I enjoy the fact that I can connect my PS5 to the TV and the setup was extremely easy. The issue I have with the TV is how it will constantly freeze, not responding to the remote or the buttons on the TV itself. The only way for me to resolve the issue is to unplug the power source, which I find myself doing it a few times a month. The TV will also start to lag, having a delayed response when toggling through the apps/other features or pretty much any operation carried out while using the TV remote. The amount of time the TV takes to open apps, volume control and conduct any task is slow. In order to have a longer duration between the TV freezing and/or lagging, I have to do a full factory reset on the TV losing any additional apps that were downloaded, including the accounts attached to additional apps and the apps the TV comes preloaded with. For a TV in this price range, I’d expect a high quality software/program. I can safely say that I know it’s the TV when all software is up to date, very strong internet connection and high speed internet within the household, having no internet issues with other devices. I purchased this TV about 6 months ago and I started having these issues about two months after receiving the TV.

Impressive coming from OLED User

I was worried about black levels, blooming, etc. All the caveats of going with LED. I can say Mini-LED almost gets near perfect blacks where OLED fans would be hard pressed to find many differences. The software is still a little buggy (sometimes skips and jumps when scrolling). I would imagine this will be fixed with future updates. Not enough of an issue though for me to return the gem of a tv. I can definitely recommend this tv as movie night is such a blast now. I did pair with Soundbar/Sub so I can't speak on the quality of tv speakers.

Sony X95K 85" - Highly Recommended.

It felt like a toss up to me so I went with the Sony. Picture quality, setup and overall experience is very good. I was nervous buying a TV this big but I love it. I would recommend mounting the TV on the wall, but we are using a TV stand. The Stand wasn't wide enough for the mounts to be on the edges of the TV, but fortunately, there is an alternative stand setup that is narrower. Only issue with that is the TV doesn't really stand up high enough for a TV sound bar to go with using the stands in the "inside configuration". I was able to make it work though. Highly recommend this TV. Google TV: This is my first experience and so far so good. Setup was easy and I was able to add/update the apps I wanted. I have an Apple TV 4K that I'm using on the TV so I didn't really need it, however, I could see actually doing away with the Apple TV at some point. So far apps and features are on par either way for my use case.

Model was not planning on getting such a nice TV but couldn’t pass up the deal. The picture quality is amazing. Best TV I have ever seen in a home. You can see the grass see every blade of grass on the field when you watch football it is incredible and video games run amazing on it. Definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made. I also got the Sony sound bar. I would recommend getting with the TV if you get it.

Best 2022 MiniLED TV!

I've seen reviews that the 65” and 75” didn't perform well when it came to black levels and blooming. I am here to say that the 85” has done a fantastic job. Now on occasion, you will see some blooming and elevated black bars depending on the content!!! However, 90% of the time, blacks are black! I have a couple of things that I have an issue with the TV that I hope that Sony can address. 1, please enable auto local dimming on the home screen and Google TV. It's an absolute eyesore turning the TV on and seeing that the home screen is washed out. 2. Sony, PLEASE ADD A GAME BAR!!!! We are in 2022, and Samsung and LG have a game bar. Why is Sony always late to the game regarding gaming features??? Because those two issues the picture is truly amazing.

Although the X95k is a superb television. Blacks were exceptional and colors are vibrant. The X95k is a brighter television in comparison. would definitely refer. But olde is an olde .. very hard decision between them both. but the A90J was the victor.

WOW, stunning display

The depth of color and color accuracy are incredible. I know that there are many who site blooming as a concern yet all LCD/LED TV's will have light bleed to an extent sue to its technology. I can tell you in my opinion that this display makes the best of it though and what little blooming I occasionally see is minimal and not distracting what so ever. I purchased the 85" and at 1st was concerned that it would be to large as I sit 10.5' from the panel yet watching movies it truly immerses you in the film. I do not use the internal apps on the TV so I can not speak to their quality. 4K physical media whether it be HDR or Dolby Vision is absolutely stunning. I utilize Spectrum Cable with a STB receiver and the only quality of image and motion concerns have come while watching FOX's feed of Sunday football games. The motion and image was not on point regarding stutter and blurring yet CBS and NBC was perfect. Regarding the brightness this TV will burn your eye balls out if you so choose. I watch in a light controlled room and for cable feed have the brightness set to 27 and for disc viewing have it set to 30. Can't speak to the sound quality of the internal speakers as I have this set up with a 5.1.4 audio system. I would defiantly recommend this display. I did pay to have Geek Squad set this up only for the ease of carrying this behemoth down a flight of stairs, disposal of my old set and removal of all of the requisite boxing.

Purchased for an Upgraded PS5 Experience

But really got excited about the release of God of War Ragnarök. We upgraded before the game was released from a 65 inch curved Samsung tv. Our Best Buy actually didn’t have the tv in stock so it was delivered and installed two days after the release. We didn’t even want to watch the trailer or download the game with our Samsung tv. This is our first Sony smart tv and we have no regrets about upgrading, we love this tv! It was perfect for our PS5 gaming experience, of course it’s perfect for movies as well. This is the most we’ve spent on a tv but we have no regrets. If you’re on the fence, just go ahead and buy it. * Ragnarök has already been beat, that’s why there are no gaming photos attached to this review *
