I have been through quite a few televisions in the past 18 months started with the TCL r615 then the newer model came out so I got the TCL R625which was a pretty good TV but had a couple problems with the local dimming so I wanted to upgrade ended up getting the Vizio quantum P-Series 75-inch that TV had a great picture but the inputs would cutout I had a static line through the middle of the TV and some pretty noticeable dirty screen always have gone with the budget brand so I said to myself why not spend a few hundred more and get something a little more reliable so I ended up purchasing this Sony 900f 75 in and I am pleased to say that I do not think I will be purchasing another television for quite some time (fingers crossed) excellent picture no dirty screen no weird inputs cutting out local dimming works like a charm once you dial in the settings the blacks are very good and is also a bright TV I am very happy with this purchase I would definitely recommend this television to anyone anyone thinking of buying this television can purchase with confidence

    My Dream TV Set

I had been wanting a 75 inch TV for a long time, but found the really good one to be too costly. I actually was coveting a Sony 900 series set, which was even costlier than the other brands. It finally went on sale for a price I was willing to pay, and I pulled the trigger. I set it up myself without any problems. While I have had it for only a few months, it has so far been trouble-free, and I could not be happier. The picture is crystal clear, the colors are vivid, and the size of the screen is wonderful for movies (as well as being great for sports and all other programming). I'm sure some of the other brands would have been more than satisfactory, but I'm really glad I held out for the Sony.

Love the size, love the colors, love the ease of use. Love everything about it. Very happy with my purchase. I don't use the TV sound often, but that's not bad either. Easy to use with Netfilx or other streaming services.

Very happy with the picture quality, the colors jump off the screen. I was concerned with the size of TV that i would experience motion blur while watching golf or hockey (happened with previous 70" tv) absolutely no motion blur. I feel like I'm part of the action!

Here's the deal: I am not an expert per se, but an aficionado when it comes to buying higher-end electronics. I do a lot of research before I walk into a store. That said, I failed to do my due diligence when I walked into a local Best Buy and purchased a new Samsung Q8. Maybe it was the advertising, maybe just the idea of having a QLED. When I got home, the picture was bright and colorful, but the motion was subpar, especially watching sports. It actually made me dizzy at times. Needless to say, I returned it for a Sony 900F, and WOW, what a difference. I see no difference in color or brightness and the motion is 100 times better. In retrospect, this was a no-brainer.

The picture is incredible and motrin flow is extremely smooth. Dolby Vision shows on Netflix look phenomenal. The processor is a little slow but only noticeable when navigating Android TV. The remote is bulky and complicated but overall a better buy than Samsung Q60 and Q70

Originally went in to Best Buy looking at a lower priced brand 70"TV. Our sales representative was very knowledgeable about large 4K TV. My wife asked him what is the best picture. He noted Sony provides the best true colors. The other brand we were looking at the reds in the display such as tomatoes were too red and greens looked metallic. The yellow looked more pale orange than yellow. Very vibrant colors. We tried to tone down the colors but it didn't change. Sony's colors did not change they are true to life. Excellent from all angles. No glare and not to bright. I am very pleased with this TV, excellent for larger room, love the details I can see on this compared to my previous 55" TV.

4k picture is amazing. the apps run smooth and the ARC feature works great with older receiver that does not support 4K upscaling. will allow you to view 4k content and still receive hidden sound. movies look great colors also look vibrant and crisp. Only issue I see when tv is on and nothing is playing there is white blotches coming through the black screen. Looks like light white clouds. Does not do this on dark scenes on movies just when nothing is playing. Went from a ten year old Samsung that was hung. Issue is that the holes in the wall were opposite sites of the hook ups. Had to purchase longer HDMI cords. Nothing major just something to think about if using existing mounting location.

    The Best TV

Exchanged from a XBR75X-850C and I could not be happier. Full array local dimming is the best technology you can get especially if you watch 4K UHD Blurays. The level of detail, and because the black is deeper, creates a greater spectrum of colors, and the contrast is amazing. The image processing of this unit is also very impressive. Moving objects and action scenes look pretty good. I could not be happier. Not to mention that this is also Dolby Vision capable, so you can enjoy that as well with Apple TV 4K.

