Swann AllSecure4K+ 3 Cameras Wireless Security System. I’ve had security cameras for a number of years now. It’s given me a chance to prioritize what’s sensible for our home and satisfies our checklist. This new 3 camera Swann system checks off many of our needs, but you need to consider what your needs are. I was very impressed with the exceptionally high quality visuals from the cameras, the ease and flexibility of setup, but the connection range was short of what I’d hoped for. I would like to see a longer battery charge, but 3 months will satisfy most people and swapping out the battery is very easy. Our home size is challenging, spread out over one floor, with external and some internal stone and brick walls that test the capability of every router. Further testing and the likely firmware upgrades that follow many new products may improve on some of these parameters. But my nit-picking shouldn’t detract from the overall great impression the SWANN system leaves with a user. It delivers great images and has heightened sensitivity to intruders/
SETUP: This is a VERY easy setup. After charging 4 batteries (one for each camera and the Power Hub) I was ready to follow the very well done instructions to connect the Power Hub to a (temporary, well sorta) monitor and the ethernet. That 4th battery should also be thought of as an always ready-to-swap battery for a camera needing juice.
Simply inserting the batteries into the cameras and they were immediately linked to the Hub and images were appearing on my monitor. At this point, once I figure out the not always intuitive menu structure, I’m on my way choosing my preferred settings. There are many adjustable parameters (often sitting in unexpected places, at least for me.)
Download the App, create an account, use the camera scanner to read a code on the top of the Power Hub and the camera is a substitute for the monitor (in theory). Don’t rush to ditch the monitor, ‘cause it’s ultimately the more predictable way to control the SWANN system.
Distribute your cameras and check to see if the range is working for you.
PERFORMANCE and FEATURES: I was immediately impressed with image quality, strong signal and the flexibility of the system. Underneath this surface impression you discover a rich array of thoughtful touches that elevate the system into a top tier of home security camera systems. To begin with, I needed to dial back the camera sensing capability, because these cameras are especially sensitive to motion and apparently heat signature. They miss very little. Once setup, they don’t like to be touched or moved, That triggers alarms. Tampering with them is not possible. There is a built-in microphone and speaker for 2-way interaction with an intruder or an alarm can be triggered.
This package includes 3 cameras but a total of 8 can be managed using this Power Hub. The cameras have a 4K capability, but what they deliver to your monitor depends on the strength of the connection established by the Hub and camera. I believe I was achieving 4K images from my closed, front cameras as you can see from my pictures.
The cameras have extended night vision and color quality is enhanced by the sensor lights (Night2Day) which are triggered by motion and/or heat. I found the cameras could be triggered to record by vehicles passing 80 ft away. Approaching delivery people were easily recognized at 15 ft. and recorded.
There are a set of mounting stands for all cameras, Theft Deterrent Stickers, a couple of charging cables and mounting hardware. No wires are needed from the camera as a strong Wi-Fi signal delivers audio and video for the suggested distances which will cover many homes. A mouse is included so the menu selection process is immediately usable on your monitor.
I’m completely in charge of storage of my collected videos from all my system’s cameras. There is a 64GB storage card already formatted and in place. If I’m understanding the user guide, one of those USB ports on the Power Hub can be used to add up to a 4TB Hard Drive.
ISSUES: These are my personal demands and they are a bit picky. The SWANN system is designed to accommodate the needs of many users and it succeeds and excels in areas where competitors make compromises. I offer my issues for consideration.
Range of camera reception is somewhat more limited than I hoped for, especially via the phone App. Using the monitor connected to the Power Hub, performance appears so much stronger. This contributes to a sense of various camera parameters (image adjustments, detection zones etc) being unavailable when they are almost always available using the Hub/Monitor pairing. For this reason it seems that a monitor is not actually optional but necessary if the end user expects to fuss with the system regularly. The phone App won’t satisfy. In other ways like viewing recording it is fine.
The MENU location of various CAMERA parameters strikes me as odd. I must go to ALARM to modify Detection Sensitivity. Sorry SWANN. Not intuitive.
IMAGE Adjustments are significantly different depending on viewing on the TV monitor or via the camera. After I changed them for clarity and contrast on my monitor they were gray and dull on the phone. I had to Undo my changes. I know there will be differences depending on my adjustments but this was too far off.
SUMMARY: This is a great, fully featured, high performing, Security Camera set from SWANN. And you are in charge of storage. No subscription for off-site video storage is required although it is offered. The ease of setup makes it easy to recommend for novice users. The ability to simply get the SWANN AllSecure4K system quickly and reliably running with useful defaults also supports novice security camera owners. The deep array settings and adjustments leaves serious security minded business and home owners confident that they have control over their systems. I can recommend this as a security camera system I can build on.

