Others have mentioned it, but these headphones are like the thoroughbreds of portable audio gear. I've had mine for about five years now and they are still going strong. Very clear sound, extremely durable, and the cord is the longest out of the basic headphones I've owned. They are not water resistant which I feel should be of more importance in modern headphones considering how many will use a set like these in strenuous, sweaty activity. Although, I've worn these through many workouts and many downpours and they still work like the first day I bought them. The only gripe I've encountered thus far are the behind-the-ear hooks which will dig into the ear after being worn for over an hour. It's not a major problem but it is the only reason I've shorted them one star. They are well worth the price and, honestly, will last longer than you actually WANT them to.

I've had a pair of these for a couple years now, and I am still extremely impressed with their overall quality. The speakers clip independently to each ear with a wire hanging between them, which eliminates any bulk or hassle from plastic bands in most earphone models that aren't buds. The ear clips are spring-loaded, and rotate out a few degrees to make sliding your ears into them incredibly easy, and they wear comfortably. The aesthetics are simple yet very stylish, with the two sets of interchangeable caps having great color and finish, and being extremely scratch-resistant. The cords attached are a fine quality, but the outer material feels almost sticky, and they seem substantially more prone to tangles than most headphone cords. As for the most important aspect of any audio equipment, these 'phones reproduce sound with more clarity, richness, and resonance than anything within their price-range. These are not high-end, audiophile-grade, multi-hundred dollar headphones; these are $15-$20 headphones, or in other, plain and simple words, darn cheap. But if you're someone who's only ever shopped for headphones under $40, you may just be fooled. The sound is crisp. The bass is surprisingly powerful for the small size. But what REALLY impresses is the crystalline audio clarity. If you've never splurged on higher-end 'phones before, then in all honesty, you're missing a lot of what your music REALLY sounds like. These little buggers will reproduce sounds you've never heard before in your music, whether it be through your MP3 player's pack-in buds or your megawatt home theater system-- and without the requisite splurge! Many good speakers and audio systems can blow out a nice, heavy rumble of base; these can sound like bass chords vibrating. It's highly satisfying to hear your favorite rock/metal band playing, with the guitars pounding out hard and heavy, that deep base resonating through loudly, and then suddenly the vocals pierce through, crystal clear, as if in total disregard of that thick wall of bass and heavy guitar's existence whatsoever, and then subtle echoes and other effects you've never picked up on before chide in as well in spite of it all. Once again, these definitely aren't what you could expect to match a $100+ pair of high-quality sound domes. But with a price at the very lower edge of where you can listen to music without cringing, these may just be the best headphones in the world by virtue of their exceptional value.

Well, everyone else that reviews these headphones all say how they are the best, but let me burst their bubble. These headphones produce a fairly good sound quality and a good bass, especially for the price. But everything after that is just shot to pieces. They are extremely uncomfortable to wear around your ear, and they feel like they are always going to slip off. The extra cord is also a pain and leaves you with alot of cord hanging around and getting in your way. I like to mow the lawn and work out with headphones and these just dont stay on. The only way id recommend them is if you just want to sit on the couch all day and listen to music. OTHERWISE, DONT BUY THESE.

I use these walking around NYC all the time. They are NOT noise canceling, but that's perfect because I can hear the subway announcements. They have a rich, full sound that is fantastic for the price. The wire is long, so I can put my ipod in my pocket or bag. The only problem I've had is that I get the wire caught in turnstiles, but that's more a "me" problem than anything else. These are really comfortable, and a great change from earbuds that fall out all the time.

These headphones were pretty nice when I first bought them. They're cool to use when you want to half listen to something and they're easy to cover, but only if you have a hat. They're still in use after 6 months, so that's great. But they are a bit slippery sometimes, because they don't securely attach to your head well, it's not good to use during rigorous running and exercise. And I think the plastic thing that attaches to your back ear becomes a little wobbly after awhile. I do get headaches sometimes after 2-3 hours, but they'll last longer than other over-the-head headphones. I guess it's something to expect from a $15-$20 price range.

I bought a pair about 7 years ago. There were perfect up until they just wore out. (the wires inside connecting the speaker frayed) I decided to buy a new pair because they were so awesome. I mean the most i can usually get out of a pair of earphones is about a month before they break, so having a pair last 7 years is amazing to me. They are very comfortable and sound very nice. i use them everyday for music and gaming.

I bought these headphones because the in-the-ear style would hurt my ears after awhile. They sound very good and hold onto your ears securely with a spring loaded clip. I have worn these for hours while jogging and other activities with no issues.

If you can't stand in-the-ear headphones, these are a great alternative. They are discreet when wearing and while they do seem to have alot of wire they do not tangle as easliy as other headphones. Users who complained about them not fitting might need to pay close attention to the spring-loaded over the ear clip. It needs to be pulled back, placed over the ear, and then adjusted to fit by pushing the spring forward. All of this is easy to do with one hand after you're familiar with it. Another plus is that these headphones fit wearers of all sizes - including kids! My kids were always trying to steal mine, so I got them each a pair of their own!

I love these, they are just perfect. I hate the in-ear headphones and the headband ones. It has great sound and comfort. They fit perfectly.They might not be considered noise cancelling, but I think they are. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

Bought these to use instead of airline headphones, and for that they worked very well. Good sound if you are not moving around a lot. Now, if you move around much, then they tend to come loose. As a result I settle for those irritating ear-buds when I'm outside. Otherwise, I'd rather use these, I just have a little trouble keeping them on when I'm really active.

If you are annoyed with ear buds and headphones wth the band at the top, then these are the ones for you. They are easy to use, durable, and are made by a trustworthy brand. I have had them for two years and they are still functioning like they were when I first bought them. Would highly reccomend them to anyone who asked.

They produce good sound but the fit is not secure so some of the sound escapes due to the ill fit.

These headphones work great, only problem is I had to cut the rubber off to get them to work with my iPhone, but that's a small price to pay, and they work with everything else just fine. All in all a great purchase.
