I decided to give it a shot because I was putting together an outdoor party. ThIs speaker rocks! The volume and clarity is just excellent. One speaker filled my entire yard with clear vocals and bass. I added a second unit shortly after I purchased the first one to create a stereo pair. Don't even hesitate. Just buy it! But I must warn you... This speaker is LOUD! Your neighbors will be a little disturbed. Be sure to invite them over to enjoy too.

The speaker has great sound and a really cool light show. It also has a ton of features including karaoke. What you need to know going in is that you have to download two different Sony apps to get the most out of the product. One of the apps receives less than a 3 rating on the Apple App Store. The main app also has unrestricted web access, so I wouldn’t recommend this for children. The big drawback for me is that’s it’s not cordless. In the online specs it said it was rechargeable, but it has to be plugged into a wall outlet to work.

This system has plenty of power, and I really enjoy it. If anything, it is overkill on volume and bass, which is all the better. When I turned it on almost full blast in the house, my wife came running in from the backyard to turn it down because it was rattling the lights on our deck. I've seen some other reviews mention lack of volume and bass, but I think that must be an input device error or something. This thing has a pretty big subwoofer, and it has no problem shaking the whole house. I mostly listen to electronic music and so enjoy plenty of bass. However, this is the only system I've had where I usually keep the bass lowered. I only turn the bass on full if it's a really good track that I feel the neighbors will enjoy as well. The only negative about this product is it usually takes about one to two minutes to get a good connection via Bluetooth to my phone. Not sure which is fault, since the speaker connects fine to my laptop right away, and my phone never has trouble connecting to other Sony speakers. Sony products have always sounded as one of the best to me, and this system reinforces that.

Saw this on special and decided to get it. The sound on it is very good. The highs are clear as is the lows. Like that you can use usb and cd functions also. Haven't figured out the hand gesture or dj functions but its an added bonus. The lights on then are very cool. The only downside in my opinion is I would have liked the wheels to bi a bit bigger and It would have been nice to be able to charge, but I understand because of the size I know it's not possible.

It can be used as a stand-alone speaker system, or it can be easily linked to a TV or other sound system. It is portable (built-in wheels) for easy movement from room to room. And for people with kids, or just adult weirdos, there's a karaoke system with psychedelic lighting.

The only downside I really see is that it always has to be plugged in. Most things are wireless now-a-days. Don’t know why they couldn’t make this wireless. JK. It’s really powerful. If it was wireless it would probably go through it’s power in like an hour playtime. Overall, love it.

Awesome for karaoke

This is an awesome speaker for music and karaoke. I have a Bose sound bar and subwoofer in my living room and connecting this speaker with my existing sound system just took it to the next level. It's loud and the sound fills the room. It's so loud you can hear the sound from outside the house. It takes some setup to get the best sound when connecting to other speakers, but but absolutely worth the effort. We use this speaker for karaoke by Chromecasting to our TV which is connected to our Bose speakers via Hdmi Arc. Then we connected this Sony speaker to our Bose through bluetooth and grouped the speakers through the Bose music app on our phones. We bought a pair of inexpensive microphones from Amazon and plugged in the mic adaoper into the speaker's mic input. Super fun speaker for your living room and the led lights are a cool feature.

Not only does it sound terrific, but it also has flashing lights, bongo/drums, FM tuner, it's blue tooth enabled, splash resistant, and so much more! I highly recommended this speaker. It's well worth the money, and you won't regret it!

Not only does it look mad but when you turn this thing up it really blast you away! I love it!! Its sounds so nice and clear, and has features that im still trying to figure out. Its a great party speaker with cool lights! The hand gestures is neat once you get the hang of it. All in all i wanted to upgrade from a pyle tower speaker that i had that i thought was loud, but OMG! This monster blows it away in every category! Im glad i purchased it. Im sure some people will always have some negative things to say about it. I haven't found anything that disappoints me. For a bluetooth speaker this thing is amazing! Great addition to my man cave.