As a homeowner who values both security and ease of use, I recently decided to upgrade my home surveillance system to the Swann AllSecure4K+ Wireless Security Kit. Here’s my thoughts on it based on installation, performance, features, and overall user experience:
Installing the Swann AllSecure4K+ was surprisingly easy. The kit comes neatly packaged with all necessary components and clear instructions. Setting up the cameras involved simply placing them in desired locations and connecting them over WiFI to the hub. Within minutes, they were up and running, thanks to the straightforward setup process. The kit comes with mounting screws for all three cameras, HDMI cable, Cat5 cable and a mouse to navigate the Hub.
Video Quality
The video quality of the Swann AllSecure4K+ is impressive. The 4K resolution ensures crystal-clear images and video footage. Whether it’s during the day or at night, the cameras capture details with clarity, which is crucial for monitoring purposes. The color night vision is particularly noteworthy, providing sharp images even in low-light conditions. If you decide you want more cameras the Hub can support up to an additional 5 cameras for a total of 8 all together. The cameras also come with a 2 way speaker so you can talk back to someone on the other side through the smart app.
Interface and Smart App
Managing the Swann AllSecure4K+ system is intuitive and accessible through both the hub interface and the Swann Security app. The hub acts as the central control point, allowing me to adjust settings, view live feeds, and playback recorded footage directly on my TV or monitor via a HDMI cord. The app, which is available on both iOS and Android, provides remote access to all camera feeds, alerts, and settings, ensuring I stay connected to my home’s security from anywhere. The app's interface is clean and user-friendly, with options to customize motion detection zones, set schedules, and receive push notifications for real-time alerts. I found the app's responsiveness and reliability to be impressive, providing a great peace of mind knowing I can check in on my home at any time when I’m away.
Battery Life
The advertised battery life of up to 3 months is accurate under ideal conditions. However, in high-traffic areas where the cameras are frequently triggered, the battery life understandably will decrease faster. A small complaint is that the battery chargers only came with 2x USB-A to USB-C cables and no charging bricks in the box for the 4x batteries. So, if you don't want to worry about charging the batteries and want to hardwire all 3 cameras you’re going to have to buy an additional cable from Swann because it has a special rubber cover. You will also probably have to get an extension USB cord because the cables are not that long enough, along with 3x charging bricks.
Storage and Subscription
The inclusion of a 64GB SD card for storage is convenient, which should be plenty of space but is upgradeable if you want more storage. In the settings you can clear space easily with picking the dates of when you want to delete it or setup after how many days you want the system to delete recordings. One of the most appealing aspects of the Swann AllSecure4K+ is its commitment to no subscription fees. Unlike many competitors, Swann provides full access to all features and functionality without any ongoing costs, making it a cost-effective choice for long-term security monitoring. Where they do offer subscription services for additional cloud storage and support features but it's not necessary.
Pros:
Easy Installation: Quick and hassle-free setup process.
Excellent Video Quality: 4K resolution with clear day and night vision.
Intuitive Interface: User-friendly hub and Smart app for easy management.
No Subscription Fee: Complete access to features without recurring costs.
Ample Storage: 64GB SD card included for local storage.
App: Smart phone app for viewing video feed, while away from the Hub.
Cons:
Battery Life Variability: May vary depending on traffic areas activity level.
Additional Cost: Added cost for the batteries being hardwired.
Overall, the Swann AllSecure4K+ Wireless Security Kit delivers on its promises of easy installation, high-quality video, intuitive interface, and cost-effective operation. It’s an ideal choice for those looking for a reliable home security solution without breaking the bank or the burden of subscription fees. While the battery life may fluctuate based on usage, the performance and features offered make it a solid investment for enhancing home security and giving you that peace of mind at the end of the day.

Security System so Simple to Install

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I have to say this Swann 4k wireless system is the easiest security system I’ve ever installed. Literally you only need to configure the NVR base. The hardest part was finding the right spot for the cameras. The simplicity comes from the cameras being pre-paired with the NVR. Once the NVR system is configured all you need to do is insert the batteries in the camera and the NVR will detect them automatically, requiring no additional configuration. The system is very well made, and that NVR can be placed practically anywhere. This AllSecure bundle comes with three wireless 4K cameras equipped with night vision, two-way speaker, siren and spotlight. The NVR has an HDMI with resolution up to 4K and features a battery charging dock, micro SD slot, 2 USB ports and Ethernet. It included a 64Gb SD card and of course you can expand that storage with a bigger SD card or a USB HDD.
The setup is very easy. Just connect the NVR to a TV or monitor and follow the onscreen instructions. I tried doing it through the app, but it seems the system needed to be connected to the internet first which reverts back to connecting the system to a display and doing it manually. As I mentioned before the camera does not require additional configuration all you need to do is insert the included battery and that’s it. If you are familiar with the Swann security system, the UI is basically the same. It Is not hard to get around it, though it could benefit from more modern visuals. The NVR's battery dock charges the battery and acts as a backup power source, keeping the NVR running for up to approximately five hours during a power outage. It uses the same battery as the cameras, allowing you to swap batteries between the cameras and the NVR when they need to be recharged. The battery can also be charged by itself with a USB-C cable.
The cameras deliver great resolution both day or night. The spotlights are bright, and the speaker and siren are about average when it comes to the sound. One of the cameras that I installed in front of the driveway experienced poor connectivity due to the garage door blocking the signal. I identified this issue through the mobile app when that camera wasn’t streaming. However, it connects and records fine with the NVR. When I opened the garage door, it worked fine. A way for me to find the right spot for the signal was to carry the NVR around the house while it was battery powered. Then I used the mobile app and waited until all the cameras started to stream. Yes, once that NVR is configured you can actually place it anywhere in the home where there’s a power outlet available and just access it via the app.
Overall, this 4K wireless security system bundle is excellent and easy for anyone to install. The minimalist cameras can be placed almost anywhere and offer great video and audio recording quality. The night vision is excellent, and with color provided when the spotlight is activated. The battery life on the cameras are rated for three months, and they are simple to recharge by just swapping them with the NVR battery. You have the option to store video locally or pay for cloud service. Local storage capacity can be expanded with a higher capacity SD card or USB storage. It can be connected to your smart home assistant such as Alexa, and Google home. With the mobile app you can stream or watch recorded videos on the go. In the box you get the NVR, 64GB card, three 4K wireless cameras, 4 batteries, wall mount kit, USB mouse, power supply, two USB cables, Ethernet and HDMI cable, security stickers and installation guide.

