Customers are positive about the easy setup, reliability, affordability, and its suitability for rural areas. They appreciate the fast and consistent internet connection that Starlink provides, making it an excellent choice for those in remote locations. However, some customers have concerns about the cable length, the need for an additional mount, occasional signal drops, and its capability for gaming in larger homes.

Setup was fine, but download and upload speed are so slow it isn't useable. And it has to be rebooted every day or two to fix the connection. Provided router has minimal user adjustable settings and no ethernet ports without a separate purchasable adapter. Strongly recommend against purchasing this item.

Wanted to have a reliable internet service so I chose Starlink. After dealing with all of the other services and there down time due to what ever this was my choice. I have installed several of these for customers in the Keys and never once in the last two years have they complained about their internet not working. All of my installs have been this type dish now the new one. I feel this is the best in my application as it will adjust itself and I placed it on the upper edge of my house. I have had no problems or outages my speeds have been able to stream 6 TVs and multiple nodes in my house. I like there it no contact but it something is wrong with I component they replace it. Your customer service is done by a email ticket and usually will take about 24 hrs for response. It’s really a simple service to set up. If you just place it in an area that has no obstructions you can have service in about 30 min. Out of the box my 7 year old granddaughter helped me and we were watching TV about 35 minutes later. You don’t need a pro to set it up unless you’re not wanting to go on a ladder. With all the issues with the services that are out there the little extra you pay to have a solid service is worth it. It’s not for everyone but it’s worth it for me.

At best, your last option. If you have good signals for 5G service with Tmo or VZ home internet, they are a much better option for speed and lower cost; especially upfront costs for equipment. I have had SLink for a year and a half. Replacing a grandfathered ATT unl 4G home internet modem that was SOLID on connections, but much slower. In many ways, it actually was better. My speeds have dropped. My connection drops several times a day on Fubo, and Philo, and it drops constantly, like minutes in on Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix. I am in an optimal location in rural NW WA, with a clear view of N sky and a mounted dish. I still get drops and loss of signal. Speeds have dropped as they have added hookups and don't add enough infrastructure or Sats to keep up. The speed test is a mid-morning Friday (low demand) time/day. It will drop to the 40's or less evenings. It used to be in the 200 MBS range during demand times. The good? Easy Setup, except for figuring and doing the dish mounting, placing it on the ground in front of my house wasn't an ideal situation but allowed me to evaluate if I wanted to keep it or return it. FORTUNATELY, after 25 years at my home our local PUD is bringing finally bringing fiber service to my front door by the end of the year. Then I will quit Starlink.

The system works great once I put it in the best location. As long as you load the apps from Starlink so you have all the information the system is easy to run for anybody. I’d recommend using this to people who don’t have access to little or no internet.

Starlink has been a game changer for internet where no call signal is available. The only other internet option where I live is Hughes net and I was not paying that much for a few gigs of data. I live in a valley surrounded by woods in the middle of nowhere. I have no issues at all except during 1 bad storm I lost internet for about 10 minutes that is it! Set up was fairly easy once I finally found a good signal spot. It is a little pricy for start up but was well worth it!

I work from home and was unable to get good Internet at our house and picked one of these bad boys up. We have not had an outage. I did look a little silly walking around my yard trying to use the app to find a good spot to put it. Lol but I home school, my son loves streaming video games, Netflix, YouTube tablets galore and NO issues, extremely reliable and so easy I did it on my own! 15000 stars because I was worried about my job & not having great internet!

Purchased this after having numerous issues the past 2 years with cell provider home internet. We love our Starlink. Super easy setup and up in running within minutes of connecting it in our home. Fast speeds and extremely reliable in a gated community surrounded by pines in mountain region. Best purchase we could have ever made and should have purchased sooner than deal with the aggravations we had.

I've had this system for over a year now. I live in a verrry rural area. Had Hughesnet 20gb cap usually less than 10 mbps down, 1.2 up. With Starlink 30-180 down, usually 10 up. A revolutionary product.

