This Square reader worked very well for the craft show that I attended. This was the first time that I used this model and it worked far better and faster than my previous Square. I really like the quick connections for each transaction.

Square makes it so easy to accept payments while you are out on the go. The Square Reader for contactless and chip cards makes it even easier to accept cards while being mobile for a small price. You can accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and JCB. It's so easy to just tap or insert to get paid on the go!. What comes in the box? You get the contactless chip reader, a USB-C cable to charge the reader, a sticker with payment types and instructions. You will need to have the Square app on your phone, make sure your bluetooth is turned on to set up and pair the reader to your phone. Set up is very fast and very easy. The battery has lasted for my 7 hour events with no issues. This is an upgrade from the previous versions - so you no longer need a headphone jack to swipe cards. It works with both iPhone and Android devices. It includes data secutiy, 24/7 fraud prevention, and payment dispute management at no extra cost. This is a great upgrade from previous versions. Would recommend.

--- SETUP --- Setting up the square reader was quick and simple. It came halfway charged, but I did a full charge before use. Update the device’s software and you’ll be ready to use it in no time.. --- FEATURES --- This square device (gen 2) looks similar to gen 1 but it has improved connectivity and can be charged with a USB-C cable. On a full charge, it can last you all day. You can recharge with mobile chargers if needed. You get charged 2.6% + .10 cents for every tap or CC insertion. Accepts Apple pay, Google Pay, and other NFC payments such as tapping a debit card. --- PERFORMANCE AND EXPECTATIONS --- The square reader worked flawlessly. I teach salsa dance classes on the weekends. I currently have 1 square swivel with an iPad, and 1 gen 1 card reader. Now with the gen 2, I was able to charge more dancers quicker, as each of my dance partners had a device. I was using the gen 2, which I noticed didn’t lose connectivity during use, which occasionally happens with the gen 1. It charges fairly quickly with the USB-C cable and is very light. My customers paid with both, NFC phone taps or CC/Debit card insertions. Using the app on my phone, I was able to quickly charge customers for 1 class, 2 classes or private lessons. For the private lessons, I took my time setting up different packages and discounts for more purchases of private lessons upfront. Customers were able to see what they were buying before committing to payment and the receipt was either emailed or texted to them. Additionally, I had a show I was hired to perform at. Once at the show, the client said they’d pay with a CC on site. This gen 2 Square device was the perfect travel companion. I made an invoice from the square site and was able to charge them with my device. Client and I were both happy with how quick and easy it is to use Square. --- APPROVAL --- If you’re starting a business or your business requires you to travel, Square is your best friend to safely and securely charge your customers. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants their business to have a more trustworthy presentation.

Square Reader is definitely a nice device that helps out when owning a business. It allows me to take debit cards for purchases people make and to do it in the easiest way possible. With this version, there is now a way to connect the reader to Bluetooth on your phone. This makes it much better and much easier to use on different phones without a headphone jack from the older square model I’m used to. There is also contactless payment embedded within a device as well for “tap to go” purposes. It’s very simple to set up; once you download the app and sign in you’re good to go from there. I actually have a chance to use this at an anime convention for a booth for testing. Everything worked fine for me with payments going though. Didn’t have any issues taking payments or connecting my account. The charge isn't too bad as Square takes 2.6% + 10 cents for each contactless payment that is made. Battery life fine lasting me the day it needed 4 LED indicators to let you know what battery life is left and can also see what battery life is left in the app. Overall, the device does the advertisement it says it does. Which is to get your payments as quickly as possible for the merchandise you sell. And it does achieve this at this price point and is a fantastic little device that’s extremely handy for a business owner. There’s no way you can live in a day and age without a Square reader at this point if you want to broaden your payment horizons. I would recommend this product without a doubt if you are a small bussiness owner.

The TV has had 20 hours of screen time and under warranty since purchased in February. It turns on and off automatically without showing any picture. Samsung claims to be sending a service tech. Being a new TV with only 20 hours of screen time, this is highly frustrating. Had higher expectations from Samsung based off other home appliances.

I am obsessed with this Square Reader! I was able to take it to my vendor market this past weekend and use it at my booth! Before having the Square reader i was limited to only cash, cashapp, venmo and paypal payments but now with the Square reader i am able to accept credit and debit cards on site at all of my vendor markets! It is easy to set up and use. I followed the instructions and set up my square acckunt and linked my reader to the account. I was able to cusfomize what i wanted through my square dashboard . This square reader can be used for tap pay or inserting the chip of your card. It is quick and effective to take a payment through this squafe reader! My customers loved that i was able to offer them this method of payment. The square reader connects to your dashboard giving you all of your transactions and data that you need. It is small and compact fitting it the palm of your hand! I love that its easy for me to take on the go to all of my vendor markets. Its rechargeable which is great and it connects to your phone or tablet using Bluetooth! Overall my experience with the square reader for contactless pay is amazing and i highly reccomend it for all small buisness owners!