The Swann AllSecure4K+ Wire-Free Camera System is a comprehensive and versatile home security solution that has exceeded my expectations. With its array of advanced features, this system provides robust surveillance capabilities, ensuring peace of mind for any homeowner.
One of the standout features of this system is its wire-free design. The cameras come with rechargeable batteries that can last up to three months on a single charge, which eliminates the hassle of frequent recharging or wiring complexities. The inclusion of swappable batteries ensures that your security system remains operational without any downtime. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining continuous surveillance.
Weatherproofing is another significant advantage. The cameras are built to withstand various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow. This durability ensures reliable performance regardless of the season, making it an ideal choice for outdoor installations.
Storage and recording options are impressive. The system includes a 64GB micro SD card, providing up to nine months of free recording. Additionally, there is an optional cloud backup for those who prefer an extra layer of security. The Power Hub stitches activity clips together, offering fast and easy playback of recorded footage, which simplifies the review process.
The 4K Ultra HD video quality is exceptional. The high resolution allows for clear and detailed footage, making it easy to identify faces, license plates, and other crucial details. Coupled with the True Detect technology, which combines heat and motion sensors with intelligent person detection, the system delivers reliable alerts and recordings. This feature reduces false alarms and ensures that you are notified only of relevant activity.
The Night2Day Color Night Vision is another highlight. The powerful spotlight provides color night vision up to 65 feet, ensuring that your property is monitored even in low-light conditions. This capability not only enhances visibility but also acts as a deterrent for potential intruders.
The system's two-way audio feature is highly practical. It allows you to greet guests or warn intruders directly through the cameras, adding an extra layer of interaction and security. The built-in spotlight and sirens further enhance the system's ability to deter crime by spotting people and cars and scaring off potential threats.
One of the most remarkable features is the ability to operate without Wi-Fi. The system can be viewed on a TV via an HDMI cable and can record without the need for an internet connection. This flexibility ensures that your surveillance system remains functional even in areas with unreliable internet service.
The rolling storage system, which provides over nine months of encrypted data storage in the USA, ensures that your recordings are secure and accessible when needed. The system's ability to detect heat, motion, and human presence, coupled with its color night vision and swappable batteries, makes it a comprehensive and reliable security solution.
I installed one camera showing the front of my house, the other the driveway and the other the opposite side of my house. I will most likely add an expansion camera for the rear of my house.
In summary, the Swann AllSecure4K+ Wire-Free Camera System is an outstanding choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security. Its wire-free design, weatherproofing, long battery life, high-quality video, and advanced detection features make it a top-tier option. The additional benefits of color night vision, two-way audio, and the ability to operate without Wi-Fi further solidify its position as a leading home security system.

OK, the nSwann AllSecure4K+ 3 Cameras Wireless Security System is a decent system, but area's for opportunity
The good:
+ Excellent 4K camera immages
+ Set up was simple
+ Decent 2-way audio
+ Local Micro SD storage
+ Very good motion-detection
+ Unique heat sensing option
+ Impressive battery life
+ Comes with extra battery for quick swap
+ Main hub has battery charge port for spare
+ Impressive software for PC monitoring and video review
The bad:
- The included mouse
- The mouse is utterly worthless. I had to use an spare wireless mouse.
- The app
- My channel 1 works always on PC but only 10% of time on app.
- The support
- When contacted, the language barrier was impossible to overcome.
- Sent 3 E-mails and never got a reply. Dissapointing.
- The motion sensor works but doesn't identify if was human, animal or other
The ugly:
* The camera's are not the most aesthetically pleasing
* The antenna on top of camera sticks out like a sore thumb
End of the day, the system hardware is impressive. The ability view and manage clips on PC is excellent. That said, the app is pretty dissapointing, the mouse is useless and the support is not good.
I am going to keep them mmounted and might even buy more camera's, but soley for use on my PC and for activity management.

Having been through a variety of security camera setups over the years, we have recently been looking into potentially switching from our current wireless security system to something with newer technology. This was due to our current semi-outdated hardware with our current system. The new Swann AllSecure4K wire-free security kit caught our attention because of its hardware, software features, well-known brand and price point. We wanted something wireless with local storage, an option for cloud storage, had long range connections, can sense and detect per and great video which the AllSecure4K security kit claimed to have. It sounded great on the surface until we actually had the opportunity to use it over several days.
The AllSecure4K system was simple and self-explanatory to set up out of the box with little to no reliance on the instructions. Once the batteries were charged and the hub plugged in, I was able to begin the rest of the installation process on my monitor attached to the hub using the included mouse and via my smartphone app. All three cameras synced automatically to the hub and my account so there was no need for instructions; I’m not sure if that’s because they came with that hub in the kit or if that happens with any additional cameras you wish to add in the future. The images on the monitor attached to the hub were clear however had some lag in the footage ever with the cameras directly next to the hub, not where they would ultimately end up after mounted on our house which I will talk about later. After they were synced, I began the installation process for the cameras after determining the best placement for them on the front of our house. The cameras were very easy to mount using the provided mounting hardware and only two screws. The four included batteries are supposed to last up to three months however I was not able to test out that claim since I didn’t spend three months with them installed and I’m sure that varies depending on usage and whether you have the LED lights go on/off with motion. It is convenient that the hub charges the fourth battery and they make it easy to swap out once a battery goes dead. The cameras claim to be weatherproof and have 2-way audio which I typically have never found much use for with the exception of a doorbell/doorlock camera when answering the door remotely but it is an added feature.
After the camera installation, I returned to the hub to check my connections since the cameras were much further away now and it showed I still had Wi-Fi reception on both the hub and my smartphone app. Apparently the system does function without the need for Wi-Fi meaning you can connect it to your devices straight to your phone and the hub however you would not be able to connect to the system remotely. The real test would come once I started receiving push notifications and attempted live view and this is where some of the issues started. Because the system uses a hub and not just a Wi-Fi connection, it’s recommended you place the hub somewhere unobstructed and within range of where the cameras are mounted, not just where you’re able to get a Wi-Fi reception. The connection lag is even worse when I’m not at home on my Wi-Fi as sometimes it will take minutes or never connect at all while I’m trying to view something live or recorded. Needless to say, this is not ideal for any security system as you’ll want to ensure you can view live video and review recordings in the event of an emergency. This caused me to reposition the hub and make another attempt at fine tuning the system therefore I found a better spot closer to all three cameras and less obstructed than I initially had. After the first change in location where I placed the hub still well within my Wi-Fi range and closer to the cameras, I tested the connection and live stream again to see if it changed anything. Nope, still the same issues after a day of use. I would get notifications and when I would go into the smartphone application, there would be, most times, minutes of lag before I was able to view any recorded footage and the live feed was even worse. I figured perhaps the third and fourth times moving the hub throughout our house might change but they didn’t; I still had a horrible time viewing recordings and especially attempting to get any live feed. I went through all the troubleshooting steps and nothing worked to improve the connection and the reception. In most cases I was unable to see any of the videos through the app and, in some cases, it wouldn’t connect to the hub even while on my own Wi-Fi. When viewing, or thinking I was viewing live video because that’s what screen I was on in the app, it actually wasn’t live and was from minutes before, would cut in and out, and constantly glitch. Moving the hub around also isn’t convenient when you need a place you can connect it to a monitor to view live feed and/or recordings so placing it somewhere I hadn’t planned on getting full use out of it defeated the purpose of it altogether.
The app and hub when connected to the monitor do have several features and customizations however was missing some other features offered by other manufacturers including setting up activity zones where you can focus on or ignore certain areas in view such as flags that wave that may constantly set off your motion alerts. The app would also crash periodically after not responding which, again, was extremely frustrating. There is a feature that claims to identify and distinguish between people, cars and animals but that would rarely work as intended.
After several days of testing and use with the same results, I ended up uninstalling the Swann system and reverting back to our old system where I could at least have a mostly reliable and responsive live feed and be able to access my recordings without issues. Overall, I was very disappointed and frustrated with this Swann system and would suggest you look elsewhere if you want responsive and reliable security footage.

