South Park is the best animated series on television and arguably has been for some time. Granted the Simpsons and Family Guy are also great and long running animated series but South Park has never pulled any of its punches and always seems to take things to a place that no one would have expected or even dared to have gone. Also, South Park is great about satirizing anything that is relevant to pop culture or a current event that's being discussed by the mainstream media circle. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have created a show that could never end if they so desired bc of how they can brilliantly throw together a show in less than a week. This is a huge plus bc unlike other shows that are filmed and ready months prior to their season debuting, South Park is able to come out and deliver a great show by focusing on events that have occurred within the last couple weeks instead of having jokes about something you barely remember that happened months ago.

Excellent season love the game of thrones episodes

South Park is South Park. It's really hard to describe it any other way. I think if you go into an episode knowing what it is then you know what to expect. Offensive humor and social commentary. If that's not for you then obviously stay away (but you probably already know that and do anyways). For everyone else, they will laughing themselves to tears. This season is no different. Plenty of laugh out loud moments. My family members would often pop into my room because I'm laughing so loudly that they think I'm choking on something.

It took long enough for this to arrive on Blu-Ray and DVD; however, it is always worth the wait for the genius work from Matt and Trey involving their animated creations. Outside of their being a couple or few less episodes on this seasons' discs, they are still filled with the comical, relevant and controversial material that is the subject matter at most office water coolers on Thursday mornings. I will re-visit some of the great episodes often. If you are a fan of the series, then this is a must own. Highly recommended.

I have been an avid fan of South Park since it first aired. I have been watching all these years and collecting the series. This is actually one of my top favorite seasons because of the Black Friday trilogy. It's so hilarious and an excellent nod to Game of Thrones. And who doesn't love Princess Kenny. I also like that this season leads into Stick of Truth. Honestly Trey Parker and Matt Stone are geniuses and I would love to meet them and just be all fangirl.

South Park is practically a staple to modern day tv. It takes a cartoon medium, and while you think at first it may be innocent, you hear your first set of cursing, and realize not. But watching the show further, you see how it takes situations that happen throughout the world, and completely demolish and terrorize the whole subject at hand, and it is pure genius.

It seems like yesterday that Cartman was getting that first alien probe. After the first season I thought the shows humor would trail off quickly. Boy was I wrong! 17 seasons later and Trey and Matt are still as witty and fearless as ever. The season is worth it for the Black Friday trilogy alone. Come on down to South Park and have yourself a time!

South Park is the best comedy available for years. It's the only program on tv that makes me laugh out loud. I've bought every season for my son and he has memorized every line. What a kick. I'm in my 70th decade so have lots of experience with comedy. It's obvious the talented writers aren't from the not so funny S.N.L. cookie cutter factory.

The seasons may be getting shorter, but that will not stop me from loving South Park. Constant laughs and good times. My one gripe you ask? I have EVERY season of South Park on DVD. This season does not follow suit as far as packaging is concerned. It's about half the thickness of the others and looks sad on my dvd shelf next to them.

South park is a very long running comedy by Matt and Trey. They mock religion, politics, current events of any nature, along with profiling people and countries. South park is a unique way to portray current hot button issues, in a raunchy and unedited animated show. Very funny but not for someone who is serious or sensitive.

17 seasons in and South Park continues to be one of the most funny and topical shows around. The continue to push the boundaries and skewer pop culture, political culture, and every other culture they can. After all this time it is still one of the best shows on television (or DVD).

How can South Park fans be disappointed? Though there are only 10 episodes in this season, Matt & Trey still bring the funny. World War Zimmerman, Ginger Cow and Black Friday rock and The Hobbit straight up just rules! Matt and Trey still “got it”, all hail South Park!

South Park has another great season. This i consistently one of the funniest and most topical shows on tv. The Black Friday triology is a brilliant sen up of Black Friday shopping, Game of Thrones, and the madness around the next big gaming system!

If you love South Park this season just like every other won't disappoint! Ranchy humor that won't disappoint! I do think that the series hit its peak around season 15, but still a great show and will have you in tears laughing!

The 17th season of South Park continues its' hilarious topical take on current events. The Black Friday trilogy highlights the hysteria of the shopping holiday as only Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny can portray it!

I am a huge South Park fanatic and own close to every season. The Sixteenth Season was funny with a lot of correlation to the 2013 year's current events. However, lately South Park has been a disappointment with the number of episodes available each season. I would consider this disc set to be short, but sweet.

What can you say about this series that hasn't been said already? Amazing writing, witty stories, and "animation". If you're a fan you already have this season, if you're not then I suggest you give it a try

I have all seasons of this show. Season 17 is a funny season and I like the fact that it's not censored. Too bad that the number of episodes for each season has shank and will fit unto just 2 disks now...

Still fun to watch!!! I have all of the seasons on DVD and now I am getting them on Blu-Ray. As many times as I watch them, they still make me laugh and I pick up new laughs all the time I missed before!!!

South Park continues to entertain, but there DVD releases could be better. It would be nice if there seasons were a bit longer & there were more DVD extras. Oh well, still pretty entertaining episodes.
