Lets start with, if I could give this negative 10 stars I would! I purchased this case on 2/26/16, even though I read the reviews. I had hope that maybe the other people didn't properly care for it or received a defective product. The cracks started fairly soon after I purchased it. I am always very careful with my laptop. I have never dropped it anytime I take it somewhere I put it in a protective carrying case. These cracks are only from opening and closing my laptop! As you can see in one of the photos it cracked enough that a large piece came off. This was a huge waste of money. I'm extremely disappointed in this product. Yes, it is cute and they have a variety of colors, but I am literally begging you not to buy this. Terrible terrible quality!

I've had this case on my laptop for just over two months, and the bottom piece just developed a two-inch crack. I'm very careful with my laptop, so this happened over the course of regular use, not due to a drop or other extreme conditions. My laptop is fine, thankfully, but I expected better from that case.

I want my new laptop to look good and stay protected for a long time. This cover takes care of that.

This product began breaking within one week of getting it. Not only does it continuously fall off but one of the times I opened it a crack started forming at the bottom center. I wasn't harsh or anything, it's just too fragile. Today I noticed another crack on one corner and that's because I haven't really moved my laptop at all since last week.

This item cost too much to have cracked so quickly. It's a cute color, but within a week or two it has a few cracks. I haven't dropped my computer, just normal use. Disappointing, will be looking for a better brand of cases. It did get here on time, just not good quality.

Initially I was so happy to see the case when it arrived. It was easy to put on the laptop. However, I am very disappointed with the purchase. I got this over thanksgiving because my friend recommended it. Within the first 15 days, the case developed cracks at all edges of both, top and base protectors. I take very good care of my laptop and always carry it in a laptop sleeve. I am disappointed how it has developed cracks despite using it so carefully.

Clean, clear, just as any cover should be for the Mac Book!! Also extremely affordable!!

This case brings a lot of security, and it has a nice style

The item was difficult to put on and when it was finally placed on it cracked in 3 different places. Now after use it broke and no longer useable. Priced too high for bot being sturdy.

So, I went into Best Buy to buy a notebook for my son and ended buying this for my MacBook Air on a whim. That was a big mistake. This cover is definitely not worth the money. It cracked almost immediately after putting it on my MacBook and has developed another crack.

I purchased this for my daughter when she started college this month because she needed a case and was leaving that day. The 2nd day it broke! I am shocked the salesman recommended it. After getting it back from her to return it does feel really cheaply made. Not like the iPhone cases from them I've purchased before.

This cover is expensive as well as not worthy of having it. It started to get broken after some days of having it.

Absolute garbage, never stays on, cracks and breaks, extremely fragile and offers no protection.

Nice color & fit for MacBook Air, but too pricey at $50. There are other options out there with same results for 30-50% less $$. Unless you have to have a Speck product (and again, nothing wrong with this one), shop around. I gave 4 stars due to price - no other reason.

This case offers great protection, and definitely serves it's purpose there. It also is really pretty. My only complaint is that you can see the wear and tear on it very quickly - scratches and scuffs show up over the littlest thing, and so the beauty wanes pretty fast. I ended up replacing this within only a few weeks with a generic brand bought online that doesn't have this issue, and cost MUCH less than this overpriced item.

First, I'll start with the positive. I love the color, and it's easy to put on. The bad: The case already cracked! I'm not sure how this happened because it's always on my lap, my desk, or in a case when I go to a coffee shop. The bottom cracked and a small piece at the corner fell off. It's still usable, of course, but for $40, I expect that something won't crack and break in the first month of use. If I had dropped it... okay. But I didn't. I wouldn't spend the money again.

i'm NOT one of the people who are hard to please and i NEVER write reviews but DO NOT BUY THIS CASE!!!!!! unless your computer will never move from the exact same spot until the end of time. I can't believe i paid over 50 dollars for this. it's appealing to the eye, but it has gotten 3 or 4 HUGE cracks in it and chunks and pieces of the actual case have started falling off randomly. i am very careful with my things and i was not rough on this case at all. even when it was being transported to work every now and again i even placed my macbook [with speck case on it] inside of a thickly insulated enclosed case so it was never at any point unprotected. i would either have my macbook air sitting on my desk for work or sometimes in my lap when i was working from my bed. it was never placed on the floor or anywhere in harms way. how is this case so destroyed? i don't expect any type of case to be atomic bomb proof or anything but i am VERY careful with my macbook at all times bc of how expensive they are! this is obviously made of really cheap material. it's MAYBE worth $10 or something if that. i am so disappointed in the quality of this case after paying $50 for a computer case. i'm so surprised to see so many decent reviews on this. maybe the one i bought just so happened to be one that was faulty, but i doubt it. please don't waste your money.

I love the added protection that this gives my MacBook Air. I have dogs and kids that are always bouncing around. This case does not add much bulk to the computer and it has rubber feet to prevent slipping while on tables. It covers the outside of the MacBook completely so when it is closed, it is protected well. Well worth it to prevent scratches and dents.

This product is everything I expected. It fits well on my Macbook Air, and offers good scratch protection. I recommend this product for purchase if you want to have a protective layer on your macbook. So far, I have no complaints. Not sure how much protection it offers if you happen to drop your macbook. It was not a very cheap purchase however, but it meets the standards of protection offered.

I was a little worried at first because I didn't want something heavy. I purchased a macbook air because it was so light weight. I installed the cover in a matter of minutes. It easily snapped into place. Seems to protect my outside top and bottom on my macbook. Love the color. Reminds me of a tiffany blue green color.
