I didn't have a bad TV before purchasing this TV, but even so, they are leagues apart. This TV is a must for anyone who is excited that 4K HDR movies and gaming are finally maturing a bit!

My TV died and I had to do some research on a new one. Many different sources recommended the Sony... All I can say is I'm glad I listened. The picture is great.. Smart options work smoothly. Take the time to learn all the menu options... It was helpful. There are a lot that kind of get lost in the shuffle of things. Great purchase. Save some cash and go with the 55" if you don't really need the 65". I have the 65 in a smaller room and it's like being in a theater... We enjoy it but I could have stayed with the 55...but it is awesome!

Our house took an indirect lightning strike and it blew out our 2 3D TVs. We did some research and found out we could not get 3D TVs anymore so we started researching TVs on-line. Like a lot of people we research on-line and then go to the local store to see the product and see how it performs. We looked at and tested so many I can;t remember, but this TV was the best of what we wanted. We were so impressed we bought two of them to replace our damaged 3D TVs. Our previous TVs were a 65" Sony and a 55" Samsung. The staff at Best Buy was so helpful that we bought them on the spot and quit looking. They were easy to install (both are wall mounted) and they work great.

The best of the rest if you are looking for a great natural picture and 4k HDR you found it in this fantastic tv it is all it is advertised to be you will not regret this purchase ever.

Believe everything you've read about this TV. The colors are gorgeous, and the HDR is amazing paired with an Xbox One S or X. The only downside I see on this TV has to do with the lagginess when it comes to the Android OS or settings menu's. It's not too much of a problem, but distracting on a TV that is incredible otherwise

Purchased this TV to replace a horrible LG LED 4K. Best decision I could of made. Great reviews on the internet and was recommended by the Best Buy associate who told me that he had one. Blacks are good considering it isn't OLED. Sound is good. Video just needed a little tweaking but not to much to get the colors pretty close to accurate. Android OS is neat but tends to slow the TV down a little. Would definitely recommend this TV.

The picture on this tv is amazing. Just as good as the lg OLED. I would even go farther to say better. Brightest picture I’ve seen and great black levels. 5 stars Best tv on market

This tv has it all.Great picture, great sound, and great looks.It was very easy to set up. And with the hdmi arc feature my dish remote runs everything. I would recommend this tv.

Great smart TV, set up was easy no problems learning the controls, runs app's flawless,hooked right up to the internet, and has a great picture hooked to simple digital antennae

The picture on this 4K display is amazing. I read reviews before I bought it. It's a great buy and got it at a great price. Mounted it on my living room wall. Looks flawless!!!

Like many others, I did a ridiculous amount of research before buying this one, to make sure I was making a good decision, and getting the most bang for my buck. I won't rehash the same technical details you can find in other reviews, but will mention some of the good and bad I have noticed. One of the things that Sony always does well, is the amount of tweaking you can do, if you like to fiddle with settings. You can change a ton of different things to get the image like you want it. The black levels are very good on this set, compared to my old one, with some noticeable halo on very high contrast images. In other words, if the screen is all black, with the exception of a bright white image somewhere on screen, you will see the backlight creating a silhouetted halo around the white image slightly. This is due to the way the back light works on this model. It can be adjusted so you don't notice it much though, and allow you to achieve a very good contrast without seeing the problem very much. Not as nice as an OLED or plasma, but much much better than the average edge lit units I have used. Some don't like the Android system, but I find it the best of the smart TV interfaces I have played with. None of them are great, but on this model, it is quick and responsive for me. Picture quality is the best I have seen as this price point, no doubt. I know people who say, for that price I can get an 80", and I say, true, but you will have a large screen with a garbage image. Don't sacrifice image quality for size folks.

This tv is great for all sources...gaming, cable, dvd, streaming, etc. Easy setup,incredible picture quality. Always stick with the XBR series for Sony TVs....cant go wrong

I've only had this TV for about a month, but I have lovedit so far. The picture quality is great even in a bright room. And it displays 4k HDR from my Xbox one X brilliantly.

I went about a week watching this TV before buying it. Did lots of research, until finally bought it. I must say it is fantastic no regrets just a very good tv, ease to set up.

Best picture. As close to QLED or OLED as you can get for the price. Crystal clear. Shopped for a week and so happy to have landed on this one. Even saved money on a price match! Only complaint is that it does take on a minor glare if the sun hits it just right. Which is rare though. Easy to use smart tv aspect.

Super clean. Picture is great the sound is wonderful through my Bose surround sound system. It’s extremely bright and vivid even when you’re watching something that’s not 4K.

Moving up from a 60" 1080p Sony LCD to a 65" 4K LCD is a big improvement in picture quality. This is our third Sony 60"+ LCD and they've always performed beautifully over years of use and without any service issues. This Sony 900e may be the best performing 4K set at its price point. Let you eyes be your judge, but to mine, other than moving up to a much more expensive OLED, there were no other TVs that offered equivalent picture quality (color depth, motion processing, detail, etc.) at the same price point, and I looked at all of the leading contenders. If you have a 4K up-scaling Blu-ray player, your standard 480p and 1080p movies can be up-scaled to 4K, which breathes new life into these movies. Depending on which 4K player you have, the 1080p Blu-ray up-scaling looks nearly as good as a native 4K disc. My only criticisms of the 900e include how slowly the tv responds to remote commands and the need to adjust the settings for each input separately, though this can be an advantage when using input sources of varying quality.

This tv has superb picture quality, color is just right, not over saturated just like other tv brands. Interface is smooth and responsive. You cannot go wrong with this.

I choose this tv from all the reviews online. Not just from best buy, but all the review web site's. They are all correct . Hands down the best picture ive seen on a tv in a long time. It is so good i am returning this and picking up its big brother, 75 inch 900e. I was hesitant at first to drop that kind of money ,but seeing this in person i feel it will be worth every penny. I am 15 feet away from the tv and upgrading from a 60 inch. Looking foward to a whole new tv watching experience!!

Decided to go big. Love the sharpness of the picture and the vibrant color. We paired it with the $199 Sony sound bar. Our family room sounds as good as a home theater.
