I recently purchased these earbuds and have been very satisfied with them. The sound is clear and defined with plenty of bass, and the volume is better than other true wireless earbuds I've had. After losing one of them after a couple of weeks, I decided to buy a new set because I found them to be worth it. My only criticism would be that the supplied ear tips didn’t work well for me, which I replaced with foam ones that improved the fit and made them sound even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend these earbuds to anyone looking for a good quality pair.

I get new earbuds every 1-2 years (love the protection plan). It was time to replace my Liberty 2 pros. I initially replaced them with the Soundcore Life Note 3i’s but after using them for about a week I noticed the vast difference between the Life Note line of products and the flagship Liberty line. The Life Notes didn’t have the auto pause when removing an earbud. I didn’t even notice how much I loved that feature until I didn’t have it anymore. If you’re trying to decide between the lesser expensive Life Notes or going ahead and springing for the nicer Libertys, I think you’ll be much happier if you get the Liberty 4s. I tried saving some money and getting the cheaper ones, but I just ended up returning them so I could get these. What surprised me the most about the Liberty 4s is the HearID personalized EQ. I went through the whole process where it will create a custom EQ just for your ears. I didn’t think it would actually make that much difference, but it really did. I genuinely prefer the custom HearID EQ over all the others. I think it’s so cool that I was able to customize my music to my ears to make it sound awesome just for me. The magnet in the case is also stronger than my old Liberty 2 pros which I like. The buds snap into place much better which was an issue I had with the Liberty 2p. They’re all around solid earbuds and you can’t go wrong with these. They fit well, the noise cancellation works extremely well. They sound great. You can’t go wrong with these in my opinion. I do think the heart rate sensor is pointless, I wish they would’ve left that out and just made them a bit cheaper, but I did compare it to my Apple Watch and it was accurate. I’m digging these Liberty 4s

I’m a big soundcore fan, was previously into Samsung earbuds. Bought these right away when they came out. These things are comfortable, intuitive and sound great. I think Apple wants you to buy their AirPods, so sometimes connectivity and switching between calls and speaker can be a bit annoying, but that’s more of an Apple thing in my opinion.

Recently damaged my AirPods and well I decided to try something different this time around. I did a bit of research on a few earpieces and came across the soundcore liberty 4. I read some reviews good and bad but I decided to take a chance and go with the soundcore liberty 4. Let me say I don’t regret the decision. I love the sound and adapts to the surrounding outside noise without the volume blasting in your ears. Best buy I’ve done this year! Would definitely buy another pair in the future.

I love those headphones. I was skeptical at first, cause I had got the sony S links before. Returned them for these. I love the fact that there are so many ear pieces to choose from. Also the you can choose air modes like: noise canceling, normal, or transparency. The best part is you can use either ear bud one at a time. I can only keep one ear bud in at work so it helps to be able to switch them up. The wireleas charging case can refresh your buds within 10minutes. And you can go a get good distance from your phone before they drop.

Takes some adjustment to the settings and eartips but otherwise great sound, noise cancelling and fit. They do get loose sometimes but the right tips and just putting them in right fixes that issue for me. I use them at work sometimes with dirty hands but they clean real easy and have easy controls.

