This is a good game combo which has two games. These are good ports on the Nintendo Switch as well. If you are into survival games you might like them. The overall gameplay is good, but expect occasional performance drops and glitches.

Such a wild game. There's so much to do and uncover in such a different tyoe of enviornment and gameplay mechanics that no other game has done. This game is scary and beautiful to traverse through. Highly recommend!

It's really cool to have both games on one cartridge, as both are very good albeit do run into some issues on the Switch. Just make sure to save often when playing.

    Portable Subnautica… Yes, Please!

First: YES, both games are completely included on the cartridge! No codes, no downloads, nothing else required! Subnautica: GREAT game! Excellent survival game, with a great story! Played it thoroughly on Xbox and on PC! Haven’t played Below Zero yet, but watched a lot of early access videos… This port: very good! Better than I expected! A little buggy here and there, but all versions have been like that. Played 2 hours straight when I first got it. Didn’t run an update, or download, or anything. It’s great!

Looks and plays better than expected after watching some YouTube reviews prepurchase. Both games have decent sized patches to download but I’m not sure if they are required to play the cartridge. It’s possible the patches improved the graphics and performance. I’d say both games are worth the total with both games on cartridge and being handheld is more immersive for me. No experience docked but I’d recommend a different system for this game if you want to play primarily on a larger screen like with most switch ports.

    Thalassophobia, here I come!

First off, if you have thalassophobia (fear of the ocean), you're in for a lot of nightmares. The whole premise of Subnautica is that your spaceship has crash landed on an alien planet. We've all been there basically except this planet has a massive ocean that you landed in. Do you know what's in an ocean!? There's a lot of different alien species in this particular ocean with some being useful for resources and others being absolute nightmares. Your goal is to survive during this. The game can be taken at your own pace and is very fun especially seeing what environments are around this ocean. Also included is Subnautica - Below Zero which is a sequel of sorts. Very good from what I've played, but I'll admit I've played more of Subnautica itself. Definitely worth a pickup!

    Awesome Double Pack

Subnautica is an underwater, first person exploration game. This is an excellent double pack, featuring the first game and the sequel below zero. Performance is a little poor on the switch, but manageable. For those susceptible to motion sickness or deep alien critters in dark underwater environments, proceed with caution!

No handholding which is good and bad (good imo). It may take a while to get things rolling but once you do it's a great game! A bit of slowdown on some areas but that's to be expected on switch for more demanding games. Definitely give it a try and go in blind if possible

Great underwater survival game! You also get two game with twice the gameplay. So many hours of gameplay for two games. If you want a game that will keep you busy, this is the one.

I bought this for my gf’s son. He loved the first game and couldn’t wait till the sequel came out. I surprised him with this switch version so he can play both anywhere. He’s loving it.

Its a good game, at first you feel like you have a purpose and direction on how to survive. But then you get an empty feeling of “whats the goal of the game?” The game does not tell you what the next step is after you fix your ship. Do you just explore and explore. Feels like minecraft but with better graphics. Overall its a good game when bought at discounted price like I did since you get 2 games in one.

It is a good game; will give you many hours of entertainment. But it only has some flaws. some texture and levels bugs and some crashes, but Devs are reported to be working on some solutions and patches, hope it is done before people begin to be unsatisfied. overall is a pretty good game and is recommended. The gameplay and controls are intuitive. easy to get accustomed with and the overall story is not a big thing, but is enjoyable.

This was for my daughter. She had purchased the download for the original game and had experienced a lot of glitching, then the same happened with the Below Zero. This was perfect! Both games, great price and no glitching!

I am really enjoying this game. I started on survival but decided the food and water maintenance was more of a headache for me and took away some enjoyment. I started the game over on the Freedom Mode and now that I don’t have to worry about eating and drinking every few minutes, I am loving it! Now I only have to worry about my oxygen and not attacked by creatures. A truly fantastic exploration game. It is struggling a little on the Switch. It’s not terrible but I’m also not real far into the game yet and it’s frequent enough that I’m taking off 1 star.

I have the original on another system, so I decided to buy this 2-pack to replay it. Both games run reasonably well, there is a bit of pop-in but it didn't ruin the experience. There were a few savegame-destroying bugs which are fixed now. It might be worth checking out Reddit to see if there are any new bug issues. The game itself (both have similar plots) is that you land on a planet and must explore while figuring how to get off of it. You gather materials and technological "recipes" while exploring deeper and deeper. There are a variety of biomes, creatures, and tools/vehicles.

A really fun take on a survival game where you are lost at see and have to keep yourself afloat so to speak. Two games are included for the price of one. Can't beat it
