    Great System - Average Game

The Vita itself is great - and the new slimmer design feels great in my hands. The only gripes about this bundle are A) an 8 GB memory card is kind of the bare minimum that you would want with a Vita - will probably need to upgrade, and B) Borderlands 2 on the vita is average at best, especially if you already played it on a console.

It's slim and fits in my pocket. Battery is great too. When the wife is on the TV I can play. So man free games with PlayStation + I haven't even bought any yet. My daughter has a Nintendo DS and a 3D DS and this is way more adult and fun. I thought with lager hands I'd cramp up but it's made for it. I can also stream games from my PS4 with no lag. It does have 2 drawbacks. One is need to grab a memory card as the one you get just fits the free game. Two is shooters don't translate well. Destiny for ps4 isn't really playable because your missing 2 trigger buttons.

Really great price if your looking to purchase a vita. The game that comes with it is fun enough. Owned both vitas and although the original oleddisplay is slightly crisper and brighter, I prefer the new longer battery and thinness.

Look at the PS Vita game library. If you see a few games you want to play, buy this system. It's that simple. The battery life is pretty good. It's light weight and very portable. The screen is beautiful. I took off a star for the silly prices for the memory cards. They a way too expensive.

Great gaming system!!! Especially if you're a PlayStation Plus member. I've had PlayStation Plus for over a year & have downloaded almost 20 PS Vita games in that time FOR FREE & they're almost all fantastic!!! The touchscreen works great, but you MUST get a screen protector as the screen scratches VERY EASILY!! The best screen protector is from illumishield. Do not buy any others!!!! All the games I have have awesome graphics (Swapper, Stick it to the Man, Gravity Rush & way more) the screen is bright & colorful. The analog sticks are a bit looser that I like but present no real problems with gameplay. The only other down side is the memory cards. They are EXPENSIVE but they are a MUST have for PS+ members. A 16gb or 32gb memory card is the bare minimum.

What a great little system. Really love the look and feel. Great to remote play PS4 games with and paired with a PSTV.

Great for on the go entertainment. Not something I use everyday, but thankful when I travel. With ps plus service especially, there are a ton of games to choose from. Also the remote play works great.

It's been awhile since playing a handheld system, but man it is awesome. I like everything about it. Lots of fun to play!! The remote play for PS4 is great. The wife can watch a show and I can still play anything on the PS4. I recommend having PS plus, you'll get a free game each month. There is a good selection of games, however you'll either have to order them online or download from PS store. No retailers seem to stock PS Vita games. Note: if you plan on downloading lots of games you'll need to invest in a large memory card, which are a bit expensive no matter where you look. Overall all, well worth the $200 for the bundle!!

This was the only way to purchase the new PS Vita Slim in the US, and including an 8GB memory card and a game more than makes this a great deal. I'm not really into FPS games, so Borderlands 2 was not a draw for me, but I had been waiting to get a Vita and was happy to get the bundle for the same price as the old model by itself. The PS Vita Slim is very light and easy to use, but doesn't feel junky like some other hand-held systems. I highly recommend adding Playstation Plus if you have a Vita and any other PS system. the free games each month more than make it worth it, and really can add to your Vita game collection.

I gotta give Sony credit. I'm normally a huge 3DS gamer and have a huge library of games for my 3DS but I wanted some more adult games, with some more beautiful video and controls. So I said, eh why not I'll get a Vita. Especially since I wanted more anime based games. After I saw Dangan ronpa, Sword art online, senran kagura, etc I was like whoa ok I'll check it out. BIG glad I picked up one of these bundles especially with the free 8GB memory card, and free borderlands. Not happy about the overpriced memory cards, I wish some chinese knock offs were made already for the memory cards but no luck yet in my searches. Anyways the games are all priced well like 3DS and I love the market place! Way better then 3DS for digital game library on there. What makes me mad about that though is that requires more memory cards.....and that's a LOT of money which is stopping me from buying things on the market place. The greed of that custom memory card is stopping sales they could've had. Should've just used a Micro SD like the rest of the world.... That's the ONLY downfall I have with the PSVita, that and the fact the console feels extremely delicate unlike my New 3DS XL which feels solid and tough. The Vita I need to be extremely careful with though I like the controls better on the Vita big time. My hands cramp less too while on the 3DS I get hand cramp from the button placement. In the end I love both!

First, this bundle is a great deal. The hardware is for sure a side grade to the original model. The OLED screen was beautiful but unless side by side with the new one one, you probably wouldn't notice a difference. Battery life is improved and it's great to have a normal USB charger. While not as sleek and nice looking as the old model, the new one feels better in the hands and is more comfortable. The memory card is nice but it holds Borderlands and DLC and MAYBE one other game before being full. If sony really wants to sell Vitas and games the memory cards need to come down to SD card prices. Borderlands does not run as well as it's ps3 counterpart but who really expected it to. It's not a perfect port but Borderlands on the Vita is still fun.

I love the Vita. I wish it had more games, or at least more cross platform games, but I love this thing. The graphics are phenomenal. It's incredibly light weight (much lighter than my 3DS) and I LOVE the fact that they've remastered a lot of my favorite PSP and PS2 games (FFX, Sly Cooper, Metal Gear, etc.) My wish list is incredibly long. But I do wish they'd have more games available on Vita that are available on the PS4/PS3. Like NiNoKuni and Left for Dead. Regardless, it's amazing. I love having (nearly) the same graphics as a PS4 in the palm of my hand.

Definitely recommend getting a Vita if you own a PS4 for it's remote play capabilities. With the PS3 it's a bit more limited. Great on it's own too, plenty of games for all types of gamers. The only drawback I have with this bundle was the controls for the manic fps that is Borderlands 2. I played for months on the PS3 and it's not to say the port is bad or that it's in any way a poorly made game, but it's lacking on controls and just plain hard to play. I'd still recommend this bundle and the 8 gig card is a good starter but if you have ps plus I highly recommend also buying a larger 32 or 64 gig card. The 1 gig it has built in is only usable if you do not have a card in, it does not stack!

I've debated buying a Vita for probably two years now, I can't believe I waited so long for something so perfect and amazing. The graphics and HD quality on the screen is outstanding, it's actually hard to believe just how good it is, the games on the Vita is every bit as good as on the PS3 or PS4. If you've been waiting and trying to figure out if this is for you, stop waiting and go pick one up, played Assassin's Creed and Uncharted already, those two games alone where worth picking the system up!

Playstation Vita is a great handheld for anyone looking to playing great quality games. Especially for those who are into games more targeted towards the Japanese market. This bundle also includes a download voucher for Borderlands 2 and a 8GB Memory card which makes this a much better deal. On top of all this you can use the Remote Play which allows you to play Playstation 4 games through the Vita and continue gaming anywhere else in the house similar to the Wii U's gamepad feature.

The PS vita borderlands bundle has proven to be a great distraction when you cannot get your hands on your PS4. An excellent handheld and if you have a ps + account you will have a ton of games to play right off the bat. Some of the bad - the touch control on the back is difficult to use when you are using remote play. Some games get it right, others do not. The good far outweighs the bad though and as long as you can get creative with your finger placement, the Vita will provide some good entertainment on planes, long car rides and when your wife wants to watch Housewives on tv. Enjoy!
