It took around 15 minutes for them to come out. After that it was just a speedy process of showing them the code and ID then BOOM, PS5 was in my possession JUST LIKE THAT. 10 OUT OF 10 customer service. Some of the BEST that I've EVER been through. I already knew the console was going to be extravagant. The first boot up animation was magical. The music put me on a different planet. I LOVE the lights that come through the console/controller and the haptic feedback/adaptive trigger features. The haptic feedback is CRAZY. I also LOVE how there's a built-in microphone, SO USEFUL. One of my FAVORITE parts is how LONG the charging cord is, this was the BIGGEST make or break for me. I was thinking like would I have to take breaks to let my controller charge? NO SIR, the cord is really REALLY long. So I can just keep gaming for as LONG AS I WANT. Games looks SO GOOD and download SO FAST. Loading times are pretty much NON-EXISTENT. Controller is REALLY comfortable and beautiful looking. I LOVE the glass looking buttons on it and the grip on the sides. Console is BEAUTIFUL, the neon lights look SO GOOD at night. I like how it's basically a built-in fan to keep it running smooth for eternity. And the base is made to keep it propped up and make sure that the console gets air. YouTube runs SO SMOOTH and you can watch videos in 4K. But yeah in conclusion, there were NO flaws in this process. Straight GODLY experience. Keep up the good work. God Bless you guys for real.

Love it. Its large so it may not fit in every set up. Very quiet machine. Quick to load. Much faster than ps4 pro. Easy set up. I had zero questions as far as set up goes. Playstation is offereing many free games, which have been upscaled to 60fps at launch. There is plenty to enjoy from jump street. Looking forward to enjoying the next 7 or 8 years with this console as the centerpiece of my display.

Amazing next gen console. Such a beautiful piece of tech. The controller is incredible too. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are what really take this console over the top of feeling next gen. If you’re fortunate enough to get your hands on one, you won’t regret it! It’s amazing. My only gripe is how massive the console is.. but it looks really cool in my entertainment center haha.

Hey you, yeah you -that person checking the reviews trying to make sure it's ok to purchase a PS5. I am here to tell you that if you have made it this far, if you are debating it in your head - go ahead and make the plunge. If you are lucky enough to get one, go for it. Best Buy probably has the fairest way to to beat the bots, so go for it. Your PS5 will be a great step up from a PS4, or even a great entry into console gaming. Not only does it play game at 120hz and 120 fps (if your TV/display can handle it of course), but you can even handle easy 4K stuff with 8K support through HDMI 2.1. The controller is a modern marvel that really breaks that traditional dual shock mold Sony was into for a while. Haptic feedback (different vibrations based on what you do) and adaptive triggers (varying levels of force and tension as you interact with stuff) make the Dual sense probably the most innovative thing that Video games have seen in quite a while. The launch games are decent, but will only get better. A definite plus on the games side is most recent PS4 games will have a PS5 patch that brings new and vibrant life to the next generation and if you are a PS Plus member, you get a full library of generation defining games free. So, TL:DR - go ahead and get the PS5, you won't regret it =^-^=

Honestly, what do you expect? It's next-gen. The console itself to begin with looks like some type of alien object that's casually placed in your living room. The controller is fantastic, much bigger so it can grip in my hands properly now. I always liked the PS4 controller but now holding this I can see how much less of a controller it is compared to the PS5's. Lastly, you honestly won't get the full next-gen experience​ until HDMI 2.1 4k monitors come out that runs over 120hz. So if money is a little tight I​ would wait till it dies down. Not worth paying over retail for this console. So if you were thinking of buying it from those scalpers don't.

Playstation has done it again and brought us another amazing console. Smooth and Fast interface with a bunch of new and upgraded features to that of the Playstation 4. This is the next generation of gaming, I can also play my PS4 games and do cross-play with PS4 players using either the PS4 or PS5 version of the game. The Dualshock 4 works perfectly on my PS4 games as well. The new heptic feedback makes the PS5 games more immersive along with it's 3D rumble. It has crashed about 2 times in the whole month I've played, and it is something that can be easily fixed with an update. Playing big games and the fans are quiet unlike the jet plane from the PS4. It was really fast and easy to transfer all my data from the PS4 to the PS5 too. I totally recommend it for previous console owners and new console owners, this console is a brand new experience for everyone. PS5 games get tips and tricks with videos such as that for collectibles. We also get a trophy and progress tracker of the PS5 games. The DualSense has a mic so you can also talk with your friends while playing and even watch their screen while you are playing. Everything you could of do on the PS4 can be done easier and faster on the PS5. If you ever get the chance of getting one of these, you won't be disappointed!

PS5 next gen console with 4k graphics at 120htz. Hell yeah!!!! Along with all the award winning Playstation games. Another hell yeah!!!! Only major complsints is with the PS5 only have like 662gb of usable space. Not cool Sony. They do give you the option to add memory though so it works out. While I suggest getting a PS5 console with a disc drive the digital edition does cost $100 less if you are trying to save money. Some people are under the impression that the disc console isnt digital which is false. There is no difference at all between the disc and digital except for the disc drive. They are both capable for digital games. Some people complain of disc drive noise and digital is quieter. Well if you use a disc console with a digital game its no different noise wise. The reason Im set on disc is because you have two gaming options as to only one with a digital console. You can loan out your disc gsmes or buy used disc games or sell disc games you are done with. You cant there is no such thing as sharing a digital game or selling it. So prices are generally higher since its never going to be a used games. You can catch digital games on sale though. Some have the argument that they never play disc games. Yes thats a choice. I do have a lot more digital games than I do disc games but I also have disc games. Basically its all about options. The digital is cheaper in the beginning but in the long run if you dont mind buying a used disc game or borrowing a disc game from others the disc console will save you a lot more money over the life of the console. I have zero complaints about digital. Its just about prefering to have more options fmpov. On the flipside its all about choices and its great that we have a choice of which console we want.

