I love the graphics on this game i would recomend it to my friends

I love this game. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. If you prefer a story mode game look else where. If you enjoy massive online multiplayer mayhem, this game was made for you. Search your feelings what you know to be true. The force is strong with this one!

I recommend this game for anyone that loves Star Wars! Really fun, great replay value....looking forward to Battlefront II.

When Battlefront first came out, it wasn't worth getting. There just wasn't enough content. But now, with the Ultimate Edition, this game is worth it. It includes the Season Pass which gives you every Expansion Pack. You're getting more content with the Ultimate Edition, which means you'll be spending more time playing this. In particular the Trench Run level. Every Star Wars fan wants to recreate the last battle in Episode 4. Added Bonus - if you have a PSVR, this game includes the free VR X-Wing mission which is an incredible and surreal experience. In general, this is a good game for casual gamers. You don't have to feel intimidated playing this like other multiplayer shooters. A lot of people give negative feedback towards Star Wars Battlefront, but I can say that now in its current form, it's a good game. Sure, it would be ideal if this game had a campaign mode, but I hope we'll get that in the sequel.

I'm such a Star Wars fan that I bought this on launch day. Like many of those purchasers, I was disappointed at the lack of content of the launch version. Great looking graphics and excellent audio, but boring after awhile. Fast forward to this ultimate version that I bought for <$20 (with Gamers Club Unlocked) a few weeks ago. Includes almost double the number of maps and game types. Also includes Rogue One playable characters Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic -- if you're lucky enough to play them. There's even a Rogue One map (Scarif). I didn't get to try the VR game that's included as I don't have the PS VR hardware that's required. Overall, the Ultimate Edition is a great game at it's current price point. It's a pity all the game modes weren't available at launch. The game may have done much better than it did.

When Battlefront was first released last year, its content was lacking. There weren't too many worlds you could play and the fact that it was multiplayer only hurt the game a lot. This edition changes thing around and adds in all the DLC packs (it's basically the season pass) giving the game a lot more content and playability. Moreover, the game now lets you play with bots on your own so it solves the lack of single player content slightly (an actual campaign would be better). If you're a Star Wars fan and enjoy multiplayer shooters, you will probably enjoy this version of Battlefront. Battlefield 1 would be a better choice, but the arcadey nature of this game does make it easier to pick up and play.

I bought this game just for the VR, but after playing the single player, multiplayer and VR modes I can’t think of a game that offers more. A must buy for any startwars, FPS or VR fan

You've probably heard all the mixed reviews about this game and also about how terrible it is. And it is true on some aspects: it doesn't live up to the previous Battlefront games for the PS2. The gameplay is rather simplistic and catered to those aren't used to shooters, but the game isn't horrible as many would say. Many of them are blinded by nostalgia, giving this game a much harder time than it deserves. Having been developed by DICE, many also expected this game to be fantastic, so I understand people's frustration on this; this game is nothing like Battlefield. But one of the biggest complaints that I also agreed with is that it didn't have enough content at the beginning. However, with the ultimate edition, you get all the dlc included. If you can get this game on sale, then it is definitely worth it. I would recommend this game to those who are itching for a simple star wars shooter with beautiful graphics, something to hold them off until a better one comes out. But for those who want something in depth, or requires strategy, look for something else.

Multiplayer is phenomenal, but having no other modes to play didn’t keep me coming for more.

This is a very entertaining game and I have a great time with the VR mission. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Big Star Wars fan so can't turn this down when it comes with the Season Pass for a great low price. Very disappointed there is no single player campaign mode, but can't turn this down for such a low price. And it comes with the new Rogue One DLC!

I hardly ever write reviews for items. But I felt like this deserves one. This is the version of Star Wars Battlefront that should have come out in the first place. It comes with the base game + all 4 dlc packs. (Rogue One pack hasn't been released yet as of this moment however) Which I think for $30 is totally worth it. Yes, this game is not the same as the old Battlefront II that we all love and remember, but it is still a good game. Could it use some improvements? Yes it could. But all in all, it's a worthy successor. Now, If you're curious, the DLC doesn't come on the disc, it comes as a voucher for the Season Pass. So if you don't already have the game, and were considering it, this is the version to buy.

Bought this edition because it has all the Add-ons and VR mission. Plays great and has fun online modes. Wish it had single player story mode however. Can't wait for Battlefront 2!

I am a big battlefront fan from years back and was excited to see it make its come back on the next gen consoles. The graphics are stunning and one of the best looking games I have seen. I bought this for Xbox one on release day but always wanted the season pass. So over Thanksgiving I saw the ultimate edition for 20 bucks and grabbed the ps4 version for the season pass and the Rogue One vr stuff. I enjoy this game a lot and play as often as I can but I couldn't give it 5 stars because the lack of single player campaign. This was sorely missed by dice but still I like the game and look forward to the sequel.

One star taken away because EA the publisher upset me when after a software update portions of my season pass DLC were unavailable to play. I was required to search the problem on google for around 45 minutes to find a solution to the problem. The DLC is fun and the graphics are good when it works though. One final word of warning to potential buyers though is that playing the DLC maps requires an internet connection to play unlike the levels in the base game. This is an important piece of information to players that are using internet plans with data caps.

I gave this 3 stars solely based on the lack of offline play, besides that this game would be at least a 4.5 out of 5. As a gamer and a Star Wars Fan, this "Ultimate Edition" was too good to pass up at $20 on Black Friday. That being said, its retail price of $40 is worth it for the seasons pass and the game it comes with. The game itself is gorgeous and immersive, I feel like I'm in the Star Wars Universe when I play. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes shooters and Star Wars, but be warned it is essential to have PS Plus or XBOX live. There is very few things you can do with this game if you don't have a multi-player subscription (PS Plus or XBOX Live). May the force be with you.

This is a fantastic looking game on the PS4 pro. Be aware that the expansion content appears to be solely multiplayer, there is less single player than I expected

I originally hesitated to pick this game up based on some reviews I read, but I did recently pick it up on sale. After spending some time with it, I wished I had picked up a long time ago. I originally picked up to play with the VR level, which is short, but give you a great sense of being in an X-wing. The multi-player portion ended up being more fun than I thought. It's more arcadey than Battlefield, but in a good way. There are a few single player levels, but they don't amount to much, hopefully the sequel improves on this. If you enjoy Star Wars its worth a pick up.

Game Is good it's fun a little late to the party I think EA should of just reskined battlefield 4 meaning let the player ride vehicles, spawn differently, take over flags ect I'd be more epic

It's clear that when Battlefront released in 2015 at $60, it's was not worth the whole $60, at most it was worth $30, because of the lack of content. And now, with the release of all 4 DLC packs, the Ultimate Edition included the Battlefront game with some newly added modes and maps, along with the Outer Rim, Bespin, Death Star, and the sweet new Rogue One Scarif DLC. Bought it for $20 on black Friday which was a total steal. Looking forward to Battlefront 2 in the near future.
