The best headset I’ve had since the OG astro a40s and definitely a step up from original pulse headsets. They’re very comfortable and the planar magnetic drivers make a big difference when it comes to sound. Sounds are very crisp and bright with some nice bass thats not overpowering. Takes a little to get used too but I was finally able to adjust the EQ settings to my liking. Also i noticed it would disconnect at first but I was able to fix that by putting the USB Bluetooth connector to the front instead of the back. When you connect it to the back it would get really hot due to the hot air blowing out the back causing it to disconnect or act buggy. I love it and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!!!! If you played cod, put the in-game sound settings to Home theater instead of headphones along with the eq settings I posted in the pics, you’ll get a wider range of sounds which sounds awesome!!!

Everything about these headsets are great from the Audio, Noise canceling, Battery life, Multi Bluetooth and comfortable. But the only issue I have with these headsets is the build quality.

I've a home audio system and these sound pretty weak compared to the thunder I'm used to. But connectivity is super easy and conversation is really good. These are not bad sounding, they are just one or two notches above midpoint. Very comfortable to wear for medium to long (6hrs) sessions. I also use these with the Playstation remote handheld. Not bad there either. Good battery life. I have not regularly used over-the-ear headphones in years and the ones I used to use were for music production and of higher quality. Lastly, whoever designed the wall mount piece should be fired. It's super cheap plastic.

The headset is amazing, excellent sound with great settings customization that can be performed directly from the PS5. Just one small issue found… it may disconnect randomly however it doesn’t happen too often or repeatedly. Overall in sound and quality is a step forward compared to the regular Pulse.

I've used this for a few hours already. I love the flexible inside head strap that automatically adjusts with your head. The headphones fit over my ear nicely and are comfortable. I've had the volume at about 75% and it sounds great. I also went into the sound settings and am using the preloaded shooter profile. I used the wall mount that came with it to hang the headphones. The wall mount also charges the headphones. I used a 22 lb drywall anchor and a screw with a FLAT screw head. The rounded screw head did not work. It does not come with a screw or drywall anchor. I mounted it behind my PS5 and sort of behind my TV. Easy to connect to PS5. You will have update the software first. So you'll need to connect the headphones to the PS5 first. I also enjoy the retractable mic. I usually game alone and just want to to enjoy the sound of the games. So this was nice not having to see a mic out of the corner of my eye. So far I'm happy with everything.

Great upgrade from the pulse 3D. Better sound, mic and battery life. The best feature for me is the ability pair your ps5 and phone at the same time, I can’t express enough how convenient this is. The charger is also a huge pulse.

The best set of headphones I've ever had since I bought the pulse 3D I got to say these make you feel like you're physically in the game whatever you are playing the planner magnetic drivers offer you immersive professional sound quality on the mids the lows the highs as if you were using a $300 pair of gaming headphones and these are a steel the aggressive yet, beautiful futuristic design make some amazing. The ear cups are far better and more comfortable than the pulse 3D also the AI noise reduction on the mic is a big plus followed by the Bluetooth feature something I will not be using as I have their xm5 version to listen to music, but I'm happy it's there as a game changer because now you can press the green button and do a hands-free call while you're still gaming just go ahead and buy the headset you will love the pulse Elite they're amazing.

These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is excellent. It doesn’t fit too tight to cancel outside noises. My only issue is that it sometimes randomly disconnects mid use. Other than that, it’s been a perfect product.

These. Are. Excellent. I am going from the Astro A40s with Mixamp pro and I boxed those up after only 4 hours with these pulse elites. Granted, the game/chat mixer was nice, it wasn’t worth the hassle of dealing with a cable from the ps5 to the mixamp, then a cable from the mixamp to my headset. These elites are comfortable and the 3D audio is ridiculously good. Haven’t had any problems with my teammates in COD when using my mic. And fighting for democracy sounds even better in these!

I’ve been using these for months now, and they have held up! Easy to adjust, lightweight (it’s plastic, but not cheap feeling) and the sound is crisp! You can do so EQ if you want to listen to some different music, or change how games sound. They have an aux, usb -c, Bluetooth, and onboard buttons. You can connect your phone in parallel to the music coming from the system via the usb dongle. The best part: the hanger is the charger!

These sound excellent! These are a steal for what they are. The battery is quite good, as well as the PS Link response time. The planar magnetics are top tier for sound reproduction (studio quality). The fact that these are basically Audezes but sub $500 is wild. Easily one of, if not, my favorite audio peripherals I own.

    Poor Durability

I’ve had the PlayStation Pulse Elite headset for about a year, and while the audio quality is quite good, and the hanging charger is a convenient touch, this headset suffers from a fundamental design flaw: durability. As you can see in the image, the frame has cracked on both sides. This isn’t due to rough handling—just regular use. The plastic frame is simply not built to last. The first crack occurred after 8 months of use. For a premium-priced headset, I expected much better durability. Instead, the structural integrity of this headset is questionable at best. To compare, I recently purchased and switched to another headset, and the difference is night and day. It feels far more premium, with a more solid build and a design that prioritizes longevity. I have no concerns about it breaking the same way the Pulse Elite did.

This has become my favorite set and I’ve owned and I’ve owned quite a few over the years including the SteelSeries Artic 7, Logitech G733, and Astro A50 (gen 4). The overall light weight, sound quality/range/position, and ease of use with the wireless functionality makes it hard to recommend another set over these for PS5 gaming. Yes I would recommend other sets if you’re looking for a wider range of use or if you’re looking for very specific needs, but overall quality and ease of use is this set for me.

I needed a new headset upgrade. Went into best buy and stumbled apon these. Paired them to my PS5 Pro easily. Went into the settings and made a custom audio profile which was easy. Use them any time I’m gaming with no issues to date. Im a very frequent gamer. I have had the headphones now for almost a year with no complaints to state at this time. If you are looking for good gaming headphones these are it.