I recently acquired the Swann AllSecure 4K+ Wireless Security Kit hoping to enhance the security around my property. After spending some time with the product, I have mixed feelings about its performance.
The image quality provided by the cameras is impressive, delivering crisp and clear footage that is essential for a security system. The setup process was relatively straightforward, and the accompanying application proved to be user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and customize settings.
However, my experience took a turn when the software failed to update during the setup process, causing frustration and leading me to abandon the update attempts altogether. The software interface, although functional, felt outdated and not something I see myself using regularly.
I found the Android app associated with the security kit to be quite intuitive and user-friendly. The app's interface was well-designed and easy to navigate, allowing me to access and control the system's settings once I familiarized myself with it. This aspect of the product did enhance the overall user experience and provided a convenient way to manage the security system remotely. Unfortunately, it is also slow to display live feed and playback at times. (see more below)
I also have not found a way to update the Hub firmware/software from the App.
I really appreciate that the hub also acts as a battery charger for an extra battery, and doubles as a battery back up in case you lose power. Nice options.
The kit also comes with a 64GB Micro SD card for your local recordings, and they also offer Cloud back up at additional cost.
The camera installation process was relatively simple, requiring only a few screws and minimal effort. The brackets provided worked well, ensuring a secure mount for the cameras. However, I encountered connectivity issues once the cameras were mounted. Despite positioning the hub in various locations, including the center of my house and the garage for optimal coverage, I experienced inconsistent connections with the cameras placed in different corners of my property.
The cameras often struggled to maintain a stable connection, resulting in poor signal quality and erratic recording and response times. Even after relocating the Wi-Fi mesh router to the garage, the issues persisted, disappointing me with the overall connection reliability of the system.
Another drawback I encountered was the over-sensitive motion detection, particularly with the front camera facing the yard and road. The camera triggered false alarms with every passing vehicle, even after adjusting the detection zones (found in Settings/Hub/Channel settings/[your camera]/Detection Zone) and sensitivity settings in the app, which proved ineffective in resolving the issue.
In addition to the connectivity issues and motion detection problems I previously mentioned, I also noticed that the playback and recording features were less than ideal. The playback experience was often jerky and not as smooth as expected, making it challenging to review footage effectively.
The cameras also have a 2-way Talk & Listen ability, but with the delay I experience with live view, this function would be less than effective.
As far as battery consumption goes, the cameras have been set up for 3 days and I went from 100% to 83%, 83% and 80% with moderate traffic. Hopefully with further tweaking I can get less triggers and longer life. At the current rate, I will be lucky to get 30 days before having to charge.
Despite the positive aspects, the issues with connectivity, motion detection, and playback quality detracted from the system's overall performance and reliability. While the Swan All Secure 4K Plus Wireless Security Kit has its strengths, such as excellent image quality and a user-friendly app, the shortcomings in connectivity and functionality limit its effectiveness as a comprehensive security solution. The range from the Hub to the cameras is just not up to par.
Perhaps a firmware update is needed?
As a result, I found myself disappointed with the system's ability to provide consistent and reliable security coverage for my property. I would not recommend this system until the connection aspect is addressed. I believe if you were to take that problem out of the equation this could be a great system.

Hello Mukman,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Allsecure 4K system. We are glad to hear you find value in the product and see where there may be room for improvement. Please know that frequent opening of the Swann Security app, too many motion detections, and poor WiFi signal can contribute to the fast discharge of the battery. Luckily, the removable batteries on these cameras make charging a breeze. Swann sells additional charging batteries under model SONVW-600BATT, allowing you to have a fully charged battery. Please visit our support page or contact us over the phone for further assistance.

