I bought the laptop so that I could sit on my couch and do my budgeting, banking, and gaming. The laptop is a very elegant pink with a little bit of a pearlized look. The camera isnt the best quality and that would be the only thing I woud say bad about this laptop. I ordered this back in October and have had it since with no problems or issues. I do suggest buying a USB mouse for easier movement, the pad mouse can be annoying. The processing is fast and connections are smooth. I would recommend this laptop to anyone, this laptop is sufficient I wouldn't worry about spending extra money for other "perks" this laptop is perfect. One thing to remember as with any laptop be sure to save any work, if the battery is low and you dont connect to a charger it will turn off on you.

This is a big laptop, so moving it around and having it in my lap is not the greatest, but I wanted the bigger screen, so........ The pink color is nice, the touchpad is terrible. I can't get it to work the way I want, so I just use the usb mouse (that I bought separately) all the time. I think it's crazy that the touchpad is off center, so that's disappointing. Also, the starter version of Word/Excel, is not so great. I created my first spreadsheet and then, nothing.....I saved my first spreadsheet, but can't find word or excel on the computer at all! So, I'm unable to create other worksheets or documents. All I needed were a few, so the starter would be perfect. But I can't find it now.....I'm not a techie tho, so maybe just me? All in all, good computer for my needs.

I originally bought this computer to keep up with my school work & to keep in contact (Skype) with a former boyfriend who had moved out of state for work (I'm a full time college student). This one was not available in stores but when I saw the color online I knew it had to be mine. The display has crisp, stunning quality picture, it automatically detects available Wifi connections near and around you, connects to the internet FAST & the webcam itself is pretty good for Skype, Facebook & Tumblr. The laptop itself is textured all over, which is awesome because it can't get nasty fingerprint smudges on it. The keyboard is nice and soft, and I love the ability to magnify or minimize web pages or photos that I may be looking at (you can magnify photos up to pretty large scale and they still look good- not pixelated or blurry.) It has several USB ports, 3mm jack for headphones or microphone and HDMI port as well (connect to TV or gaming device.) One thing that made me really excited about this laptop was its ability to connect to a PS3 for up close gaming as opposed to sitting on a couch far from a tv. The laptop is truly baby Pink. The picture displayed on this site is close to it, but not nearly as pretty as in real life. The only thing I dont like about this laptop is that the sound quality could be better. Its not bad at all by any means, but i prefer my movies and music loud. I downloaded the VLC media player online so that I could watch movies & whatnot on my laptop, and the VLC player has an additional volume bar which makes sound quality way better. This laptop has also been good to me for DJing many parties. I would buy this laptop again in a heartbeat if anything were to happen to mine, extremely good quality for the price!! ** Also make note, this laptop does NOT come with Powerpoint installed. I recommend you buy the Microsoft Office Home & Student (i used 2007) bundle to install on this laptop. I needed Powerpoint and Excel for school and neither of those programs are pre installed.

I am obviously not very tech savvy considering I bought this computer based on it being pink. However, its really easy to use, seems to perform well, and even prettier in real life. The mouse is kinda of annoying sometimes, but I'm getting used to it. I also regret not getting the smaller, newer one, I thought I need a screen and keyboard this big, but think I could have lived without it.

I love the color, and everything about it!!! It's fast, can multi-task, and much more. The first day the mouse pad didn't realy work. This happened to everyone I know that had the same computer but after the first day our mouse pad worked great!

This is my first Sony. and I really liked this. comparing with my previous laptops (both Toshiba) it has really nice colour. performance is OK, buttons are soft. LIKE

I got this for Christmas cause my netbook decided to die. Its so fast! I can import a cd and watch videos online at the same time and there is no lag at all!! I heard the touch pad didnt work for some people but it worked perfectly fine for me

I bought this computer because I loved the color! It was so cute! I had it for about a year and then the screen completely went out! I lost everything on my computer, brought it in to get fixed and found out it would cost 500-800 dollars to fix! I loved the computer the year I had it, but then it was nothing but problems. It would constantly freeze, and I found out that this was not the first time this had happened, and that it was a very common thing in sonycomputers. Buy at your own risk.

10 minutes after i turned on my laptop for the 1st time, my screen went into a scramble... kinda like when you change a changen and there is nothing on that channel... And there is no way of clearing the screen unless I turn it off...I did this moltiple times... after some reasearch, it looks like Sony has had many issues with screens... ugh... I wrote this review simply to let everyone know what the issue i had with it.. I wil be exchanging it and hopefully my next one won't have this problem cuz i LOVE the look and hard drive...
