My son begged me for a hover board and have to say the 400$ price tag seems high but reading other reviews on other brands made me feel safer buying the swagtron hover boards. If you or your child have never rode one before this one is perfect for learning. I recommend using the included protectors because if you fall or from it the wheel wells are pretty flemsy. But over all a great product. But smart and buy the swagtron brand. Buying another for my daughter next month. Hope this review helps.

Had this hover board for about a week now...charged it up after taking out of box. Works great and my kids love it!!

I think this product is for a teenager that can balance themselves.

The first nice day we've had to take it out and my son fell and cracked the housing. For $350 I expected it to be a little more durable. Called geek squad and found out the geek squad product replacement that I'd purchased was a complete waste of a hundred bucks and doesn't cover physical damage. So now I'm out $450 and my kids can't even use the hoverboard because the cracked housing. Not impressed with the product and super unimpressed with Best Buy... this will definitely be my last purchase from best buy.

Very easy to ride and balance on. My son is 8 and has no problems at all riding it. When it becomes unbalanced it is very easy to get back on balance. The battery life is good. You are not to charge it for more than three hours so we do have to set a timer so we don’t forget. It does not go in the grass. We take it to the park and it does good. I highly recommend this as a first hover board.

I was skeptical at first, given all the rumors surrounding these things. So far, so good, however. This things got a lot of power for it's size and price. Bought this for my 13 year old and she couldn't be any happier. Long lasting battery and really moves. Saw some online for almost twice the price of these so I was worried this was a cheap model or junky toy. Glad to be disappointed honestly. Just wish there were more color options. Otherwise, very pleased. Get a carry bag for it though. It's pretty heavy and a little awkward for your kid to carry.

The kids love this thing they ride it everywhere good battery life and good power! It takes a bit to get used to it, but I use it to clean the house you can move in and out of rooms quick getting laundry trash and dishes done

My son had to have this self-balancing board. It is easy to maneuver and ride. The battery charged fast and stayed charged as indicated as long as you stayed on flat surfaces, but when battery was low it went extremely slow. My son wished that there was more lights on it and wasn't so heavy to carry. Especially when it goes dead and he had to carry it back home. Overall this product is worth the money.

Safest one on the market. Purchased for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it. It didn't take her long to learn. It's all in balancing. This model has the built in casing around the battery for added protection and a sense of comfort. We purchased a blue one from another retailers and immediately knew it was damaged cause the red death light stayed on. Returned it and looked for one locally and Best Buy is the only place that had it. They only had black though and she didn't want to wait. She's had it for a month and a half at this point and haven't experienced any problems. Spend the extra and get the extended warranty if you can. Overall we are pleased.

This is the best buy for the money. Very reliable and charges quickly. Will travel for a long distance with a single charge. Easy to use and operate

This is a pretty good board. It looks really good and the battery lasts a while on a charge. It's quick to recharge too. It is hard to get used to, but my kids had no problem with it! One thing I don't like is that they give you rubber protectors for the plastic above the wheels. They don't stay on very well as they just slide on. No tape or anything. You need them for when you are learning because when you fall off, the board does a summersalt and now mine is all scratched up. It is also heavy if you have to carry it anywhere. I would definitely recommend this product. It seems very well built and solid.

Love this hover board. I had read it came charged but mine did not and we had to let it charge for a hour before playing with it. Easy to ride and loved the option of pink.

Son got on and took right off. All of his friends have been able to ride without problems. Can't say the same for myself and my balance:-). He says it is better than the self balancing ones bc you can do more with it. It has taken a couple of flips and rolls when people jump off and has held up really well. Charge time is fast and holds charge for a long time. Great for the mid range price. Very pleased with this item!

Bought this for my son, he absolutely loves it. Easy to use, has a beginner mode that really helps. The battery life is great. Definitely a fun product.

This product is easy to use and relatively fast. The protective decals are not available for it yet so you have to be careful using it on the concrete until then, so you don't scratch it up, but other than that, it performs amazing!

These boards have improved so much over the paste few years. Runs for days on a single charge if your just messing around the house. Charging is fast, reliable, an safe. This board seems way more responsive and faster than some less expensive versions we've tried. Swanton is the way to go for this level of board!

Bought this for my daughters birthday... she really loves it, fairly easy to use (if you are not old :))
