This 85" Sony TV replaced my 60" Pioneer Elite plasma. I love it!. I'm so glad I didnt go smaller, as I have a pretty large wall to place it in. The smart TV functions are also good. Once in a while I do need to reconnect the WIFI, but it could be me playing with different devices cable box, sterao receiver, blu-ray etc. Time will tell. Also- It was definately worth buying a seperate Logitech remote to replace multiple remotes! I'll follow up on that review for that at another place. But it's great!! I had the Geek squad do the TV installation and set up. They did a great job and were very informidable.

My husband is more thrilled than I am with this purchase, but I must admit it's a beautiful thing to watch such colors in this Tv when you're watching your movies. We adapted speakers and a subwoofer to add to the movie experience. I added a 4K blu ray to enhance my apps as well. 4K movies are brilliant and realistic, hopefully more 4K movies and shows will be added to my cable service, but even 1080 looks awesome. We upgraded from a Sony 65 inch to 85 and it's definitely worth it. Our own little theatre at home. The protection is expensive but imperative on this model and a piece of mind for us. I highly recommend it.

After shopping for awhile we picked the Sony because of the true colors. This TV has great upscaling for non-4K and an amazing 4K picture. The voice remote is great. The picture is crisp and clear.

If you are looking for a large screen 4K smart TV at an affordable price, this is possibly the best option. Only thing is that it does not have 3D

We have had the 85" for a month now and are loving it. I am amazed at the clarity considering the size - even older movies seem to take advantage of the upscaling capabilities to look like blu ray quality and 4k content is even better. Very happy with this choice.

I've had this tv for a couple of weeks now and couldn't be happier with it. I was planning to replace my 70" Sharp with a 75" 4K tv, until I saw the 85" Sony at Best Buy. I'm very happy I went with the 85" instead of the 75". Bigger is better when you're looking at this 4K tv. The picture is very sharp and the colors are beautiful. I've also been impressed with how quickly the YouTube app responds

I was in the market for a larger screen size than the 60" Samsung I had in my game room and knew I wasn't doing a projector/screen set up for this room, so size and picture quality were key items I was looking for. This unit satisfied those two items in spades. Biggest problem I found with the unit is what I had already read in several reviews and that is the glitchy operation of the Android based software built into this unit. My main gear this unit is fed by is the OPPO UDP-205 4K player connected to a Marantz AV8802A, all audio is routed via XLR balanced cable to Parasound JC2 - BP, and Parasound JC-1 mono blocks for the mains and a Parasound A31 3 channel amp for the center and surround speakers, point is its the sets issues and not the associated equipment that's glitchy. It's too bad, as the picture is great, so the inconvenience of the software ruins what would otherwise be a great monitor. Moving forward, I am glad I have the extended warranty, but my suggestion to anyone looking for a "big screen" is go for a front projector and motorized screen. For about half the cost of this unit you can get a top rated 4K video projector with a larger screen (over 100") - that's the next purchase for our theater room.

I upgraded from a 55" LCD TV to this beast and what a difference! With an 85" footprint the picture is magnificent and the size just blows me and my family away. There are a lot of options on this TV. We have no complaints and i would definitely recommend buying it. Go big or go home.

This Sony TV delivers a great picture and has lots of the built in features you'd expect from a smart TV. The 4K resolution really looks great on this size TV. It is a little heavier than some other TVs this size but the picture make it worth it.

Overall, exceptional. The picture is very clear and colorful.

Happy with the switch to the Sony. Picture is sharp color is vibrant. This has been added to my over the top AV theater system.

The setup was simple, the picture is wonderful, and you can't beat the price for a 4k TV of this size.

This tv has an amazing picture and nice size. It does not take long to turn on and it's responsiveness is quick.

I needed a TV of this size to maximize the space in my media room. I love the size and the picture. 4k looks amazing when you watch it on a screen this big....it truly is like bringing the movie theater to your home.

I bought this TV on July 3 2016 and it was delivered on July 12. The TV was great. Very happy with it until September 25 2016 when it would not turn on. I called Best Buy they said unless I had bout the $600 protection plan they could only send a tech and charge me $99 for the trip and parts. They said Sony handled the manufacture warranty and I needed to call them. I called the 877-591-7669 number and the Sony guy said I needed to call the trouble shoot department at 800-222-7069. We are at that stage of frustration. We will see what Sony will do next. Bottom line is do not spend the money on Sony stick with Samsung. Their TVs work. That is all I have had in the past and they are still working. Much better than the 2.5 months for the $8000 Sony.

My wife and I love this TV. The picture quality is simply amazing, and it almost looks 3D even without the technology because the picture is both so large and so clear. While we miss being able to watch the 3D versions of our favorite movies, it is worth it.

Love the picture and sound. Family and friends enjoy watching action movies. The sound and color is very good.

We use this tv for our conference room. The color is great and the picture is clear.

The picture is excellent with 4K programming with deep blacks and excellent colors! However, the image is not as warm as one would expect in such an expensive television