I would like to start off by saying that I have tested out multiple earbuds and headphones by Soundcore and I have yet to come across a pair that I did not like and the Liberty 4 was no exception. The Liberty 4 are Active Noice Cancelling earbuds are perfect for everyday use, but they just got better. The Liberty 4 now have a built-in heart rate sensor and even better spatial audio. These earbuds can now track your heart rate, calories burned, and even your stress level. The earbuds are very comfortable to wear, great fit, which can be adjusted with the provided ear tips, and most importantly sound amazing with their Hi-Res audio, deep punchy bass, clear treble and mids, Active Noise Cancellation, transparency mode and overall, just crisp, clear and amazing sound quality. I have been using these earbuds for about a week now in variety of uses such gaming, watching movies, taking phone calls, and most importantly listen to some beats and they sound amazing no matter what your usage may be. So, let’s go over some of the features, PROS and CONS of the New Liberty 4 by Anker. Features: • Comfortable and Light Weight- These earbuds are comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time. The ear tips are silicone that provide a good seal and provide all day comfort. I was able to wear these while working out, and every day use watching movies, listening to music and answering phone call. I had these on for about 6 hours straight without any discomfort or issues. • Active Noise Cancelling – So, normally standard noise cancelling technology cancels out ambient sound, but Soundcore has developed what they call HearID ANC. What Hear ID does, it analyzes your ear and the in-ear pressure and uses that to create a custom-tailored noise and ambient sound reduction. The HearID will automatically adjust the noise cancellation to the level of noise around you. have tested out other expensive brands of headphone and the noise cancellation on these is just as good, if not better. • Hi-Res Audio and Spatial Sound – The Hi-Res and LDAC music compatibility makes the music come alive. If you subscribe to music services such as Tidal, which supports LDAC truly makes for more of an enjoyable experience. LDAC feature allows for three times the data transmission from the device to the earbuds. More data allows more highs and lows and for you to have the best audio experience as possible. I have a subscription to Tidal music and I must say that the sound quality and the audio resolution is much better and makes for a much more enjoyable experience. The Spatial sound is an amazing feature. This feature literally makes the music sound like its coming from all around you. You have the option to choose between fixed or head tracking in spatial sound. The fixed audio option makes the audio seem likes its coming from all around you, and the head tracking, which is really cool, moves the audio move from left to right and up and down depending on your head movements. It truly is an experience. • Charging and Battery Life – The case can be charged either wirelessly or with a provided USB-C cable. The earbuds have about a 9-hour battery life but that can vary depending on your use. The ANC does affect your battery life, but no worries the case can provide you with about 28 hours of charging, or about 3 full charges. • Soundcore App – Even though the earbuds can be used without any application, I highly recommend that you download the Soundcore app if you want to fully utilize the features available on the earbud. The app allows you to choose from many different preset equalizer settings, customize the HearID settings, allows you access the heartrate and stress detection. The soundcore app is truly a must for you to unlock the full protentional of the amazing headphones. PROS: • Hi-Resolution Auido • Spatial Audio • Ability to simultaneously connect to 2 devices at once • Heart Rate sensor • Amazing Noise Cancellation • Comfortable even with extended wear • Multiple Presets and CustomEqualizers CONS: • I could not find anything that I was not pleased with on these earbuds Overall, these are probably the best earbuds you can get that offer premium sound and features at a very non price point. As I had mentioned before, I had the privilege to test out multiple Soundcore earbuds and headphone and there has not been a single one that I was not pleased with. The Anker Soundcore series just keeps getting better and better.

