- 4K, True HDR, OLED - perfect blacks and infinite contrast ratio - best visual experience in movie theather setting. - Audio quality is S-Tier! You do not need a soundbar for this TV. The bass is not dried out or has over-vibration when there is high bass content (ie: SFX, hip-hop) causing a horrible bass experience. The audio range on this TV is insane. It beats my 8 year old, $350 soundbar in audio quality. Samsung should take note! - Auto-compatability with PS5. - Google TV is severely underrated. It is much better than Amazon Fire TV. Google TV is smoother, still supports most Amazon Fire TV apps (basically any app on Amazon is most likely on Google TV as well) but with a better experience. Screencasting for Android users and Apple is great with Google TV! This was a pain for Samsung TVs who supported Apple TV but not Chromecast (very bad move Samsung). - SO much more functionality and control compared to other brands (especially Samsung)

March of 2023: I bought a Sony Mini-LED, 65” tv for a different room in my home, but I came across the QLED 77” TV at Best Buy, and the picture was beyond amazing. They had it sitting opposite a Samsung 8K tv, and the picture on the Sony was just as impressive as the 8K set. After a few weeks I decided to buy this set for my lounge, and I’ve now had it for 2 weeks. The picture quality is stunning. It’s not just the 4K- I’ve got several other 4K sets. I think the size also has to do with it- it just brings the scene to life. It’s just as impressive at home as it was at the store, and that’s a very nice surprise. I did notice that the picture quality of a DVD I own is better on my Panasonic, plasma tv that is NOT 4K than on the big Sony. But the plasma is much smaller and I think that’s the reason. But the 4K images on the Sony beat the Panasonic to hell. The Panasonic Plasma is a GREAT tv, tho, and although it’s old, it still has terrific picture quality. So I’m happy, and very glad I chose this Sony. I was amazed by the picture quality at the store, and I’m still amazed now that it sits in my lounge. I would say it’s the best, most detailed picture I’ve ever seen on a TV, and that would include 8K sets.

Best purchase ever. Overall experience was excellent as expected. Picture quality, high refresh rate, deep colors, sound, contrast,and light-emitting display is exactly what I was looking for in my purchase! Definitely OLED better then QLED. Sony tops the list in brands.

I currently own a xbr-65x850c. Bravia 4k 2015. My neighbor has this tv and it is absolutly beautiful. I could imagine how my ps5 would look on. But Sony TV'S are the way to go. Mine is 8 years old and kicking. I would love to be able to purchase this tv. But just cant. Ill have to hold on to mine. But as a review, I played around with my neighbors and it is absolutly amazing. I might have to tv sit when hes out of town. You cant go wrong with this tv. Its awesome. One day it will be on my wall.

Beautiful tv works great with amazing colors and darks are pitch black. In a bright room still can see picture well. Sound like lost most lay screens now days is ok but not as full compared to a sound bar or stereo but still good enough. Fast refresh rate is great for gaming and Android OS gives this tv an advantage over a similar LG because of of the comparability. Love this tv would buy it again. Only gripe is the casing of the tv is all plastic. Would have preferred a bit nicer backing on a higher end tv like this but that’s it. Very large picture great for larger living rooms where you sit back further. Like being at the movies.

Highly recommend SONY OLED! Installation of new TV & Mounting Bracket went smoothly! Crew would not reinstall existing TV upstairs as promised by Associate. Had to go back to Best Buy and schedule/pay for reinstallation of existing TV upstairs!

For starters, excellent picture as you would expect from a new OLED. The 77" model does have two issues to be addressed. The first is the bezel around the screen. I do think that is a little bit thick, definitely stands out compared to the LG C2 or Sony A80J. The second issue is brightness. I have to put this tv into "Vivid" as the picture setting otherwise the ambient room light drowns out the picture brightness. I have a window adjacent to the tv and I have to keep the blinds completely closed during the day if I want to watch tv especially anything with night scenes. The pros are as follows. Picture is great, streaming some OLED-specific content really shows off what the tv is capable of. Excellent sound quality. Didn't even realize my sound at wasn't connected until the second day of use. There is little glare even for the darker picture. Room light will make it hard to see details in darker scenes but the glare/reflections are minimal with all things considered. This tv is very rigid compared to some LG models so it doesn't feel like you're going to break it when wall mounting. Works great (as expected) with PS5. Excellent feet if you aren't wall mounting, love the design that Sony uses. It was a good purchase. Only other thing I was considering was the LG C2 but I've had some bad luck with LG recently so I stuck with Sony.

