Well all I can say is I have seen thousands of tv’s as I have been a cable tech for 14 years and I will tell you this is a great tv. Some will say that the Android system that Sony and others use is sluggish and jittery but my top of the line iPhone also is jittery at times. So the bottom line is the new android system is not that bad. As far as the rest of the tv I’m impressed with the sound quality of this set. The 900f seems to have very small speakers but even at half volume it is very loud and clear I was watching planet earth 2 in 4K and the sound sounded like it was coming out of my home theater system. Ok now for the picture, the picture is stunning, it is what you would want in a regular tv for all types of viewing. It is very bright and can clearly be seen even when the sun is coming in through the windows. Try doing that with a OLED. I had the money to buy pretty much any tv in the 65 inch range and I choose this one for the same reasons I’m explaining. The HDR picture is stunning the SD picture is great football doesn’t get that soap opera effect. You just need to set it up tweek the settings and have the right source material. Don’t expect flawless picture from a subpar source. This tv will not look as good right next to the fancy OLED at Best Buy but if you get it home and set it up right it will definitely keep up with the OLED’s and cost way less and last longer Oh Ya and it won’t have the BURN IN PROBLEMS. Over all awesome tv for a great price almost as good as the best with less problems and way less in price. Best Led on the market. Enjoy

I recently picked up a 65" X900F for my family room and can honestly say its the best midrange LED that you can buy right now. I was looking to purchase a 65" or 75" Z9D over this model because the additional local dimming zones but ended up catching a great deal on the 900F. I have 2 OLEDs and this is certainly not at that level but it does have inky blacks and goes very bright to help when the sun is out. I've watched Venom (HDR) and few other darker movies in HDR to test it and I can say that I am thoroughly happy with it. I am not a fan of Samsung's QLEDs so Sony (900F, Z9D/F) was the only alternative for me. I did not want an OLED in the family room due to the burn-in risk. My only complaint lies with blooming with some screens but movies/black bars appear dark without light bleed.
Picture was taken directly after setup before any wires were hidden etc.

It took me a little while but I’ve really came around on this TV. I upgraded from a 55” insignia HD and this was my first 4K set. I liked it better than other LED’s I looked at in the store. Not quite OLED but pretty nice for the money. Online reviews said that this TV up scaled better than other TV’s in the price range. Color is great on this set. I did have to tweak the settings for several days until I got what I wanted. I even considered returning it but glad I didn’t now. With 4K signal or a good quality HD source this TV looks really good.

I had always been a Samsung perosn and I did purchase a Samsung open box. I did talk with the TV guy and he had let me know that Sony has about 1300 brightness and the samsung maybe had 900. I do see a huge difference and glad he recommended that. The only thing I hate is the speakers are junk in TV's now a days and I did end up buying a sound bar. The volume kept oging out on it and making popping noises, not too many sound bars with the new tvs that work good. I did end up spending $600 on a soundbar that the Sony can detect. It works awesome and lots of bass when needed. Great for the TV stand I have since I don't like to have a TV mounted that just looks pretty lame or having to stare up makes no sense. Great buy even though little pricey but its worth the investment!

Only flaw is it is picky on putting on Soundbars. I guess didnt really know the Ultra HD 4K ones are like that, but I did get the Sony Soundbar and that works awesome. I dont really watch Bluray or 4K stuff, but it is an awesome quality. I was always a Samsung person and stuck to that, and I did buy that and returend it and a sales person talked me into this one instead. There are more bright pixels and bulbs about 40 more and much difference and better quality than the Samsung. I wasnt going to spend 3500-5000 on a TV, thats just crazy, but this on sale was an awesome price and well worth it. Don't just go by price, quality and performance is key and matches up to the $3000 TV

This Sony replaced an older Sony xbr49x800d tv. The 49” has given me zero issues. I moved into a new home and hung the 49” on the wall above the fireplace and my wife says to me “eh it’s very underwhelming, I guess you can go get the larger tv that you’ve been wanting”. So I did what any guy would do once given the ok to buy a new tv. I jumped on the Best Buy app and purchased a xbr65x900f. With a Sanus BLT2-B1 wall mount the Sony 65” looks great hanging on my living room wall. The color on the xbr65x900f is fantastic and the refresh rate is very good. I can’t say much about the internal speakers, as I use a 7.1 Sony receiver with Klipsch speakers. With the whole system, I’d much rather watch movies at home, than in a theater. The apps provided on the Sony are plentiful and the addition of the Disney+ app is a nice bonus, The Mandalorian looks great on the 65” Sony. You may want to tweak a few settings for your personal preference, but those are easy enough to do from the settings screen. to sum it up it’s a really good 65” flat panel led tv.