Initial thoughts... Very nice buds, but are they really able to compete with Apple AirPods Pro? In order to answer that, I must first set the stage by saying that this a subjective opinion and while others may agree, certainly others will disagree. I find this to be especially true when comparing ANYTHING to Apple since Apple has such a loyal following. End of the day, for me, yes, these absolutely compete with [and in many area's] beat the AirPods. My wife has her goofy Apple Eco-system and she is the first to disagree [of course] with me, but that is in my opinion because anything outside of her Apple-world is also out of her comfort zone. One of the nicest features these Soundcore has is the ability to switch between ANC [Active Noise Cancellation]. I was amazed when switching from "Transparency Mode", or "Normal" mode to ANC, the gym we go to just disappeared from a sound standpoint. The echo in the locker room, the ever present gym overhead music and the buzz of conversations, almost 100% gone. Walking through the gym, same... Impressive. Watching "The Sopranos" while on the elliptical was great! No background noise and the sound was impressive. The placement of the sounds as compared to the screen was great. Compete with Apple? Absolutely! Beat Apple? I say yes, the wife says no. But me being an Android guy, I'll take Soundcore all day long. As for music, again, these are an excellent choice! Powerful bass, smooth midrange and evenly delivered highs. Listening to Slipknot's "Yen" was a new experience. The fade in had great placement and movement, the bridge, being delivered in stereo and moving bassline L to R, the multi-layered textured guitars... These took an already excellent song to other-worldly. Same with several other Slipknot, 5FDP, Meshuggah, Korn and A7X songs. As a former professional guitarist, I had to listen to Polyphia. Wow! "G.O.A.T" was just stunning. The bass was so punchy, and again, the multi-layered, dissonant guitars moving in stereo, ANC isolated to the soundstage of your skull... Fantastic. The case is nice, clean, solid and simple. Holds plenty of charge for more than a few 1.5 hour treks to the gym. The buds are snapped into place by a positive magnet. I will say the Apple's may have a slightly higher quality "feel", but I wouldn't justify the additional cost to be in-line with the perceived "feel". The app, was clean, simple, and well layed out. You can easily change modes between ANC, Normal And Transparency. Transparency is a GREAT choice if you are out for a ride or a jog or a walk... You can still enjoy your music while also being well aware of what is going on around you. Great feature. With the app, you can also change EQ/listening modes. Kind of a cool feature but most people will probably find their favorite and leave it there. These also do offer heart rate monitoring. Again, kind of cool, but for me, not really needed. I already have a fitness tracker that does that but for what it's worth, these are just as accurate. I also like the fact that if you are listening and want to chat with someone, you can pull out a bud and it will pause playback. As for the "Almost Perfect"... I'm not a small guy. The largest silicone cups they have are right on the verge of being too small for me. I understand that is on me, not Soundcore, but it would be nice if they offered a larger size. While doing cardio and weights with a bit of a sweat, they are just on the verge of feeling like they are falling out. I am constantly having to push them in. Other than that, these are a fantastic choice. And if you have an Apple-snooty spouse, great choice to flex on their buds ;).

THE BREAKDOWN: The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 are great at blocking sound, and they do have great sound thanks to the dual dynamic drivers in each earpiece. They are also reasonably priced. They offer high-res-capable LDAC codec support and with the app you can customize your EQ. Each earpiece has a 9.2mm and 6.0mm dynamic drivers which work together to deliver a frequency range of 20Hz to 40KHz with an impedance of 16 ohms. The Bluetooth 5.3 supports LDAC, SBC and AAC but not AptX. The way you control these earbuds is much like the AirPods by pressing on the stems of the device and you actually get audio tones to confirm your actions. A single press controls playback, a double press switches between noise cancelling or transparency or calls. Three times on the left earpiece goes a track backward and, on the right, it goes forward one song. You can add features by using the app like volume and voice assistant. Being an avid runner/crossfitter the IPX rating which is IPX4 is a little underwhelming. So, it can handle small splashes but not submersion or rinsing them. Just a note that the IPX4 rating does not carry over to the charging case. The charging case is one of the best features in my opinion. When you slide the lid back the LED lights glow and light up the ear tips. The case is a good size and easy to grip and open. It does have a USB-C charging on the back, and it does support wireless charging via the Qi standard. The earbuds themselves last around 9 hours with noise cancelling off and around 7 with it active. You add in the case that will give you an additional 19 hours of charge. So, overall, very pleased with the batter capabilities on this one. Charging the earbuds for 15 minutes give you about 3 hours of use. The app is very well made with a ton of features. One of sections that interested me was the wellness section. You can measure you heart rate and monitor the time you spend exercising with the earbuds. In the settings you can run in-ear tests, toggle for in-ear detection and change auto power off option just to name a few. The customizable EQ is a really great feature! The noise cancellation was not the best I have ever had nor was it the worst. I think it fell somewhere in the middle. PRO’s: - Great battery life - Decent noise cancelling - Great app with customizable features - Interesting spatial audio CON’s: - Only IPX4 rated SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for a device like this.