I made the switch to Starlink recently, and it's been a game-changer. Setting it up was easy, and the internet speed is miles ahead of my old Windstream service in our remote area. Now, I can stream, video call, and game without any hiccups. Starlink is a real lifesaver, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Starlink, a game-changing product from SpaceX, has successfully reinvented satellite internet as we know it. Offering high-speed, low-latency connections, it completely shatters previous misconceptions about satellite-based internet services. Engaging in activities such as streaming movies, playing online games, or conducting smooth video calls was once thought impossible for satellite internet users, but Starlink has made this a reality.
The subscription plans offered are quite flexible. Whether you're a homebody or a traveler, you can choose between the Residential or Roam service plans. The Residential plan is optimal for fixed locations, while Roam offers a chance to stay connected wherever Starlink's coverage extends. It's a win-win for everybody!
Installation is an absolute breeze with the standard Starlink Kit. The kit arrives complete with all necessary equipment, including the Starlink, Wi-Fi router, cables, and base. The design is a testament to the DIY spirit and makes the process a pleasant and fulfilling experience.
Starlink's commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable, offering a no-strings-attached, cancel-anytime policy. This adds a layer of confidence in their service and gives customers a chance to explore the product without the usual worries associated with contractual obligations.
The device operates best with a clear sky view. And guess what? Weather isn't an issue. Its robust, weather-resistant design can handle diverse weather conditions, from blistering heat to freezing cold.
The cherry on top? An intuitive mobile app for easy management of your Starlink service. This app also helps identify the best setup location for optimal performance.
In conclusion, Starlink is a magnificent piece of engineering, a well-rounded package for all your internet needs, especially for those in remote areas. I give it a solid five-star rating. What a fantastic technological advancement in the realm of internet connectivity!

We live in a very remote area in the mountains of North Carolina with no Internet service providers in our area. This has been a wonderful investment for our family, our kids can do school work,.my wife and I can work from home now, we can stream movies, and play online games. This is remarkable for us. We went from no service to 150 megs. I work in telecommunications and the service that is provided is too notch. With plug and play setup almost anyone can do it. Great buy

Item was ordered online and picked up at store. It was ready within an hour and we were in and out in under 10 minutes. Easiest purchase ever. Install was quick once cables were run from outside to destination inside the house. Works as we'd hoped and glad we decided to make the change. All in all a positive experience.

Perfect for rural areas. We have access to DSL but only 25MBS. It takes a good 75MBS to work seamlessly at home along with everything else. This absolutely does the trick. Recommend the roof mount. Doesn’t penetrate and gives better view of the sky with less obstructions.

We have over 45 items hooked to this starlink system and are stii able to stream in 4K with no problem whatsoever. And for the 120.00 a month with no date cap,you can't beat this system. We use about 4 gigabytes a month and no slow down or buffering whatsoever. What are you waiting for? Bite the bullett and go and get yourself one.

ABSOLUTE BEST OPTION for rural areas that dont have cable internet. I set this up at my grandparents which is in the middle of nowhere and the speed is an upwards of 200mbps. Insane! Has been very reliable aswell and streams 4k netflix and full 4k blurays remotely from my plex server. Solid purchase. Easy install. Get it now

Easy to install and it works. Best internet I have ever had out here in the boonies. Beats ViaSat, beats Hughes Net and beats AT&T’s Air to Air 5G which wouldn’t work out here due to their unwillingness to provide an external antenna. Only downside is cost.

I attempted for two weeks to order this Starlink Satellite Kit from Starlink's website and it failed at least 10 times. I discovered it is available from Best Buy so I placed an order. There was a 7-14 day delivery timeline. It arrived in 6 days. Communication and pick up from the store were clear and easy. The employee was actually impressed that Best Buy sells these and learned something new about BB's own product line. Set up at home was easy. Cables are long enough to reach best setup location and it's a pretty unit. The app is easy to use. My only recommendation to users is setup and pay for service before you take your unit to a location without internet. We've been online for two weeks now and can stream multiple devises at the same time without any issues. Service has also been flawless for wifi calls since there is zero cell service where we live in the San Gabriel Mountains.
