I like listening to music I’ve downloaded to my phone and tablet. This makes CD’s obsolete, I purchased this speaker system to get full rich sound at home. I got what I asked for this little speaker is great, an excellent choice and to think this is one of the smaller in this speaker group. Love your music, pick SONY V21 speaker system, almost forgot it also has an FM receiver and CD, and Bluetooth. It will wow you.

This is an awesome machine at this price with great sound and bass which can be adjusted. Two Mics can be used together and they sound good. Although there's no hdmi port but A/V cable can be used to connect it with TV. FM works perfect. Overall a great buy.

If you are looking for a big sound , flexible, yet still portable bluetooth speaker, this speaker really hits the mark. Sound Quality - The speaker produces a great depth of sound - along with solid bass - something that many other speakers fail to do. At maximum volume you can easily fill a room with music that is full of people buzzing and talking. The sound produced is clear and crisp with no distortion even at the highest volume levels. Besides just music, we used this speaker to play an outdoor movie paired with a portable video projector, and even in that setting the sound was impressive. Portability - Despite the size of the unit, it is surprisingly light, while still feeling solidly built, and is comfortable with the side handles to move. Moving this speaker from room to room, or to the back of the truck to take to a party, was not an issue whatsoever . The power cable though is rather short, so you are probably going to want an extension cord handy if you are taking it somewhere that it will not be positioned next to an outlet. Features - The flexibility of this unit is fantastic. It connects to your phone or other bluetooth streaming device through simple pairing. It also can play CD’s, comes with an FM antenna for local radio broadcasts, can take a USB drive that can be navigated right from the speaker, as well as has audio line in if you want to hardwire it to something like a TV that does not work with Bluetooth - it is built for pretty much any audio scenario you may run into. App - There are two apps that can be used with this speaker - the first is for playing music, and controlling the speaker itself, changing songs, and volume levels, or browsing through a CD, the app is very simple to use and requires very little explanation - the second app is the DJ app. It is more of a novelty than anything, but you can produce DJ like sounds, record scratching , add your own beats and sound effects over top of the music. It is pretty neat, and I can see where some will find that a lot of fun to play with at a party, should you want to channel your inner Deadmau5. Extras - It also has 2 inputs that you can use for Microphones should you want to Karaoke - we had some streaming youtube karaoke playing through the speaker with a microphone plugged into the input and it sounded great, and was a lot of fun. The one microphone port can also be used as a guitar input, which sounded far better than I would have expected. It is not going to replace your amp at home, but it does produce a great sound as well, and I am sure would liven up a party if someone had a guitar they wanted to play. This speaker really does what it does well, and is a ton of fun. It is simple to use, is easily taken from place to place, can be used with multiple sound mediums like bluetooth or CD, and has some bells and whistles like the karaoke that make this speaker hard to pass up.

---SETUP--- The setup of this Sony speaker is extremely simple. It really depends on what you want to connect it to. Bluetooth is as simple as finding the signal on your phone. Auxiliary cable, guitar cable, mic cable, or CD are all plug and play. You can even connect it to your TV with RCA cables (red and white) but not with an HDMI. ---FEATURES--- The key feature of this speaker is the loudness and the many things that you can connect to it. From CDs, to mics and guitars, you can connect just about anything and sound will be produced. You can even chain it to other speakers to have them play with more loudness wirelessly. This is a great feature to limit the # of cables that will go connected to each other. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this speaker is astoundingly loud but clear. I kept raising the volume and was afraid my neighbors were going to call and complain about how loud it was. Using a bluetooth connected phone, Youtube videos and Apple Music would play perfectly and never experienced any connectivity issues. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product exceeds my expectations. All features are easy to understand and quickly accessible. I connected my guitar and one mic, remembering my college days for when I used to play covers in bars for money. Back then, I would lug around a huge system, but I can see how this would have made life much easier. I married a singer (choir director) so she tested the mic. She loved it and said it was perfect for performance with a small crowd. No complaints on the guitar from me, as all notes were clearly audible. I like that my bluetooth device stayed connected and could produce a sound at the same time that my guitar was producing a sound. This allowed me to study a new song from my phone while listening to it and playing alongside it. ---VALUE--- The price for the speaker in terms of value should be considered an investment. Based on your needs, it will depend on whether it’s worth it for you or not. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this product for small businesses that want to have a karaoke/open mic night in their establishment or for people who want to perform at local venues but only have to worry about 1 speaker setup. It’s also great for parties, as there’s a party mode included (flashing lights and app controlled DJ sound effects).

This speaker is loud, has great bass. The FM radio antenna is really cool. It is simple to use and the remote is not rocket science to use. I would recommend this to anyone. The only downfall is that it needs to be plugged into wall to function. The sound quality is outstanding and is real nice for small get together’s and parties. It is lightweight and the dj mode and partylight is really cool. And if you get this speaker always run mega bass on because if not you sound quality goes down slightly. But in the end it was worth every penny that I payed for it.

This is exactly what I wanted! I still listen to CD's and this has a CD player while most others don't. My wife enjoys the bluetooth capability and the kids love the fact they can karaoke all night long! This "big" speaker as I call it, has more than ample juice. It gets as loud as I need it to be. I'm old school and I like to listen to my music as if the musician were playing in front of me. I also like that fact I can carry it around from place to place and to every room in the house, plus the patio where I spend most of my free time. If you like music, you just can't go wrong with this product. Love it!!!

Wanted a small system with big sound, and Sony delivered. Perfect for my home gym, great sound quality, massive bass, easy control. It’s bluetooth, a CD player, or usb input so you can listen to all of your new and old music. It’s compact design means it takes up very little floor space. I recommend this device for a home gym, office, patio, pool, or any other situations that require big sound from s compact device.

