Not the best camera out there

It would not connect to the wifi and the app wasn't working properly. Since it didn't work for me, I can't recommend this camera.

Not a right fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took this back after 1 minute of use. Didn't really give what we needed but got the upgrades version from Summer brand with Bluetooth camera that plugs in and angles down over the baby crib.

Great Travel Option

With a 2 year old son and another on the way we knew we needed a more basic way to keep tabs on the older one while we are away from home. The Liv Cam works great for the basics. The rechargeable battery is awesome if he needs a nap and we are away from an outlet. The suction cup / bendable hook works great to find a good spot in the room to aim the camera where he is sleeping. It's nothing special but allows us to know when he's up and ready to go or that he is still in bed. I did read some bad reviews on another site about issues with the app but saw the manufacturer apparently made some improvements. Ours has had no connection issues and we have been quite happy. Overall, it does the basics well and for the price this is a great portable monitor for parents.
