The ridges make it easy to hold onto the case without dropping out of your hand. It also makes it difficult to slip off any ledge in our cars. The case is easy to place on and off my phone.

Great protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used one of these cases for a previous iPhone and I liked it so I decided to buy one for my new iPhone XS after I bought a case on amazon that I didn't like very much. I like this case because it protects my phone, isn't too bulky, and it is easy to grip. I bought it especially for the grip because the last case I bought kept slipping out of my hands and made me very uneasy with the phone.

Excellent and stylish case!

I have tried both this case and the Presidio grip and love them both. This case feels solid in the hand but isn’t too bulky and the rubber grips really let me feel like I have good control of the phone in my hands. I am prone to dropping my phone so this is helpful to me whereas others might be willing to risk less grip and protection to use a thinner, more sleek case. The only downside of this case imo is that the glossy black shows a lot of fingerprints but this is to be expected. I would LOVE if Speck made the Candyshell grip in black/black like the Presidio grip. That would be slick!!