This is my 3rd Sony TV. I have a 65 and 75 inch version of the 900 or 90 as it is now. I love both of those TVs. I had the 75 inch setup in my basement theater room. I ordered the 85 inch 90k and then changed my mind and got the A80k 77 inch model. At first I was second guessing myself because I wanted the massive 85 inch and I loved the 900 model. Well Im def satisfied with my choice. I watch in a dark room and this TV is plenty bright!!! The contrast with the black levels is amazing!!! I have not even messed with calibrating it yet and its amazing out of the box! Was just watching season 3 of Jack Ryan today and I was blown away by the picture!! Dont get me wrong the Sony 900 or 90 series are great TVs but the picture on this is so much better. Cant wait til Sony lowers the price on the A90k 83 inch, going for that next.

Best picture for the size. Must get an OLED. This is the best OLED Sony has made. The QD OLED looks great for animation and video games. But the OLED is great for nature, movies and tv shows. You will not regret buying this TV.

We bit the bullet an upgraded from our old 55" LED 1080p to this Sony 77" OLED 4K. So far we've only watched our satellite service and a few DVDs and Blu-ray DVDs on it, but what a difference! Of course the larger screen is a significant improvement, but it's the sharp picture, colors & contrast that are most amazing. Last night we watched one of our old favorite DVDs that has many dimly lit scenes and because of the OLED contrast we saw details in those scenes we never knew existed! The built in speakers are just fine for ordinary news and satellite programming, so we just use our surround sound system for movies and music videos. We'll soon be watching some 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray DVDs, and expect it will be an awesome experience on this great TV!

I have now owned 7 Sony TVs, between LEDs and now my second OLED and I have to say, Sony really has outdone themselves with this model. I had this installed yesterday from one of the better Geek Squad crews I have seen and it is tuned and just awesome. Not only does the picture quality stand out and the colors really pop, the sound coupled with Sonos surround is great. I have now watched a few movies on here it is just awesome. I have looked at LG and Samsung TVs but cannot bring myself to part with Sony, since I am a true Sony electronics fan, I own the PS5 and the game play with this TV is a beauty. The true blacks of this screen are just amazing and it is truly spectacular. Nice work Sony!

Originally Purchased Sony 65 inch, returned that And went with Sony - 77" Class BRAVIA XR A80K OLED. I was skeptical due to the price difference with the 77 inch., But after unboxing the TV, I’m glad I made the right purchase. The clarity and vibrant color is outstanding. I live in a 1200 Sq ft Condo, and the TV is perfect.

This is a phenomenal TV. The motion handling and upscaling are 2nd to none as is customary with Sony processing. Most people worry about brightness when it comes to OLED TVs, I was as well, but that should no longer be a concern. This TV is plenty bright, if you have a big window directly behind you, like any TV, you'll see it in the reflection so do yourself a favor and invest in some time of covering. I can't recommend this TV enough which I'm happy to say after literal months of research to find the best fit for what I was looking for, get it.

Great picture in 4K streaming. The TV cost a little more than I liked to have spent but I'm overall happy with the purchase.

This TV is great. The picture is amazing; deep blacks, very bright, easy to adjust the picture to your liking. It has "advanced" settings like Gamma, etc., and even more advanced settings if you want it calibrated by a professional, which I don't need. The picture is perfect after just a few minor adjustments. I don't know how good it is for "gaming", though. I'm not a big gamer. It's very large. It didn't look that big in the store, but it's huge. I could have done with the 65.

So far the picture quality is amazing on this TV, especially if you watch Blu Rays or have premium streaming video service. I like that it's a smart TV but not intrusive and let's you set it up how you like with any other third party hardware. It also auto detects new inputs and can switch for you. This will be personal preference, but the TV can almost be too bright sometimes. Especially in a dark room. I've played with the settings and it's easier on the eyes now and still looks sharp and contrasting.

Flawless Beautiful Picture with the dynamics of a LED-backed screen and the REAL contrast of an OLED. Most OLEDs seem over-boosted and oversharpened in the contrast and color areas. The transition from grays to blacks is very nice and not abrupt like the LG's. The Sony has a real, almost 3-D-like picture. I love it. Great surround sound finishes the appeal.

Had sony in the past i missed the picture quality so i bought a new one. Had Samsung also but cant beat the Sony OLED .