The first thing I want to say about these earphones is, they are outstanding and the best sounding earbuds I have used. First, the fit is very comfortable, and they stay in place while exercising. Soundcore provides you with several different size ear tips for the best fit. When wearing them the fit creates a good seal to your ear and helps to keep outside noise from coloring your listening experience. Features wise, there are a lot packed into these small earphones. Not only do they play music, but they are geared for the health of the person using them. Liberty 4’s App has a section called Soundcore Wellness, that can track your heart rate, stress level and blood oxygen level and show daily, weekly, etc. The health portion of the app is a great feature for when I am working out and I want to maintain healthy levels. As for the sound, the Liberty has that covered too. Through the application you can customize the sound for special immersion, use the preset sound settings or customize the eq to your liking. With the HearID feature you can personalize how you hear sound from the Liberty 4s. There are three settings for noise Ambient sound settings, Noise Cancellation, Normal and Transparency. These have a full clean sound that doesn’t seem possible with their size or shape. Bass is full and the overall sound is outstanding. There is a charging case for storing and charging the earbud that is 2¼” x 2½” x 1”. The charging case allows you to charge the earbuds for up to twenty-nine hours. Fully charged, the Liberty 4s will play up to nine hours. There is a status light on the case that shows when the case is being charged As for controls on the earbuds, each has three that can be customized to your preferences. depending on what function you are using, the button use will change. For example when you are answering a call the buttons control answer and ending the call, etc. For my daily use with the Liberty 4s, I have been extremely happy with the overall sound quality and features when exercising and highly recommend them.

Soundcore Liberty 4 are great new wireless earbuds from Anker. The buds have a stem similar to Apple Airpods. They store neatly in a magnetic case with a slide top the clear ear cushions light up when the top of the case is opened making them easy to see even in darker places. The design of the case makes it less likely they will inadvertently fall out upon opening. The earbuds have great sound using the ACAA™️ 3.0 Coaxial Acoustic System with dual drivers you can customize the Active Noise Cancelling using HearID in the soudcore app. Hear ID plays a series of tones at different levels and you respond whether you hear it or not creating a noise canceling profile just for you. I found it improved the sound for me. There is 360° Immersive Spatial Audio with Music and Movie Modes this does work to keep you centered in the audio content and to allow the should to stay centered even while changing head position thanks to built in gyroscopes. These earbuds offer multipoint connection meaning you can connect them to your phone and computer at the same time and switch between them seamlessly. There are controls in the stems of each earbud that can be customized but default to single press for play/pause, double press for ambient sound for both and triple press next for right and previous for the left bud. I used the earbuds for several phone calls and the sound was great the callers reported the sound from the microphones was great with no dropouts like I have experienced from other earbuds. The earbuds have support for Bluetooth 5.3 ,AC, LDAC, and SBC codecs . If you use LDAC playtime will be reduced. I found the soud response for music great using HearID ANC setting. Anker has included several size ear tips to fit your ear and provide the best sound. I found the double layer tips very comfortable. These earbuds include a Heart Rate Sensor in the right earbud. You access the heat rate through the Sounddcore App using the wellness tab. There is a stress monitor and an option to turn on a neck posture monitor. There are even a few guided walking and running activities along with a custom activity you can create. This is unique to these earbuds and Anker has added additional value with this if you are a runner. You can turn off the heart rate monitoring from the app. The earbuds have up to 9 hours of play time depending on volume I got about 4hr 15 min you can use the case to recharge the earbuds for up to 28 hrs of use, full recharge takes 1 hour in the case, 15 minutes to fast charge them for 3 hours of additional play. The case itself takes 2 hours to fully charge. Anker lists some examples of typical play time in their Q and A by their testing listed here. Normal Mode: Up to 9 hours on a single charge/28 hours with the charging case. Noise Cancelling Mode: Up to 7 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case. Transparency Mode: Up to 7 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case. Call: Up to 5 hours on a single charge/15 hours with charging case. The Soundcore app is used to access the settings of the Liberty 4. The wellness tab allows you to see your heart rate and stress level. You can switch the listening modes, manually adjust the EQ, take the ANC HearID test. It also allows you to update the firmware. I had no problems with the App on Android 13. The one missing option is a locate for a lost earbud. Overall I would say Soundcore has produced a great earbud with the Liberty 4 with incredible value for the price. This earbud is certainly a what I consider premium.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds have turned out to be a quality set of earbuds. Note: if you get these, don’t try to pry the case open like dummy me. This is not a traditional hinged case. Instead, the top of the case slides back — kind of like a sunroof (I'll try adding a picture). I didn’t do any damage…but I was close to prying this open with a small screwdriver when my thumb just got in the right position and it slid open. Whew! It’s actually a cool feature. The app was extremely easy to navigate with the different sound settings (a number of presets or you can customize the equalizer). Personally, I like the Immersive Sound setting. The only negative I experienced was that after my initial setup and pairing, there was a distinct popping sound in the left earbud when trying to produce a bass thump — and this was with the volume at maybe 65%. I changed songs and it was still there. Before calling customer support, I decided to dump the app, reinstall it, and go through the entire setup process again. No more popping. We shall see what the future holds, but I’m wondering if there was a glitch in the bluetooth connection. Not sure… As all earbuds nowadays, there are multiple sizes of silicone plugs so you can get the right feel. Also available is the heart monitor. Great when out for a brisk walk while listening to your favorite tunes. With the High Resolution Audio, heart monitor, and what I found was excellent battery life, the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds, I feel, can hold their own against more expensive buds on the market.