I've looked at all the TVs in store at Best Buy before buying this one, and I must say in terms of color accuracy, contrast, and picture quality, only one stood out as 'better' than this one, and it was the LG 77" OLED, but that was like $7000. For half the price, this is probably the best TV in the 75" class. Everything is so vibrant, and the picture is stunning.

After debating between a number of different TV’s I opted for this one based on the Sony brand name and I am very glad I did. The picture quality is unreal, especially in 4K Dolby vision etc. The quality of Sony TV’s are worth the Extra money and almost guarantee a great picture of the box and no unnecessary fiddling with features, scene selection etc. This was a great purchase, and extremely glad I didn’t choose a cheaper brand like hisense or TCL and be subject to the panel lottery. Get this, you won’t be disappointed!

I bought this tv on black Friday 2019 and have not been disappointed. The colors and clarity are top notch. I have a samsung Q7FN in my living room and this is leagues above that tv! Perfect addition for my home theater setup!

There is not a great deal of 4K UHD material available - in fact nothing really on Comcast and limited material on feeds - but the image on this TV is marvelous even with lots of ambient light in the room and it looks good when viewed from the sides (not just from the front). Very easy to use too - integration with my sophisticated sound system and with the voice activated Comcast control was simple. Also - I used the installation team and they were great,

The applications are very slow to respond. The tv is very slow to respond to the remote control commands. Sometimes very hard to navigate. Feels like the processing power is to slow to run the applications. The picture is beautiful with great blacks and upscaling is great. I chose this x900 over the x950 because of the anti glare coating on the screen. I have a small light in the back of the room. I actually returned the x950 because of the glossy screen reflecting everything in the room. X950 is only good in a dark room due to reflections. The x900 is way better in a room with lights. For this reason I am staying with the x900.

I did the research, read all the reviews and walked into the store to make my purchase. Once there, all the sets look great. My sales rep did a great job explaining all the brands to me and I made my choice on the x900f 75". I am so glad that I did. This is a beautiful set with a great picture. I had to tweak the settings once it was set up in my home bt again, after watching numerous YoutTube videos, you learn more about hoe the set operates. The out of the box settings are not bad but the tweaks just made it so much better. The colors and brightness are exactly what I was hoping for and the set did not disappoint.

Given that my super thin XBR900c went out due to 4 red flashes of death. We only had it for 3 years and was replace by manufacturer within two months of buying. So we’re where timid about another expensive Sony but I couldn’t resist to go without a Sony. Blacks are impressive for LED, Colors are accurate thru the spectrum, again impressive, Whites are very good with one exception, a window scene with sunshine coming through looks really white. Love everything about this tv. The clarity Is out of this world and how smooth the apps are. The Dolby Vision

I studied several TVs in this price range across numerous brands. Everything kept pointing back to this TV. It has not disappointed. Excellent image quality Deep black levels Accurate color Good video processing Very good high dynamic range performance The Android TV operating system is great with more apps and integrated Google Assistant. I also waited until the newer models came out and the price dropped a little on this one. Highly recommended!

When searching for my new TV I was a little hesitant on buying a Sony. I’ve owned Samsung TVs for years and really liked the color vs the Sony but after purchasing the 75” 900f I can say it definitely has very nice color content and very crisp picture I’m very pleased with the TV. If your on the fence about purchasing the 900f I would say buy it! I’m NOT disappointed that I did. Didn’t give it 5 stars because of the thickness of the TV.

I really don’t have any complaints about the tv, other than only two of the hdmi ports are 4K input, one of them being the arc port. I run a Sony sound bar, Apple TV 4K and a ps4 pro, so to make the ps4 and Apple TV both work at the highest resolution, I couldn’t run the sound bar to the arc port. Not a huge inconvenience, but the control and switching was much more efficient when plugged in there. The picture is second to none, blacks look great, no ghosting with fast motion gaming or movies... I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!
