A tremendous improvement over prior digital music players I've had in the past. I wish I knew about the Sony Digital Walkman before I bought my last unit. I took the SD card from my previous player and put it in the Sony and WOW! Night and day. Bass response, separation, you name it, it improved. Two minor critiques: the touch screen is very sensitive so the locking feature is a must. Also, do not understand why the database needs to refresh every time the unit is turned on, but it refreshes quickly.

It is very pleasant to have it in hand. But because I have problem with small print it was a little too difficult for me to use. I've used different Sony mp3s for many years and always loved them because they were easy, but this one was difficult. I returned it.

Great sound and physical form. The touchscreen works well. As noted in some reviews, each time you turn it on it needs to create the database. It's not a long time, but it is a bit annoying. I think I may have gotten the last new one on the planet!

I use this player during my morning walk, riding in my car and working around the house. Love it!

It is a nice music played feels like good quality with the metal casing. Easy to operate but there are two down sides 1. audio through any speaker has a weird sound. 2. it says it has blue-tooth capabilities but it wouldn't connect to any of my speakers/ headphones.

I only use this for audiobooks. Presently it has about 20 unabridged titles stored. This is my second Sony 16gig mp3 player. Although this updated version has many more options, Bluetooth, etc. I preferred the previous Walkman because it had a rotary dial as opposed to the touch screen. The screen is quite sensitive and often shifts to different books, chapters, etc. while I am turning it off, on, adjusting the volume, etc. The previous 16gig was no longer available when I purchased this one.

With a an added memory card, can store my entire CD collection on this in lossless format.

The Walkman was a gift to my husband. He loves the Walkman, the sound quality, the storage capacity, etc. Some limitations exist, but he is learning workarounds. My 4 would really be a 4.5 if allowed...taking off for the limited information on how to do certain functions on the walkman.

The last Walkman I had for 14 years. Still works great.

Just love this product, the ease in loading cd's on to this is awesome and it is so easy to use

I purchased this, but decided to return it. The build and weight was nice, just thought it was a little too small. Also, I was having issues with album art since I use iTunes. You'll also need to buy a separate memory card.

I was tired of the music on my phone being interrupted by notifications, so coming back to a dedicated music player is so refreshing. With bluetooth, it's just as convenient as a phone. I also like being able to listen to hi-res formats as well.

I love this device especially for the price! Easy programmimg of tunes once everything is downloaded.

It arrived on time. So for I am pleased with it performance. Seems well built. Advise downloading the manual.
