One corner of the case doesnt quite fit correctly and pops out right when you think it fits. The snapping piece to hold the case together next to the apple pencil holder broke after 3 uses with very minimal force. As all the other reviews state, sleep/wake does not work. I didnt think it would be a big deal but it is quit annoying and it is advertised as a working mechanic of the case. I love the multiple viewing angle choices, which is the only positive to the case.

So, I read the reviews for the case when I bought it, and the issue isn't the case on the auto lock/unlock feature. It has to be apple's new update because I researched the reason it might not work and it's the Lock/Unlock setting in the Display and Brightness of the iPad. On my iPad Pro 13 inch, the Lock/Unlock button is missing. So, this case is perfect for exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. Apple just needs to do another update.

This case is everything I could’ve imagined it’s strong sturdy has the perfect view for video viewing I have no complaints

Case was awesome but it does not support the auto speep/wake feature.

Case does protect from major damage, but the plastic parts the hold the iPad secure cracks within 6 months of continuous use. Please see photo. The cracking just happens, the case was never dropped. Not sure if just this particular case or something affecting this item in general.

I purchased this case and it does not have a magnet in the front cover for the auto on and off feature. Per the manufacturer’s website auto on/off IS NOT a feature of this case. Best Buy needs to adjust their product description. It is not a situation where an apple update will fix this as mentioned by another reviewer. This product will NEVER be able to turn on and off your tablet shen you open and close it. I returned this and got the Otterbox Symmetry instead.

I love Speck iPhone cases so I expected to love this iPad case. I gave it a 4 because it didn’t cover the buttons (thus elevating them and making them easier to use) the buttons on the iPad were so flush (don’t raise up much) it was less easy to use the buttons. I exchanged this case for one the covered (and elevated) the buttons for volume etc. personal preference.

The thin plastic casing around the lower speakers and charging port snapped off within a couple of weeks, and I am not rough with my iPad at all. It doesn’t have a sleep/wake feature which would be nice. The magnets for the camera cover snap nicely.

Speck has always protected all of our Iphones so I stuck initially with this Folio case for the new Ipad Pro M4

Just like the other reviewer, the case is great! Loved the lens cover and the pencil clip. But sleep/wake feature doesnt work. Have to return.

This cover doesn’t fit very well. Some of my iPad sticks up and it doesn’t sit down in there where the other side sours down it in.

A few thoughts on this. No, the flaps do not stay place with magnets. There is a latching device that secures the closure instead. The magnet closures on the Apple folio are iffy, this latch approach will take some getting used to, but is probably a better approach. There is no sleep - wake as the folio is opened and closed, but for me I generally use the button to do that anyway. It does offer edge and corner protection (unlike the Apple folio), though it is minimal. The folding and propping up functions work well. When the cover is doubled over it is a little too long, pooching out on the back by a quarter inch or so. All cutouts and buttons work. It has a protective flap over the camera lenses. It looks good, all black. It is not too heavy or bulky, like many of its competitors. It has a good place to secure the pencil which is directly attached so it charges properly. All in all, it will work for me, but it has a number of flaws - the packaging says it has magnets and turns off and on automatically, but neither are true.

I especially appreciate how easily it switches from landscape to writing mode.

No auto screen lock feature. Its listed on packaging but they wont stand by that at Speck. I paid $65.00 for this junk and because it drains my battery and I cant use my IPad if the battery is dead...I dont need it protected from dust collecting on it. Save yourself the worries and stay far away.

This iPad cover is very nice. It latches and keeps my iPad safe from damage. It also acts as a stand and that part is easy to use and works well. I carry my iPad between my office and home every day and I would buy this case again.

I had a Speck case for my old iPad and thought this new one is gonna be great too. However, the auto sleep feature does not work (even though both the product picture and the packaging advertised it) I still like the case's design. Now I am looking for ways to somehow fix the autosleep functions. Maybe I just need to put magnets in the right place

This is better than the Apple keyboard; this is manageable, and on top of that, I have more control of the iPad.