At first, I wanted a Samsung because I have had one for 6 years and before that a DLP by samsung. They had done me well, but when I brought home my 55 q6 it had a dead pixel in the corner out of the box, so then I decided to return it and upgrade. I got the 65 q7 and it had even more dead pixels in a corner. I finally said, no more trying samsung. It's such a pain in the butt to set up and re box and return a 55 or especially a 65 in tv. I decided to get the Sony X900F 65in for the full array backlight and a great price point. Boy am I satisfied with this tv!! No dead pixels!! Very great quality and having Dolby Vision is a plus too. Xbox one x looks amazing and the tv interface is clean and responsive. Overall, extremely satisfied and would get another Sony tv in the future!

The picture is exquisite! Built in speaker quality is good enough for movies but the sound bar obviously makes it a better viewing experience. Apps seem to open easy, the TV in general is easier to use than my most of my previous Sony’s...I have owned Sony ever since I purchased my first 27” Sony Trinitron in ‘97. This TV is another example of Sony’s untouchable picture quality...the depth and motion is surreal.

We shopped around and thought about this purchase for a while before we finally decided on upgrading our old Insignia 55in 1080p. The OLEDs are undoubtedly the best TV money can buy, but for the money, you just can't beat this TV. Excellent picture quality, very easy setup, and excellent smart TV functionality. Can't wait to upgrade our "theater" TV next.

I used to be a Samsung TV guy. Went to Best Buy to purchase a new QLED 8 and saw the new Sony TVs. Did a side by side comparison and was blown away by the rich picture Sony has! Not to mention being $500 less than the Q8. Sony is definitely back!! High recommend this TV for anyone in the market for a 65” upgrade!

I bought this TV after having been a Vizio user for 6 years. I wanted stunning 4K quality at a price that didn’t make the wife want to strangle me. This TV checked the boxes.
Not much to be said other than be aware that the android smart TV function sucks, and blooming on super black scenes is quite terrible, but easy to overlook.

Was looing at an OLED but did not want to "spring" for the extra cost. Must admit that the 900F is a great pirchase and very happy/pleased with the Sony brand. This set replace a 55" XVR that has been a great set for over 6 years. The 900F certainly is an upgrade and well worth the money. Spent the week end at a friend's house and he has the Sony OLED and no question it is a "tad" better nut not worth the extra money/

I have this 65 and I have the 85. The picture is phenomenal. The wifi sucks. I have to use an access point and its 25 feet from a top line router. The 85 sits over the router so its okay. I find the wifi works great with streaming apps like Netflix but it couldnt stop buffering with the Dish app. After I attached the access point the Dish app stopped buffering. Maybe Dish Anywhere isnt written well for Android TV but my kids much cheaper Toshiba Firetv has much better wifi and streams Dish Anywhere without issue. Otherwise the picture is amazing and better than the Toshiba but if you are seriously looking to just use Android TV, the wifi, or maybe Dish Anywhere, does not work well with the built in wifi. I have the LG C9 OLED as well and these are on par. Great visual experience.

Bought this to replace my 60" 4K LG TV and i must say i am highly impressed. The picture quality is amazing, after tinkering with a few settings on TV i got the picture right where i want it. If your budget allows for this i highly recommend buying it. Dozens of extra settings as well.

Replaced our old Sony 32" XBR that worked fine with this TV. Told my husband old TV was fine and 65 seemed too big. Boy was I wrong. Beautiful picture quality and love the smart TV capabilities. I always love Sony products and have never had any problems. We since replaced old TVs in the house because you can't stand to watch small screens and fuzzy pictures. Sports are amazing to watch. Should have bought long time ago.

Despite being a skeptical user this tv convinced me to give it a 5 star. Color & clarity is incredible, especially watching 4k contents. Android platform is unsurpassed, already installed a good number of apps. I just wished the sound of this tv was better. Enjoying my first 65" a lotttttt!