I was expecting less when we bought this speaker, sound quality is great with decent bass that does not distortion. we bought this speaker to make karaoke nights, it has 3 level echo modes, note level changer and a big plus it also has voice changer that make your voice sound like a mouse, robot, radio and a few more, its really fun and does not sound cheap. bluetooth is great so far, we havent had any problems and it also has a tablet/phone stand. overall the speaker from sony is great you will not be disappointed at all its very loud. it also have rca aux in the back and wireless connectivity to other sony speakers, has a flashing blue light near the speaker that goes along the music.I got this speaker on sale you cant go wrong even if you pay full price.

Got this Sony on sale and for the price it's a fab party speaker. Yes you have to plug in for power but ..so what?! I already have a JBL rechargeable. So I was looking for power, sound and versatility. This Sony has it all. Plus it's not too heavy to take along for the party. Mic input..audio input..CD player....lights ..action! Bluetooth pairs right up. Start rockin! I highly recommend the Sony Music Center app. It has a nice little equalizer that coupled with mega base and my Amazon streaming EQ pumps out copious bass..midrange and highs. Check it out at your store. Buy it. Especially if it's on sale!

I bought this item as an open box at my local store. I was replacing a pretty large boom box that I use at work so my expectations were high. It's pretty noisy at work so the music has to come through loud and clear. At first I have to say I was disappointed with the sound quality. It sounded flat, bass was weak and it just wasn't loud enough. I tinkered with the settings, adjusted the equalizer and BOOM! The thing cranked out solid bass and it got pretty loud. I use the bluetooth feature only. When I connected my iPod it sounded even better. Only thing I dont like is that it has to be plugged in. Other than that it does a good job of blasting my favorite tunes.

Bought this to have at my wife's surprise birthday party...I wasn't sure the sound system that was available would be functioning (as I heard a remodel was on going) so I bought this as a backup...and it didn't disappoint. Totally filled the room with awesome clear sound and bass! She loved it and now it's here to stay. Also has a CD/MP3/FM radio player and we can connect it seamlessly via NFC. I also just noticed that it can pair to other BT capable speakers via party chain!

I bought this unit to primarily connect via RCA and/or Bluetooth to my Audio Technica turntable AT-LP120XBT-USB-BK. I realize there are probably better choices for this application but this seemed to fit my needs. I also liked the CD drive and ability to connect a guitar and/or microphone. Those were selling points vs. other speakers. This speaker runs on AC only so there is no internal battery. That was not an issue for me as it is going to be used indoors near a power outlet. PROS - Quick and easy Bluetooth connectivity. - Decent sound quality. I prefer "Movie 1" or "Fiesta" Sound Field modes which are accessible on the remote. - Remote control unit with numerous functions. - Connects to my AT turntable via RCA and/or Bluetooth for added versatility. - Textured finish to reduce scratches. CONS - Overall unit feels a little cheap. This includes the buttons. I expected a little more from the Sony name. - Blue LED speaker light does not stay on constantly. Even when not in Sync mode it flickers with the sound. - Bass tends to sound hollow. I assume this is due to the plastic construction of the unit. - Large volume knob is too flat and a little difficult to turn/adjust due to gloss finish on sides and texture only on the top. - No battery That's it so far... Music is a huge part of my life and I love the choices you have with this. Adjust the bass and treble. I use it mainly with Bluetooth, quick and easy set-up. Has CD player!! (showing my age) Sound is loud enough for me, but I have seen several of my friends go over and try to turn it up louder - and I'm like...it's all the way up.

She loves it! The sound is great. The size is great for small spaces. The light on it are great for a party fill. Best comes with a microphone, cd, Bluetooth,has radio and so many other features!!!

I bought this initially for my garage when working outside. For my 3 car garage (720 sq ft) it's amply loud. Impressive audio and fullness for just one speaker system. I also like the styling and controls. Easy to setup bluetooth. No issues. This is not a $1000 speaker so if audio quality is a real priority but at the sale price of $199 it'd be hard to disappoint at that price point. Worth looking into if you have a need.

It's not a terribly fancy Karaoke machine. The voice effects are great fun for the kids. It's able to go quite loud. I have ElectroVoice ZLX12's and this is capable of reaching about 1/2 volume of those, and they are $400 professional PA speakers. The sound quality is good and the typical Sony style of quality components, nice finishes, and lots of different functions/interfaces. If you are not looking for a screen with words (use your tablet or phone like I do) then the bluetooth, different voice modulations, and sound quality make this a solid buy.

Got this for my PE classes since we were using a super old one with a dial tuner (ugh). This one is super easy to use, has a good readout, and I love that it has the radio since it’s location makes internet usage for music a bit spotty. I bought another from the super bass series to create a wireless party chain which is amazing since usually half my class is outside and half is inside (and primary reason for purchase along with FM radio). Only down side is the FM doesn’t work with the chain, only Bluetooth music.

Been using it for a few days now. Surprisingly very good range speakers. Sound is very clear and plenty loud. Bought primarily to use as karaoke system. I recommend spending the money on quality mics for karaoke. Speaker works great for karaoke, you can control microphone volume when karaoking. I tested the bluetooth with iphone, apple TV, bluetooth enabled laptop, very satisfied with the connection and sound quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to set up karaoke at home.

We bought this speaker for my daughters birthday party. It is very user friendly and has great sound! I was impressed with all of the features! I went to Best Buy in search of just a small Bluetooth speaker. I went in with a budget of under $50 and came out with this Sony speaker that was way over budget but worth every dollar! A couple family members have purchased the same thing now because they liked mine so much!