The list of quality products from Anker keeps on coming! This set of wireless earbuds is no exception. Quality sound, useful features, well-designed software and a few interesting quirks. They aren’t perfect, but I think most people will find them well worth the asking price. The heart rate tracker is a cool feature that you don’t see too often, especially at this price. You can record and monitor your heartrate with the Soundcore app. Although I think this is an interesting little feature, it’s not something I find all that useful. The earbuds don’t sit too reliably in the ear and tend to fall out during strong movement. Also, I couldn’t find any information on water resistance so their lifespan for workouts might be questionable. Although the quality of the product is adequate, the fit and comfort could use some improvement. My first issue is with the overall general comfort. Wearing them for long periods of time created a bit of discomfort. My biggest issue is with the ear tips. They don’t stick adequately onto the earbuds. I had one of them come off in my ear and had to fish it out with a pair of tweezers. Long wear comfort aside, the touch controls are easy to use and the case has a unique and attractive design. Overall, they are well designed and feature rich. There’s room for design improvements and it would be nice to see some better liquid resistance. A solid turnout.

these are highly underrated ear buds. I have the first Airpod Pro's and I feel these are better and of course less expensive. music and video/movies sound great on these. They connect easily to my iphone, when working out I like to use 1 bud so I can hear others around me I have no problems. music sounds so full with these, and there is more bass than the original airpods. they for me fit better than airpods in my ears. Battery life is so much better than my airpods, and taking calls are easy and effortless. the noise cancelling to me is good enough, but I hardly use it. the app is good to fine tune the buds, shows battery life, you can charge via usb-c or wireless. the case is not bulky mto carry in a pocket. for the price these are a no brainer.

I tried a pair of Bose earbuds first and thought that they didn’t have the volume I wanted. These earbuds are very good! The noise canceling is impressive, the volume is more than I need, the app works very well for sound profiles and for setting up noise canceling. The earbuds are comfortable and stay in my ears better than my pair of Anker/Soundcore pro earbuds and have nearly the perfect sound. And, for the price these are my choice and I’m very happy with them.

Liberty 4 earbuds are a comfortable fit and the sound is nice. They are replacing the Liberty 2 Pro earbuds I misplaced. I use them mainly for phone calls and I am told the clarity is nice. When I do use them for music the sound is very good. They also hold a very long charge. I charge them about every other day. The instructions did not show how to disconnect a call; however, by experimenting with my earbuds, 2 squeezes disconnect. I highly recommend.

The best near true wireless headphones I have owned. Bought these and gave AirPods Pro’s to my teenage daughter. Everything is better: sound, noise cancellation battery, charging case, price.
