This tv has the most amazing picture. The black pixels really make the picture jump off the screen.
The speakers included with the set are not good. The sound through the TV was not the reason why I bought this set. Also the included tilted stand is wired. I am going to wall mount it soon because the angle is weird.
If you want an amazing picture on a tv- this is it!

I have had many TV's over the years. Plasma, LED, curved, 3D, UHD and so on. This is the best TV you can put in your home. The colors are crisp and so far, after 7 months, it is running like new. The blacks are black and whites, white. The best way to watch Amazon Prime 4kHD movies. Not a lot of other programs are in HD yet, so if you do not have a BLU RAY or Prime, might not be worth the money. For me, it is worth every penny.

My reference point was my Pioneer Kuro Plasma. I hesitated on OLED for a LONG time because I wasn't certain that it would really improve on what plasma gave me. Whites, blacks, detail easily surpass the plasma. The upscaling on 720p/1080i (I primarily watch OTA) is excellent. Many reviews said "cinema pro" was the best picture setting. My wife and I both think it is too dark. "Standard" works just fine. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this to replace an older Pioneer Elite Plasma, wich was close to the price of this unit years ago. Compared the LG OLED & Sony, OLED. There is a clear difference between the 2. Sony picture much better. The operating system is very responsive, as well. Although the price is a little higher than the LG, you get what you pay for. Would buy another for another room in the house when the time comes.

The Sony oled picture is sharper and the colors are brighter than other tvs we looked at. The picture has some depth the characters really stand out from the background.

This TV has a near perfect picture. The best I could find. The sound is not great, but in this class I would assume most buyers would have a sound bar or speaker system.

We've been talking about getting a big TV for a few years. This one was well worth the wait.
Sony - 65" Class (64.5" Diag.) - OLED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV
The picture is beyond anything I had ever seen. The colors are sharp, clear and beautiful. And the detail is amazing. If I could afford it I would buy these for all my family so they can enjoy the detail and beauty we've got in ours.

I have another 65 inch OLED from a different company (which cannot be named per review guidelines). When trying to decide between getting a second OLED TV made by the other company versus going with the Sony, I spoke with a high end electronics retailer and installation company in the area, and they recommended the Sony over the other company due to the high quality of the video processor. Don't get me wrong, the other company's OLED has a great picture, but when comparing the two, I have to say that the Sony's picture is better. The Sony also has more apps than the other company such as HBO GO and Showtime Anytime, which are unavailable on the other company's TV, in the event that you prefer to use those app-based services over using on-demand. I also prefer the menu/user interface of the Sony. It is very user friendly. The remote is also nice as it has a quick access Netflix button. The appearance of this TV is very sleek. In regard to sound, I briefly relied on the built-in speaker prior to wall mounting the TV along with a Sonos PLAYBAR (used in conjunction with two Sonos PLAY:5s, and a Sonos SUB), so I cannot comment extensively on the quality of the sound. However, it seemed pretty decent for a built-in speaker. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this TV, especially since it currently on sale; and, the word is that there won't be significant upgrades to next year's model.

Sony invented this technology and although LG has been the sole manufacturer of these displays until now, Sony has superior color and contrast management. Side by side no contest. Bravia A1E bested the LG equivalent. The absence of a bezel also gives the illusion of a projection screen with minimal reflectivity. Once properly set up, this is the best picture that I have seen on a UHD display.

Sony's first consumer OLED is amazing. The design is so beautiful and elegant, especially if you leave on the kickstand. Picture quality .. best tv I've ever owned. Perfect blacks, and surprisingly good brights.

Tv has a great picture/color, and the speakers are built in the actual display and sound great. but we were looking for a 75 inch display and the Sony's 77 inch was way too expensive. Wish they would come down in price. We ended up exchanging this tv for a 75 inch Samsung Qled and thought we would regret the switch but the Samsung was just as awesome with a larger screen and to us... my wife and I, brighter colors. The so called blacks were pretty much just as black in our opinion.

Love my new TV. Best picture out there. The LG OLEDs come close, but Sony's processing takes this TV to the next level. The colors look more natural than LG, which is what I prefer. Its an OLED so the black levels are amazing. I knew I was getting a great picture, but was surprised with how well it sounded. Overall excellent TV and worth the price.

I did a lot of research and looked at alternatives for a long time before parting with the serious amount of cash this TV costs, but I am very glad I went with the Sony OLED 65. The images are so crisp, the colors bright, high contrast, and on and on. I have read articles claiming that professionals cannot see the difference between the LG and Sony OLED picture quality, and yes the Sony costs more money. I know LG makes the screens for Sony (and anyone else). But in the stores (and I visited several) the Sony just seemed like it had better color rendition. I have bought Sonys for years and have never been disappointed, so maybe I am biased. Maybe the only difference is in the software that controls the screen and color and brightness, etc., but whatever it is, I really thought the Sony was superb. I do not expect to replace this TV for a long time, and while stuff can happen, my experience with Sony says it will perform for a long time. My system is massive overkill for game shows and the 6pm News, but for movies and HiDef sports, this systrem is amazing and the Sony is now the centerpiece. I cannot wait to see more and more 4K content on DirectTV, and I am now set to take advantage of this. I do recommend this Sony OLED TV to anyone who will listen.