Out of the box these look very nice. Each of the three cameras and base station comes with a large maH battery cell which is charged via USB-C. That means you can have a fully wireless and instantly portable security system. How cool is that? Install is very easy. Base station connects to a TV via hdmi and comes with a mini mouse. App setup was equally easy. Minor hiccup is that the app password doesn't take normal apple password recommendations and it's always a pain to modify and save etc. Another problem here that was surprising is that account registration is not connected to the Swann website so you actually have to register twice.
Hardware install is simple. Couple of drilled holes and the plates mount into the wall. Each camera is screwed onto the plate and proper tension applied to the camera so that it can be positioned in any angle.
The whole setup can be access on the app. One other issue here is that the app actually is only partially featured. The full setup can only be accessed from the base station tv, or connecting to the base station via web browser. This is needed to access more features like configuring the cameras to connect to your wifi instead of directly to the base station which helps connectivity if they are far.
One issue I found was in connectivity. Even directly connected to the base station one of the cameras shows as medium connectivity despite only ten feet away. Connecting the farther cameras to the wifi network appears to help but they are still rated as LOW even with an expensive wifi router.
Each camera has light, motion detection, two way audio. One time the alarm, audio stopped working on one of the cameras however a system reboot corrected it. Image quality is great. As well as playback for multiple cameras.
Battery life is maybe 4-5 days. Charging is fast and removing/inserting the batteries is simple if you can access the cameras without a ladder. Permanent wired install is also an option however.
Live view camera access takes maybe 5 seconds from the app. I have another camera that's WAAY slower. And audio lag is pretty minimal actually.
All-in-all these is an extremely capable system. Apart from some issues I am pleased with it.
I would recommend this to a friend

I have many security camaras from different brands, but this is the first security system I have tried. So far, I am impressed with Swann closed circuit NVR system.
*Installing*
Installation was straightforward. I started by pairing all the cameras to the hub using the app. Signing up and getting everything up and running took about ten minutes. Once that was done, I mounted cameras and placed them in areas that were easy to access and reach, since the batteries have to get switched out periodically.
*Power Hub NVR*
The power hub is the main control center for the system. It records and stores videos into the included 64GB micro-SD card and it houses the spare 4th battery. If there is ever a power outage, this spare battery is used to power the hub and keep surveillance running. The cameras run on battery packs and are completely free of wires. My power hub was accidentally disconnected from the ac power for several hours and it kept working and recording the entire time. Days later, I had a power outage and again, videos were recorded in the hub with no issue. This feature brings a lot of peace of mind.
*Battery charge*
Battery charge varies greatly on recorded activity. A week after putting in fully charged batteries, I have one at 76%, 64%, and my backyard one at 44%. The backyard one is working almost around the clock because I have a garden and shade cloth that move in the wind plus a lot of bird life that trigger it constantly. I have lowered the sensitivity to 25% and it has greatly reduced the number of events recorded, as well as slowed battery drain.
*Heat & Motions Sensing and 4K Video*
Heat and motion sensing is obviously fantastic, as alluded to above, a little too much in the case of my backyard. It records people walking by before they are out of sight and gets a clear picture of the action. The 4K quality captures really crisp, clear, and detailed videos.
*2-way audio*
The speakers have 2-way audio and, when it works, it produces good sound that is audible several yards from the camera and only about 1-2 seconds delayed. But it works inconstantly, at times without snag, at others it will work the first few times push-to-talk is pressed and then cease to produce sound thereafter. I am not sure what happens to cause this, but after a few minutes of doing something else on the app, it will start working again.
*The Night2Day*
The Night2Day Color Night Vision works extraordinarily well. If the spotlight is on, the camera records in color rather than black and white. Somehow that spotlight manages to record a large dark backyard in color exceptionally well.
*Spotlight*
The spotlight can be motion triggered or on/off indefinitely. They come with the default of motion-triggered spotlight. I turned them all off until I placed where I intend to keep them because it was blinding and annoying to have them on constantly as I worked with them. At this time, I have two set-up to light up at night. I will admit, it was difficult to find out how to turn them off. If this is you, go to Devices (gear symbol)>My Devices>Alarm and from there you can choose the setting for each camera individually.
*Works without Wi-Fi*
The system is wireless closed circuit, so it does not need Wi-Fi to work. The hub gets the signal from the camera and stores everything locally. I did not realize that the hub had gone offline in the process of reconnecting it after it had been unplugged. The entire time I was able to view live events and stored memory using my monitor but not through the app. Once I used the set-up wizard to get it back online, I was able to use the app once again.
*Mobile App*
The app is simple and straightforward, with a tab for activity, playback, live view, modes, and devices. It also has an option to send videos to a Dropbox account. The app provides a 90-day free trial of their Secure+ Plan. It is not necessary to use the system or record locally but provides extra bells and whistles like 60 days cloud storage.
*Connect it to a monitor*
I highly recommend a monitor or tv to hook up the hub to. It provides menu options and a set-up wizard that are not available through the app. Apart from that, there is always a live feed and updated videos coming through as they are recorded. The one downside is the program seems a bit rudimentary and could use refinement to make it more intuitive. I have trouble finding settings and remembering how I got to them previously.
*Final Comments*
I am thoroughly enjoying this system thus far and even considering expanding it. I love having everything in a CCTV and the peace of mind that comes with it operating independent of Wi-Fi and consistent electricity. It is overall well-done and it feels like Swann made with the customer in mind. I could see some room for improvement in the hub’s program, but that is about it.

