I wanted something that I could use that allows me to wire free. However, you must keep the heating pad connected to the USB at all times. The primary reason I purchased this was because it reads ON THE GO! Now how is this on the go if I have to be connected to a power source. Yes I know that I can use a power back but none of mine fit this USB connector. When I look at the instructions it shows two additional components that are NOT included. Apparently a storage bag and an USB wall adapter are suppose to be in the packaging.

This item can be used on different parts of your body... I like the fact that you can take it wherever you want. It's a travel-size item and great to store in any size compartment you have. It has different levels of heat so you can choose from low, medium, or high when you press the button. The box is smaller than the picture & the cord is short.. & heat doesnt get really hot even if its on high.. so if you want something that barely gets hot this item is for you!

Very simple operation and consistent, even heat. A few small design critiques:
- The pocket for the battery could be a bit larger to fit some larger power packs
-You have to slide the belt over your body - there isn't a clip to easily put on your waite

This heating pad is honestly one of the best purchases I have made in a while. I have chronic back pain and heat is the only thing that helps it. I've been having a lot of trouble leaving my house because I can't take my heating pad with me, but now with this USB one, I can. It comes with an extension cord for plugging into the wall or car, and it has a pocket with a shorter cord for using a rechargeable battery pack. That way, it can be taken on the go, and it can even be worn under clothing to be discrete. It has been a great buy for me, highly recommend if you're wanting a heating pad that is more portable.

Love, love, love this. I purchased it because I was driving 1200 miles round trip, and sleeping on a mattress that was less than great. I needed something that was compact but still got the job done. It heated up quickly, and was comfortable. Great for traveling! Nothing replaces the real thing (you know, those old school heating pads that you can use for like 60 yrs and it still gets wicked hot), but this was nice to have on the go.

The Sunbeam - GoHeat USB Powered Heating Pad - Gray is a good heating pad but it does not get as warm as a plug in pad.

This was an unexpected find and I'm so glad I found it. My 2006 Scion xA does not have heated seats and I've been having more back pain recently. This heating pad plugs in via USB to my car charger and had a long cord. The only downside is that the attachment strap doesn't fit around my car seat so I have to hold it in place with my back, but it's very comfortable.
