These SteelSeries Arctis 1 are my first pair of wireless headset I’ve ever owned for gaming... As a PC/Xbox One player I constantly switch between the Xbox app on party chat or a chat room on the Discord app and I’ve had zero issues with this headset. Battery life is amazing for the price!! I play usually 5-6 hours through the day and I find myself charging the headset once weekly. I AM NOT KIDDING!! Battery life is really good and doesn’t take too long to charge up to 100% either. Charges using MicroUSB not USB-C. Has a mute switch and a single dial for volume. Has a detachable 3.5mm mic port. Brings a 3.5 mm to connect to other devices where Bluetooth is not supported. Uses a USB-C wireless adapter to connect directly to a Nintendo Switch if you want. The design is simple and not too heavy or tight around my head. Mic is super crisp and clear, all my fiends knew I had gotten a new mic because they told me I sounded like I was next to them talking. I recommend this to anyone wanting to transition from a wired headset to a wireless headset. Of course SteelSeries has many other headset options but for the price and what you get, it really is the headset I can easily and comfortably recommend to anyone.

I bought this headset to replace my aging, crappy headset. My original headset was the Turtlebeach ear force stealth 700 gen 1 which was $150 when I bought it 5 years ago. The Steelseries Arctis 1 is $50 cheaper but the quality way surpassed the more expensive Turtlebeach’s. The steel headband provides great clamp holding the headset snuggly in place without pushing too hard to where it’s squeezing your head. If you drop something and bend over to pick it up, this headset will sit in place instead of crashing to floor as you forgot you were wearing the it. The material they used to create the ear cup cushions is top notch. It is very breathable and comfortable as they don’t use vinyl or pleather but instead choose a breathable fabric. You can easily wear this headset for hours and have no discomfort, personally tested and I have a big head. I haven’t been on the receiving end of the mic so I can’t not speak to quality of it. I haven’t experienced anything bad with the mic yet. The mic being detachable is a plus. Sound wise, this headset can get pretty loud and while it does have good bass it could be better. Sound quality is great for gaming as I’m always able to hear footsteps and gunfire behind me in COD and Valorant. The battery life is absolutely fantastic. I no longer have to hide mid game in a panic because my headset died and I need to plug it in. This headset will make it through an entire day of gaming before you start pushing low battery. My only gripes with this headset are the facts that it doesn’t support Bluetooth and the headset receiver being usb type c is a little ahead of its time. While they do proved a standard usb to usb c cable it’s more a burden then it is helpful if your device don’t support usb c.

I was looking for something that I could use with all my devices when I'm on the go, something I don't do a WHOLE lot, but every once in a while. I wanted wireless, a good mic, preferably something tunable (on pc at least), and something that was light/small enough to stay in my backpack at all times. My devices are a OnePlus 6t, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Surface Book 2. All of which have a USB C port, so this was already looking good. I was honestly considering something wired with USB C, so I wouldn't have to charge anything, but the 20 hour battery life should be good enough to make this work. The audio quality is good on phone and switch, but it's GREAT on PC. Thankfully the steel series software works with this headset on PC, so I'm able to really eek out the best it can offer, I usually have two profiles for my arctis 7 headset, one for gaming and one for music so this offers that as well. It supports both Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos on PC as well, another huge benefit. The microphone is good on android, and great on PC, again the Steel Series software brings a bit more out of it I guess. I was talking to my buddies on my phone through Discord, and they all said it was pretty good, but then when I switched to my PC they said it sounded even better. It also offers a wired connection in case the headset dies I still can plug in with a regular 3.5 cable to continue it's use.

I have owned other brands in the same price range and higher. Steel Series are perfect super comfortable lightweight the sound is genuinely clear and loud enough. the set up is really easy (which unfortunately isn’t always the case lol) ALSO the distance at which the Bluetooth finally disconnects is impressively far! One pair I previously owned only had a 10 foot range which if you go to the bathroom or go grab a beer and the thin cuts out and then you have to reconnected it will drive you crazy just get these guys it’s a good company. this is an excellent headset for $100. i replaced it for my old logitech g533. These are so much more light and much more comfortable then my old logitech's. the sound is good. i bought this because you can use it on your phone too and its really convenient and it doesnt have to pair its just plug and play. the only gripe i have are the ear cushions. They are pretty bad. mainly because they are a little short and makes my ear touch the driver shield. after a couple hours your ears will be sore. definately should invest in some pleather ear cushions which ive transferred from my old headset. this headset is a no brainer. just get them.

Got the Arctis Wireless headset to use with my PS4. They’re great and really immerse you in the game you’re playing. I love that they’re minimalist and I can wear them out and about with it being obvious it’s a gaming headset. I bought a small usb-c to usb-a connector to get rid of the cords in front of my PS4, though just be aware that when using the adapter it only works one way, so had to flip it to work. Other than that I’m really happy with my purchase. I got mines on sale, so for basically the same quality sound as the Arctis 7 I got a much more affordable headset

Works excellent with PS4, iPad Pro, and Mac. Sound quality of great. Look is minimalistic with no rgb. Connectivity is also great, I can be on the other side of my apartment and still get uninterrupted audio. You can even change audio profile and adjust it to your liking with a computer.

The headset took some getting used to. Although they are pretty flexible, I felt they were a bit tight around the head at first. Also my ears rub against the speakers which was initially annoying. I can't complain about the sound quality. Video games and videos are crisp, and to my surprise I was able to listen to music anywhere in the house without my device nearby. The microphone on the headset picks up everything. My voice is clear, however when I play back a recording, I can heat the cat purring near me, as well as clatter upstairs. While gaming, the case seems different as others had trouble hearing me, until I raised mic volume on the console.