Unboxing Unboxing the console was a pleasant experience with all the peripherals well laid out and packaged. The items were easy to remove and lay out for set up. Connecting If you’ve set up a console within the last five years you should be able to set up the console without any worries and start enjoying in no time. Using the console The biggest change from previous generations would be the DualSense controller. After setting up the console, I highly recommend launching the included Astro’s Playroom to grasp the full engineering and technical genius behind this new controller. It definitely is a game changer. Pros - Beautiful system and controller - Fast load times - Excellent graphics and gameplay - Can play physical games and not just downloaded titles Cons - Challenging to get at retail price - No many games optimized for the system yet Overall this a great console and I would recommend it to everyone considering purchasing. Don’t pay more than retail for it though, I suggest you wait until you can get it at retail price, it’s not worth paying more.

Sony has launched the PS5 with great improvements to the previous PS4 Pro, the great technological advance of the console is the DualSense although it will depend on the developers if they want to exploit it or not. The graphics are good, but not excellent since there are several barriers with the console, also the size is a point that will not be to the liking of many users. Backward compatibility has not been improved on this new console and is a very important point that Sony overlooked. However, the power of the SSD, the 3D audio and the speed that the console shows make it have more superiority than the previous PS4 Pro. Hopefully, Sony will do later to make updates to the console and unlock some functions for the enjoyment of the same.

I picked up my PS5 this morning at Best Buy, got back home and downloaded all my PS4 saves from the PlayStation online storage but you still have put all of your physical disc games in the PS5 so the system can read them and all of your saved data etc......The loading is super fast, from a cold start powered off to the home page is about 3 to 5 seconds and from the Home Screen going into a game is even faster. It’s a good thing to go thru all your settings and personalize everything to your liking, there’s some very cool features the console will do for you it’s really amazing. The gameplay is seamless and crisp, no slow downs at any point while playing from what I’ve seen so far, not to mention the PS5 is WHISPER quiet compared to the PS4 and the console doesn’t get hot at all and I’ve been playing all day. Sony really knocked it out of the park with the PS5, can’t wait for Gran Turismo 7 and RE8........almost forgot, the graphics are amazing too and some PS4 games will get a graphical boost.

It's a beautiful system with great graphics and amazing load times. Kinda low on SSD space if youre a heavy gamer. The controllers are great with the adaptive triggers and built in mic and haptic feedback. Free games as a ps plus member is always a plus.

Have had the PS5 for about 5 months already and I've really been enjoying it, as someone who's never had the PS4 I'm really happy that I can finally play all the awesome exclusives I've missed as well as most of them getting a FPS patch! As for next gen exclusives I've gotten Spiderman Miles Morales and Demon Souls and all I can say is wow the graphics are amazing, and the fast loading times are a blessing, and don't forget the 60fps! This console is definitely next gen and well worth the wait and money. It slightly difficult to get one of these but thanks to Best Buy I was able to snag one! My minor gripe is the amount of Gb this comes with as well as PlayStation not making it available to install extra space inside (The SSD) hopefully later this year if would become available, I'm looking forward to what PlayStation exclusives Sony has in store for us PS5 owners.

I upgraded from the PS4 Pro with no regrets, get it as soon as possible since the games nowadays are becoming PS5 only, but get an SSD or external hard drive for storage because it can not hold many games alone.

Astonishing Product... I have run multiple games at 4k 120 frames and not a peep from this console. The lights are amazing on the console and the controller. I just bought FUSER and it looks like a rave in my hand when I play, so cool. The haptic is among the best I have ever seen, and the triggers are a game-changer, if not revolutionary. The digital console is a great price point and makes little to no difference in-game. I have been addicted to playing on my 55 inch OLED and I must say, if you end up getting this console for an old gen TV, it will compel you to update. Believe me, it's worth it 1000 times. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who cares even remotely about gaming, it has impressed everyone who has stepped into my house, and I'm sure it will impress you as well.

Ps5 obviously could be better with the games. But going from ps4 to ps5. Performance is worth it 100% 4k games look amazing

Order came in earlier than expected! The entire process was so smooth. The guys at the front desk were kind and quick with helping me with my order, I was out of the store in no time. As for the Ps5, this thing is rockin. I haven't put it down since I got it. The controller is on another level and don't get me started with the graphics. I recommend purchasing a monitor compatible to get full 120 FPS on games that are capable because the graphics are next level. I went with the digital version, and that being said it comes with more than enough storage for all your games. I highly recommend playstation, as this console covers all the bases for my gaming needs.

Absolutely love it. If you own a PS4, there is no reason not to upgrade. Just wish it was a lot simpler to play actual ps5 versions of the games. The series x automatically just does it yet for some reason Sony thinks people will want to play the PS4 version for some reason and Sony really should have figured out how to put more storage because you will run out quick especially if you play call of duty. Also this thing is massive.