Swann 4K wireless security system with motion and heat sensors check all the boxes when it comes to home security. Swann delivers a stable system with endless options for storage, upgrades, and monitoring, not to mention exceptional battery life.
**In the Box**
Three 4K wireless security cameras
4 batteries with charging cable
Hub with Power Adapter and HDMI Cable
Mounting Screws, Mounts, and Templates
Instructions
Security Stickers
**Setup**
When reading the instructions the first time, there is a lot of information to review. I was a little intimidated, but I can assure you setup was very straightforward as I will explain:
The good news is there is a lot of detail if you need it, but the steps are quite simple.
Step 1: Begin charging your batteries with the USB cable (use any phone charger block.) Each batteries takes approximately 30 minutes to charge. LED will turn green when ready.
Step 2: Power up your base station with the power adapter, plug in your mouse to the USB Connection, and connect the HDMI to any open port on your TV. Switch to that HDMI channel to begin setup.
Step 3: Step through the setup on your TV screen by choosing names, passwords, and options, along with choosing your Wifi channel
Step 4: Put your batteries in each camera. You will now see each of them appear on your TV screen. Now you can walk around the exterior of your property and install. I’ve installed 2 on the front of my house on both ends, and one covers the back yard. You will most likely recognize the mounts being used, they’re fairly common and easy to install.
Step 5: Download the app, register and sign-in. I received 90 days free of the Secure+ unlimited plan with my cameras.
Setup is complete.
**Features**
4K Color at Night
Motion and Thermal Sensors
Cloud and local storage options for SD Cards and External Hard Drives
IP66 Rated cameras to protect from rain, snow, and heat
Wireless camera operation
Alarm Feature
2-way audio
Videos can be played back at different speeds
**Performance**
Wireless range claims up to 100 feet, with a typical range of 50 feet. I had no problems with wireless range or signal at ranges up to about 60 feet. You will get a Wifi Signal strength indicator in your camera status within your app. You can set a light on or siren on when it detects motion. Additionally, there is a detection zone that you can customize to remove specific areas from alerts. Display is 4K Ultra HD with a viewing angle of 110 degrees. You can step down to SD if you want to save data. I found the motion sensor very accurate. I was picking up subjects easily 40 yards away in HD color. The heat and motion sensors in the cameras help differentiate between people/pets and unimportant objects like insects or tree limbs blowing. Faces were very easy to see in HD mode. You can adjust sensitivity and camera zones with 3 different modes: Home, Night and Away. There is also a manual sensitivity adjustment if you want to increase or decrease your alerts. Diving a little deeper into the PIR, these cameras have passive infrared detection. This is a new technology that detects changes in heat which helps the camera detect people and also eliminate factors like shadows, rain, leaves, tree limbs, etc…These are important factors in detecting real events, but also saving valuable battery life.
**Conclusion**
The Swann 4K wireless cameras have everything I need in outdoor security cameras. They are surprisingly easy to setup. They are wireless with batteries that can last a few months once you have optimized your camera settings. There is a wide viewing angle that covers my entire backyard and much more in the front of my house. I’ve got it setup to view cameras on both my living room TV and the Swann app on my phone. I highly recommend this system based on ease of setup, stable connectivity, crisp resolution, accurate detection, and outstanding battery life, all without the hassle of wires. I'm giving it 5 stars without hesitation.
**Pros**
*Wireless
*Thermal detection give you greater detection accuracy
*Battery Life
*App has everything you need
*Instructions are thorough
*You can add up to 8 cameras total
*NVR can charge battery too
*Can be operated without subscription if you choose
**Needs Work**
*I would like a pan feature but wide angle makes up for it
*Instructions are greatly detailed but I would prefer a quick summary/cheat sheet

Using and installing home security cameras for years now, I have some experience with the pros and cons of the different brands and features of these security cameras. I have wired and wireless but this particular unit will be my first 4k wireless and the short of it, I am really impressed with it. My current wired system is an older Swann 1080p wired dvr system. I told myself after installing and running the wires around the house that I would never do that again LOL. My old fat self navigating the attic was probably not the safest thing. The wife said she kept expecting to see me come through the ceiling LOL. Well, this unit, after installation worked flawlessly with the current Swann app and it integrates with the wired cameras. Speaking of installation, Swann made it about as simple as you can get. Charge the batteries, plug in the hub and attach all the cables which they provide, then insert batteries into camera. The camera automatically hook up to the hub and boom you will be able to see it on your monitor. Literally that easy.
Swann also gives you stickers with pre-marked holes so you can drill the screws into for your mount. No more marking holes. I used only one of the mounts they gave me because I chose locations where I had to use different type of mounts. You can find almost any type of mounts for almost all applications on the internet. I needed 1 gutter mount and 1 flexible goose mount as you can see in my pictures. And with the solar panels connected, I never have to worry about charging the battery. There is one camera which I installed in my backyard which I did not add the solar panel. This camera location I thought was very accessible to change the battery and I thought adding a solar panel would look ugly. This brings me to another brilliant thing Swann did. The hub also has an extra battery installed inside giving you 2 amazing features. When the battery in the camera gets low, all I have to do is swap it out, there is always a fully charged battery ready. The second is if there is ever a power outage, your hub will continue to run and record your security cameras. Genuis!!! The last thing I need to mention is when I open my Swann app, the clarity of the older camera and these 4k camera, is evident. Although, because 1 is wired and the other is wireless, it takes a couple of seconds longer for the wireless to load. Another small negative, well small to me, is that the battery isn't lasting as long as Swann stated. So far, after a week of use, the battery is now at 50%. I might end up getting a solar panel for that 1 camera as well. This is the security system you should get if you want a wireless system, period.

Swann makes setting up a secure surveillance system easy with many options to choose from. Now in a market with many wireless/wifi cameras that require a subscription service to get the most out of your system, this kit takes it a step above that. They do offer an extended subscription service for cloud based recording but you do not need it since it comes with a 64gb micro SD card to allow for local storage plus you can expand by using a external drive. The setup was fairly simple, the hardware looks decent enough even though it looks very much like plastic all over. I would be curious to find out how the cameras will take on our mid west weather with brutal colds and hot summers. The battery is the other concern of mine. I have already had to recharge one camera being that it is the one that has the most action and sees plenty of movement and triggers notifications. The battery is rated to last 3 months (based on 500 seconds of recording a day) and with that I had to recharge the battery 8 days later. In the app, I had an issue after setup where I could not reconnect to my NVR power hub until I went in via the desktop settings to reset the device. I also have issues with seeing if I could check for updates on the camera or power hub. The camera themselves seem to randomly disconnect at weird times and they trigger the buzz alert when they reconnect. My hope is that they fix these random bugs since I plan to keep this system for a long time to extend the range of my current Swann PoE cameras and see how they fare with extended range outside in my back yard.

