Meets My Recording & Streaming Needs

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There are higher models of the Tascam with mic inputs, etc., but I needed something just for doing some recording and video streaming work. This is perfect for me and the sound processing on this thing is amazing. It handled peaks so well, and is ultra configurable. The USB function allows me to record directly into my computer, which is super convenient. It does seem to reject some SD cards (using a Samsung 64GB now), so I'm researching that, otherwise, great device!

Comes without instructions (a common complaint and cost it a star) so plan to spend a lot of time figuring it out and hunting for online instructions. Otherwise happy with this purchase. DO NOT trust the Best Buy online chat to help you with accessories. I was told to buy the wrong SD card and had to go through an annoying return process. Yes, you must have a MICRO SD card to use this.

Good but complex.

I did a lot of research and thought I made the right decision…oh well.

Workable

It takes 2 AA's and you can expand it to 128gb. But you must put on the automatic filter or else you'll hear clicking and knocking noises while you play your recording back. Is very annoying!
