Is Perfect a word in Tech??

Look I know that reviews of tech items can be wishy-washy at best. Something that is absolutely the "best ever seen" is another person's "worst ever seen". And then there are the facts like the complaints that some have over the pads wearing out and falling off. Obviously this isn't an issue that can be ignored but I am not having those problems. In fact, I am not having a single problem out of these mouse. Not only is the mouse working without flaw it's working better than any other mouse I have had. I love the weight, the clicking action of the buttons, the butter smooth scroll wheel, and the perfect curves that match my hand and grip. On top of this, it gives you nice options to control better battery life, which is a very important and I can't understand why other mouse companies don't do this. Look, if you looking for a Steel series to match your keyboard or headphones this is perfect. Now if you have other brands and don't mind mismatching your brands this is still an amazing choice. But at the end of the day, it's your money and choice...all I can say is that I am very blessed to have this one and don't see a reason to get any other mouse.

I have bigger hands so I've always loved the steel series line. I previously had the rival 310 and this is comparable in size. It has one extra side button(3) than the 310. The weight is perfect already in my opinion, but weights can be added for a heavier mouse. I'd say I get at least 12 hours on one charge and the fast charge is wonderful feature.

So far, so good! Yeah it is a little pricey but it is a great mouse. I like that option of being able to use it wireless or wired. Adjustable weight! You can customize the colors and the buttons. Great looks to go along with great performance. Great addition to our gaming set up.

Love this mouse. Its on the heavy side for wireless mice and does take come getting used to but I would highly recommend. I wouldnt use the weights thought due to weight before you add them.
2 downsides for me:
1. Battery life sucks compared to other brands will get like 12 hours but has fast charge so not that big a deal.
2. Downside for me is the dongle no place to store
3. Downside is the donble is the size of a USB flash drive.
Other than that tracking is amazing and love the RJB effects and how you can customize.
I did experience some wierd driver issues that made me go with other brand but just may have been my pc where wouldnt stop working I would have to unplug dongle and plug back in same with my steelseries keyboard so again driver issue but loves the feel of this mouse and great for large hands.
If you want a premium gaming mouse that is wireless give them a try

Overall the feel, lighting, and functionality have been great. The Steelseries software is easy to use and the three buttons, while a little awkward work well as extra keys when needed. My biggest problem is one of the side silicon pads came off and I had to super glue it back down and it set in a little awkward position. While I have loved the mouse that issue is big for the price and that it happened within ±10 months of ownership and not that heavy use. That being said assuming mine just had too little adhesive the battery life is good and the feel is great.

I upgraded from a Logitech G602 and I must say, it's definitely an upgrade!
No more batteries, fast-charge the Rival 650 for 15 minutes and you're good to go for another 8+ hours! Even with the cord I don't seem to ever be concerned about the battery life. The mouse wheel serves as a battery indicator.
As for gaming, I play a lot of CS, Valorant, and League. Things are SMOOOOOTH compared to the G602. There is virtually no lag, I haven't experienced any. I've still been experimenting with the weight distribution but those can be easily added/removed.
Lastly, about the size of the mouse. It encompasses my hand perfectly! I couldn't be happier.

Having most my experiences with mice be in Logitech's products I took a step outside the box with SteelSeries and purchased The 650. From the moment of grabbing the mouse the overall feel and texture was as close to perfect as you could get. Has smooth rubber non-slip like feel to it, the shape fit so comfortably from all aspects. Palm was positioned just right at the tail of the mouse with my thumb to pinky having the best sense of a relaxed, yet firm grip on the mouse all around. Clicks on the 2 main buttons were just fitting with a slight force needed to click down but still felt like force was non existent. Wireless performance was great with no lag that was noticed. The best feature that i personally noted though was the tracking. Holy smokes the sensors (that's right 2 sensors in this mouse) were phenomenal in tracking. If you're one who likes Logitech than you understand what a top tier sensor feels like but, this mouse gave such a responsive and light sense of control while in use. I honestly could best describe it when thinking back like I was moving the mouse with my elbow. This mouse was near perfect for me, but having said all the great things I still ended up having to return it for an exchange. SteelSeries Firmware, while it's very easy to guide thru and overall use, it's not the most descriptive. Example: The mouse does have on board memory but I noticed that plugging my mouse in and getting my settings altogether I turned off the mouse, unplugged the wire and set it back on to perform in wireless, my settings were completely gone. So I thought.. I plugged the mouse back in and realized that my settings had came back! That's because it's profiled separately between wireless and wired. I had to create again my personal settings in wireless mode in order to use my settings wireless. Doesn't sound too problematic I know, but giving that fact, there were times I'd turn the mouse off after use then come back to it next time for a session but I was met with a confused reaction to the default profile being on. So from then on I'd plug in and check profiles before use every time which should not have been necessary. Main reason for my return though was that there just wasn't enough buttons for my liking. Being a big fan of Logitech's g502 and g903 it lacked the customization of mapping I'm use to. So overall it was just a personal preference that ultimately steered me away, to anyone else though this is honestly a fantastic mouse and one to consider.

Best Mouse For me!

I bought this to try my hand on a wireless gaming mouse. I am glad I did as i love the freedom of not having a wire connected to it. I felt it was as responsive, if not more responsive than my wired one. Battery life is good but love that i can charge it for 15 minutes and have it last for 10 hours. Also like the fact that i can use it wired when i am out of juice. It is a little heavy but that is how i like my mice. Great for medium to large hands.

This mouse is just like any other regular mouse, it feels too much overpriced. But if you are looking for quality, this mouse is very great. I purchased this mouse mainly because I tried out the demo mouse that they had in the store and it had a really nice feeling to it. It has a really good grip and you can also put some weight on it if it feels too light. The lights on the mouse changes color slowly overtime which looks very awesome. Overall, I don't think paying that much for a mouse is worth it, but only because it was the first mouse that I actually loved holding onto my hands.

I like how the mouse feels in my hand, not a big fan of how it can quickly leave a mark from where your hand was, but overall it’s a great working mouse. The battery life is really good, especially when you have the battery saver. The third button on the side is pretty far reach, but if you don’t use those then it doesn’t matter

This mouse is so customizable that you can even load weights into it for the desired resistance when moving it. I prefer a heavier mouse so I put them all in. Every light is customizable and it is fully Mac compatible if you were wondering. I've been very happy with the purchase.

I have always enjoyed using steelseries mice. This one feels like at home.
I had the rival 600 wired. And I hated how after a few hours of gameplay the rubber grib started to slid off the mouse. With the rival 650 the built quality is a lot better. The grips have not slid off

Pros: Excellent performance on and off wire, including the ability to USE on and off wire. It charges extremely fast. Although plastic, construction is very solid. The removable weights add another layer of customization. Asthetically nice both in appearance and 8 zone RGB. SteelSeries software is excellent.
Cons: There is no insert to store the USB dongle on the mouse itself which to me is only a minor inconvenience but could be a risk to some.
The price... You are paying an extra $20 over competitors that offer a wireless charging mat included with their product. However the ability to use wired almost makes up for it.
Overall: Only docking one star due to price. If it was $100 it would be five stars all day, no question. If you are willing to pay the premium and deal with the (in my opinion) very minor inconveniences then it is an amazing product and very much worth your consideration.

Been using since December of last year. zero complaints. I have feeling loss in my right arm so having a mouse I can add alot of weight too have helped alot. Plus the wireless is an added benefit. The shape is perfect for my larger hands.