Hello HoMi3. Thank you for sharing your feedback on the AllSecure4K system. We are happy to learn you find value in it and plan to keep it for many years. In regards to the battery life please know the biggest impact on battery life is the number of clips you're recording each day and how long each clip lasts for. The batteries on these cameras should last about 2-3 months for most people. If you're seeing too many clips I would recommend trying to reduce the number of false triggers by (1) angling the cameras differently or repositioning them (2) ensuring you have PIR + Person Detection enabled; (3) Reducing the motion sensitivity; (4) Putting a Motion Grid in place to ignore parts of the scene that are giving false triggers (cars, trees or concrete are common); (5) reduce the clip duration. Please visit our support page or contact us over the phone for further assistance.

I currently have a wired Swann system that I like very much. But thought the wireless system could cover some of my blind spots without having to run even more wires. And setup was an absolute breeze. But as much as I wanted to like this system I just can’t because the wireless performance just doesn’t work for me.
Quick background: I have a Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Router, some know how about wireless networks, 500/50 internet speed on 5 GHz, where my 2.4 GHz is about 30 – 60 down 30 – 50 up. With some mesh components diffusely in my house but mostly relying on separate networks over a fully mesh system as that gives me more control. My house is about 2000 square feet. You are able to pair the cameras either to the wireless base station or directly to a 2.4 GHz wireless network. Which is nice. I had two of the cameras in my front yard, 1 in my backyard. I tried both connecting to the Wireless Base Station and my Wireless network. Would get moderate to strong signals on my other wireless peripherals but with these I would only get “low signal”. Which lead to it almost never bringing up on my mobile device through the Swann app. But would work after several seconds of loading on the physical wireless base station attached to a monitor. But was not consistent enough to make it viable. Even bringing the devices inside and right next to the base station all three cameras were registering “low signal” with occasional “moderate signal”. I have a hard time thinking I have three duds. While I understand that 2.4 GHz has wider range. It is also highly saturated and slower. I would like to start seeing 5 GHz being supported in the future.
As for accuracy, I tried to set it up only to give me notifications with people. But was getting 90% or higher false flags. Battery life due to this was also going by quickly. It was in a challenging spot with a lot of shadows. I did my best to limit that, turn down some settings, and make sure the spots I wanted checked were highlighted. Which helped a bit. But in general did not perform well compared to others I’ve tried including their wired system which again, I use and like a lot.
Picture quality was hard to give a review. As the streams with it being wireless were coming in very low resolution. However, when it was a good connection, the picture was great. The night vision was simply the best I’ve seen where I could see EVERYTHING.
I love that you don’t have to have a subscription (though they do offer one) and it accepts either a microSD or you can plug in a hard drive. I didn’t try plugging in a hard drive but there was a port for it. I didn’t physically check those recordings either for picture quality. Though I should have.
The Box is awesome as it is lightweight and has a charger inside it for a battery. Where you can charge 1 battery which also works as back up power incase the power goes out your cameras are still working and recording. Brilliant.
I didn’t have a lot of time to test battery life. They all started at 90-ish% and one of my cameras (with the most action) got to 50%, the others were around 80 – 85% after about a week of use. Again, lots of problems between crazy pings, low signal strength, and me pinging it to test it a lot leads to quicker battery life drain. They do support solar panels sold separately. But I cannot say how good or bad it is based on my very limited testing.
It does support 2560x1440 monitors along with 1080 and 4k. Supports high end wired gaming mouse. Also, comes with a high-end HDMI cable. Which was surprising as it had gold tips.
CONCLUSION:
What bums me out about this guy is they do nearly everything right. But the signal strength is so bad that it ruins the rest of the device. Making it so I cannot recommend it. But if others don’t struggle with signal strength like I do then it may be worth a go.

The vie of the image is awesome, very clear and they are very. Easy to install, just need a drill and ladder and time to do it I I install them in less than 30 minutes. It’s hassle free because it’s batería operated. The only thing is that batteries didn’t last charged as advertised, they only last 36 hours, and you have to recharge them again. I try to adjust the settings to see if I got a difference wit no luck I returned them and bought the same but wired and I’m still testing them.