Been about 2 weeks since purchasing these and so far so good. The setup equalizer engine for steel series is great. Using different settings is helpful for gameplay, music or office. I mainly use these for the PS4 CAll of Duty games and it’s been good. Clarity on the mic is great after some adjustments. The controls on the headset are convenient and the wireless is so much better than connecting to the controller. Fit is great, not too snug and I wear glasses so it doesn’t put a lot of pressure with the glasses on. It’s comfortable and the ambient noise is minimal. Sound is clear and depending on your settings you’d be able to tweak to your liking. Some draw backs: for the PS4 to play audio from the tv you’ll need to disconnect the USB or change the setting on your PS4 to play sound through the tv. Surround sound is okay but I’m sure for just a bit more the arctis 7 would be a world of a difference. Battery life, over the 2 weeks of having it with about 3 hour is play every other day I’ve only had to charge it once out of the box.

Wonderful product. It feels so light on my head and it can be extended a lot to fit well. Sometimes I don't feel it on my head. It's noise cancelling too. The battery life is about 16-20 hours. The mic is better than a lot of other headphone mics, but I don't use it anyways. It fits well on my Oculus Rift S as well, which is very cool because that's what I bought it for. It also comes with a USB-C dongle but also comes with an adapter for USB A and B slots. Very good buy. Worth the money.

Good Lightweight Headset for Multiple Device Use

I got this headset to use with my PC and other gaming consoles, so far it has not let me down. Rated battery life is accurate, earcups do not put a lot of force on my head (unsure about how this would be with glasses), and the microphone is adequate for what it is. Earcups are also very breathable, my ears don't get very hot while wearing these and remain fairly comfortable. Additionally they are spacious enough to accommodate larger ears and quite soft. Very lightweight and as a result, I experienced little to no fatigue after wearing it for long sessions. Adjustable headband is also generous, larger heads should not have too much of an issue. Headband is quite flexible yet still rigid enough to not be concerned. Provided USB type A to USB type C cable can be used on a PC or game consoles. The USB type C dongle allows for use with a Nintendo Switch (or even a Mac if you plan to use it for that).

Love these headphones. I am a casual gamer and just wanted something comfortable, easy to use, and not too expensive. I use these for my PS4 and for my WFH set up. I was worried these might be so big and heavy they’d slide off my head, which is a problem I’ve had with gaming headphones. But thankfully the videos I saw of these were on the money; they are incredibly light and fit snug enough not to slide off. I use them with the USB adapter with my PC and PS4, so I’d say the only complaint I have is having to deal with the wire on the adapter when I switch it from one to the other. A charge lasts me through several full workdays. I like that the mic is detachable, as I don’t play online. Like the simple volume control wheel in the headset. I walk around my 1 bedroom apartment with no problem holding signal. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Solid Headset, I used it for around 1yr Sound 8/10 not bad if they lower price Mic 9/10 no complaints on discord Quality 6/10 felt kind of cheap Battery Life 8/10 for me it would last 40 hours but for my friend his was always dying daily even after charging I paid $100 for mine but realistically it’s worth $50 at best, definitely look at other options.

This item is great in cancelling noise while working from home. My son does virtual class at home and his class can get very loud at times. This wireless headset covers both ears and is very comfortable. Charges fast, last long and able to walk about 20-30 feet away from my computer without disconnecting. It is a gaming headset, however, I use it for my daily meetings and conference calls.

Bought this for my son because of its reviews and he absolutely love it. He was not sure on it being wireless because of other headsets that my other son bought for himself and the complaints he had. He can't believe how long it lasts on a single charge, almost 4 days, with use of sometimes 8 hours in a day. Very clear and the range is great too. I would recommend this headset to anyone.

SteelSeries really did a great job manufacturing this product! I must say, I've never really own any other pair of Gaming Headsets aside from the PlayStation Wired Gold Headset which were nice. But this product here is impressive. I purchased this product to use with my Nintendo Switch and although I can only use them wirelessly with that device (which is my only complaint), it does come with a 3.5mm input and cable to connect with such devices that are compatible with that. Let's talk about the sound, simply amazing! I've played a lot of games that contain soundtracks that are very well composed from Piano and melodies to beats and digitally made music and it doesn't suffer whatsoever throughout this range of music, I am very happy with the quality of sound that this product delivers. It also comes with a microphone to use for chatting which I haven't found use for but it is nice to have. Let's talk about the comfort, they are extremely comfortable I haven't had any discomfort wearing this product and let me tell you I have nights that I've gamed for hours on end. What about the battery? Amazing! Like I previously mentioned, I've gamed for hours on end and haven't come across any issues with the battery in one use, it usually takes about a few nights of gaming to begin to show battery depletion. I am very happy with this product, recommend it and would buy from this brand again happily!

I was looking at so many headset before this one, from Cross Air to Hyper X and Steelseries. I ended up going with this one because of the type C receiver. This just future proof the headset. I can use the type C on my Android phone, Switch, laptop and any other devices that supports Type C. It's literally plug and play and it connects to fast. I use a type C to USB adapter for my PS4 and it works great! You can find the adapter in Amazon. Other than that, the sound quality and audio quality is really good. For my job I have to be on the phone talking to people and they never complained that they could not hear me or I sound far away or anything like that. I have sensitive ear and never liked over the ear headphones because there too tight and very uncomfortable. These I can wear for hours without having any issues or hurting my ears. Battery life is great! I charge it every 3-4 days and it charges pretty quick. Also the light indicators are helpful. The power button works for pause, play, take calls and end calls which is a plus. To save battery, the headset auto shuts off if it's not in use and you can change the times on the software. The software is good you can tweak the sound setting but I keep it in music or default for my needs. Haven't game with them yet in PC but definitely used to movies and music and I love it! Get them, these are more than worth it for the price!
