    I’ve had this camera for about a week, pretty user friendly after going through the menu a few times. Takes absolutely stunning photos. The auto mode having different presets for what you’re shooting is a huge help for beginners. You can’t go wrong with this one.

    Great compact full frame camera for vloggers, travelers, or anyone just looking for a full frame in a small size. However, the viewfinder and the display are lower resolution than comparable full sized* full frame cameras in this price range.

    Worthy upgrade for full frame enthusiasts

    Been in the Sony ecosystem since getting an Alpha 7ii in 2014. Been wanting to upgrade for a while but the A7 iii and A7 iv bodies have grown bigger with each generation. Thank goodness for the A7C ii, which brings all the latest features and performance of the newer models but in a body that retains the original A7’s best feature — its compactness. If you can snag an A7C (first gen) on sale, thats still a tempting buy for the price, but if you’re looking for a Sony full-frame with the latest autofocus (its pretty darn amazing) that’ll travel well and last for years to come, the A7Cii is close to ideal.

    Best Buy, Do Better

    I ordered a brand-new camera with a 4-year Geek Squad protection plan, expecting a seamless purchase. Instead, what I received was an open-box unit—with no protective cover for the shutter, debris on the camera, and preconfigured settings from a previous owner. To make matters worse, the initial shipment required a signature, meaning I had to take the day off work to receive it—only to be met with this completely unacceptable mistake. When I called customer service, their only solution was to have me stay home again and wait another four days for a replacement. I explained that I had already taken time off work for this, making it difficult to repeat the process. Instead of addressing my concern, I was transferred—over and over again. • First, I asked for a manager but was sent to tech support instead, where I was belittled—the agent dismissively told me, “It’s just a camera, not like a washer, dryer, or TV.” This camera is also expensive, and that attitude was beyond unprofessional. • When I insisted on speaking to a leader, I was told the only available leader was off the clock. • At this point, frustrated and losing faith in the process, I requested to cancel my order—only to be transferred yet again to a different department, then again to Geek Squad. At this point, I genuinely don’t know if it’s worth buying from Best Buy anymore. The experience has been disheartening, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. I expected professionalism and quality service, but instead, I got a used product, wasted time, and complete disregard for my concerns. Best Buy, do better.

    1st one was damaged in shipping due to poor packaging, 2nd was lost in shipping and didn’t arrive as scheduled at store so I went somewhere else to purchase
