’s in the drawer now. Drawbacks: This tv is still on the pricer end of the spectrum, so make sure to jump on deals when they are available. No HDR10+ support. For the price Sony should have added support for this format just in case some content isn’t available in DV. Gaming input delay could be better. Currently Samsung and LG TVs are faster. The TV stand is heavy, bulky, and ugly. Please just mount this tv on the wall.

Best Picture & Clearly Best built-in Sound of 2022

I do pro video editing for clients which requires calibrating my computer monitors to meet pro color grading standards. IMO the Sony A95K provides the best red color spectrum representation I have seen on a large (65") 4K TV. I feel the deep rich reds really pop like no other TV I've seen or tested. It's hard to explain, but movies & documentaries shot in natural settings make you feel more like you are there... The built-in sound is exceptional & great for those not wanting to add the clutter of an addiional sound bar, etc. Therefore this TV is great for a living room installation and/or you can always add a premium sound system later... And, if you subract the cost of a sound system, the price is closer to an LG/Samsung & (required) sound bar combo... I used the genuine Sony SUWL855 Ultra Slim Wall Mount to mount it onto a brick fireplace, above an oak mantel, so that no wires are visible. I used recessed electrical, HDMI, CAT8, etc. recepticles & this mount allows me to push the TV all the way back so that it nearly touches the brick. However, I can still pull it out & tilt it side/side to access the wiring. I actually have a Roku Elite hidden in the mantel - needed because Sony does not have an App for Spectrum, one of my few complaints... Regarding the OS that Sony uses, Android TV / Google, I like it better than the older versions of LG OS & Samsung's OS on my previous TVs, but IMO they need to provide the ability to sideload more Apps so I do not need a Roku or other box to access all of my streaming services.

I was concerned about downgrading from a 75” quantum dot led, but the processing and color on this screen are amazing, the software is decent and I’ve even tried Bravia Core. The only negative is a limited number of hdmi 2.1 ports, and having to CHOOSE BETWEEN DOLBY VISION OR VRR MANUALLY. One of the 2.1 ports is tied up by arc to the reciever which means that has to be on dolby vision of streaming boxes, now game systems have to be plugged in directly to the tv. Simple? No. If you have both xbox and ps5 only one can plug in to the only other port that can do vrr. Since its a Sony tv it means the ps5 gets to go to the tv and the Xbox is plugged into the receiver. So no vrr for the xbox. Even with this minor? Problem i still love it, and if all the hdmi ports were 2.1 it would be 6 stars.

I have owned my Sony 65-inch XR-A95K OLED TV for a month or so now and absolutely love it. I am replacing my 9-year-old Samsung LCD. The technology has made huge leaps over this time period with OLED black levels and viewing angles being just a few. The picture was great right out of the box. Most reviews suggest that the Custom picture settings are the most accurate for viewing. I agree! Online I found some calibration settings which were also helpful. The TV has a great picture, a sleek design, a very functional remote control, and useful smart TV apps. I love the new TV. It is the best TV I have owned!

I read the initial reviews of this television last November (2022) and visited Best Buy to see it in person and was impressed. I stalked it until I finally pulled the trigger March 2023 and I have not been disappointed. The colors pop, the interface is straight forward, and I can understand why this was considered probably the best television 2022. I won't waste your time trying to talk you into why you should purchase this TV. If the price doesn't scare you and you're considering it then just click add to cart and purchase. You won't regret it. I have not tried the built in sound as I purchased the Sonos Arc to handle those duties since I love big sound. But reviews for the built in sound indicates that it is decent. However, I don't remember the last time I've used a televisions built in sound.

Excellent TV. Beautiful picture. Excellent color and black and white picture. Ideal with 4K broadcast, but not bad for non-4K broadcast as well. Ver nice bright screen. Well made frame. Sound system is pretty good as well.

… I’m by no means well versed on the technical aspects of home theater but I do have eyeballs and ears… this TV is the absolute best I have ever owned on all levels… installation, set-up, and use are EZPZ… the image quality is second to none, bright bold colors, amazing definition, and the sound is incredible… I have the Bose 700 bar, sub, and rear and the TV has elevated the sound to theater quality… it maybe be pricey but this is an investment for pure joy… and that’s exactly what this Sony television delivers… no go get one… go…

As a mid-life person I've see every manner of television from b&w on up. I don't think I've ever been surprised by a new TV technology as much as the Sony Bravia, even prior 4k televisions failed to wow me. Buying this 65" TV was like getting the very first iPhone every created; it changed everything! The picture quality is unbelieveable; even the sound is unexpectedly good; its truly a Marvel. If you are serious about your TV viewing the only thing you will have an issue with here is finding content that will actually show you how wonderously powerful this display's appearance truly is. Its absoluetly stunning!!

The Sony Master Series A95K is the best looking TV on the market outside of the latest L version. There was an opportunity to jump into QD-OLED and this tech does not disappoint. Stunning color and picture reproduction from games, movies to regular ol' TV. Beautifully designed also, you're getting the total package in one elegant set.

After much research I decided on this TV as the center of my entertainment system. This TV offers a superb picture the colors and details are the best I’ve seen. The only caveat is the source of the picture is key, broadcast TV ( Dish Network) is poor compared to internet like Netflix ect which offer a rewarding experience.

I've tried the LG C2 and LG G2, and ended up with the A95K, which is by far the best tv decision ive ever made. I'm so amazed at the picture quality, I find myself rewatching tv shows and movies as if im watching them for the first time; the experience is just that different. Also, thanks to best buy fairfield manager who recommended this tv as well as associate Kaaliyah who helped process the order.

The quality of the Sony A95K is incredible! I chose this TV to replace a Samsung TV I purchased in 2014 as a black-Friday sale. The major improvement in picture quality is phenomenal - I had no idea what I was missing out on. Seeing HDR and Dolby Vision content on this TV is an absolute treat. I have yet to identify any faults with the A95K - everything from the build quality to the picture quality is perfection. I'm also a fan of the built-in 'center speaker' option/connection. The A95K has replaced my prior center speaker in my 5.1.2 audio setup. After a quick audio-calibration, it blends in with the other speakers seamlessly. I'm sure that not everyone will use this feature, but I find it very useful and am very happy Sony included it! I love the look with the stand placed behind the TV (called front position style). This position helps facilitate a minimalist design - now I just need to retire the PSVR and Wii U so that I can get rid of the camera and sensor bar currently placed above the TV. Overall, I couldn't be any happier than I am with the Sony A95K! I can tell this will be a TV that I will enjoy for a very long time.

Hi Brian, That's great! We're glad to hear that! The MASTER Series BRAVIA XR A95K OLED TV features the latest QD-OLED panel and XR Triluminos Max technology giving this TV our brightest and widest range of OLED colors ever. Combined with OLED’s pure black levels thanks to self-illuminating pixels, the A95K boasts a beautiful display of colors with equally impressive contrast. Thank you for giving the product a perfect rating! Jay Sony_US