I am so happy with the Swann allsecure4k+ wireless security kit, and the expansion/upgrade of my current system. I was using a single wifi camera for my home, as I already had a doorbell cam, both non-Swann products that I was less than happy with. The doorbell cam is decent, so I kept that. But the camera I have was not great. Why? Because they use their own system that requires a monthly payment if you want to use the features that you NEED. So I love at the end of a T intersection in my neighborhood and people use it to do a U turn all the time. So when I first had the camera set up it recorded only on movement and in specific zones I was able to set up. So the camera didn't trip constantly. Those features are gone once the trial period ends and they want me to pay close to what I am paying for my home monitoring system. Not a chance.
So I now have this Swann kit and I cannot be happier. Their app was something I was familiar with, as I already have a Swann floodlight camera in my backyard. I love the integration with the home and the quality of the picture already. I have an iPhone so if yu just allow notifications you get notifications when it trips. Once you get your settings where you want them, the cameras are fairly accurate. I say fairly, because I have some larger sized bushes in view of one camera, and they tend to trip the motion settings and it records it as a person. Which at first is a shocking thing, but I am going to see if I can adjust the sensitivity a little and increase the accuracy. But as far as the app, it is very user friendly and intuitive.
The cameras themselves to me are the best part. The images are SHARP and crisp, and with my internet (1GB speed, although it rarely reaches that level) it works well. My favorite feature by far is the night vision. The detail and way it seems to brighten things up just amazes me. The tech has really come a long ways with this sort of thing.
There is also two way comms via the cameras. Talk about a good way to scare the hell out of someone! Plus at night time there is a spot light. Super effective. The 4K ability of the cameras are immediately noticed and the picture quality is really nice and crisp.
Mounting the cameras was super easy. I walked the yard and looked at the different locations where I wanted to cover. Since I have three, I wanted to overlap two in the front and have the third cover the backyard. Once I identified what I wanted to cover I determined where I wanted to post them and for me it worked out to be the two corners in the front. It was easy to screw on base on the walls and the camera arms attach right to them and are easy to adjust. Once you have them attached, I used the app to "see what the camera sees" and fine tuned it. Easy peezy.
I cannot attest to how weather proof they are, even though I live in a rainy state. I used the overhangs to shield the cameras. I figured that would add some longevity to them. I also could not really see a noticeable difference when popping the antenna up or leaving it flat.
The hub or base station has a really cool feature. First, let me say that when you get three cameras, you get FOUR batteries. What a novel idea right?! So when one battery goes low, you can swap out the battery with a charged battery. And in the back of the base station, there is an opening to charge the batteries. So you don't need to use a cord and do it, you just pop it in and about five hours later it is fully charged. The base station has enough memory to hold two years of recordings, according to the manual. After that, it begins to write over the old data like any security system. So back up your data for any incidents you have so you can avoid losing it in the future.
I am by far no security expert. I do like the idea of extra security, even though I am in a pretty good neighborhood with almost no incidents to speak of. But this is peace of mind for the unknown. If you want a nearly plug and play system that is both easy to install and use, this is a really good security system for you. I recommend it for anyone needing a quality product at a reasonable price, and that does not want to drill into your house or have a professional do the install.

The Swann AllSecure 4K security kit is a great monitoring system for home or business.
This AllSecure4K+ kit comes with a hub, three wireless cameras, three mounting kits, four batteries, an Ethernet cable, and a corded mouse. In short, it’s everything you need to get started, except for a monitor and mouse.
Setup is a breeze. You power up the hub, connect the corded mouse, your router, and your monitor, set your administrator’s password, connect to WiFi when prompted, and put the batteries in your cameras. You’re on your way.
Camera installation is simple, as the included mounting kits are easy to use and secure. Because the batteries charge without the camera, you can install your cameras without regard to removing them later, and simply focus on the most secure locations. You’ll also want to use sunny areas, as these cameras run on solar power when available. With their weather resistant design and wide operating temperature range, the Swann 4K cameras can be mounted almost anywhere (depending on your climate, of course). The batteries are large and designed to last up to three months, but if you, like me, live in a very sunny area, it seems that you’ll get even longer life. The extra battery is extremely handy, as you can charge a low battery without losing any coverage.
Once set up, the system works perfectly. Images are extremely clear and refresh quickly, and show a wide field of vision (110 degrees). I also have a set of Swann 2K cameras, and the difference in clarity is remarkable. The night vision is crisp, and the spotlights provide image clarity as well as a deterrent to would-be miscreants. With two-way communication, you can instruct delivery drivers or have a short conversation from wherever you are. And with sirens that you control from the app, you can let whoever is there know that they have been seen while alerting the neighbors that something’s up at your house.
You can monitor the cameras through the hub-attached monitor or the app. (Note that there is no reason to use a dedicated monitor, simply connect the hub to your monitor’s second HDMI port and flip over when you want to see something. Or, you can be like me and only use the monitor if the phone / tablet screen is not large enough to make out the details you need.
Motion detection is extremely good and with the wide field of vision, anything that approaches will be captured. The included heat sensors are able to distinguish between leaves blowing and a person approaching, although one of my cameras has identified a bear walking past my door as a person. But, I suspect these weren’t designed with bears as the main focal point. Captured events are stored on a local SD card (64Gb card included), or there is an optional cloud-based service that you can subscribe to. I really appreciate that you don’t have to pay a subscription fee to use this kit.
Overall a powerful, easy to use system with great features.
I would recommend this to a friend

The Swann AllSecure 4K Wireless Security Kit with 3 Wire-Free Cameras is a complete security camera system for a home. It comes with 4 rechargeable batteries - 1 is a spare that can be charged within the back of the NVR hub for easy pop-out pop-in use in a camera, or in a power outage it serves as a power back-up for your hub. It also has a 64gb micro-SD card, a mouse (more on that later), an HDMI cable, an ethernet cable, charging cables, theft deterrent stickers, mounting templates, screws, etc. Everything needed for easy install of the wireless system. After charging the batteries and getting the hub set up on my wifi, I plugged the hub into my TV via the HDMI cable and the mouse into the hub. At that point, the system layout showed up on my TV screen. I found the included instructions to be confusing with 3 separate pamphlets for different parts of the setup, and a non-sequential numbering system. Some instructions just didn't make sense for the system I have, but II managed to make my way through it. Next, to pair up the 3 cameras. This part wasn't even mentioned in the instructions. I finally found a screen in the app that showed me that all cameras were not paired, so I attempted to pair them by holding down the button on top of each camera until the red light started to blink then telling it to pair. I got it to work, but it was a slow process. I didn't think anything was happening but after a couple minutes, suddenly the cameras would show up on the TV screen. Further setting up of each camera was painstakingly difficult and quite time-consuming. It seemed after every setting adjustment, I had to wait minutes for that change to take affect, eg changing the name of a camera, making adjustments to the hue, contrast, etc. And this adjustment was after I searched throughout the app for settings I needed.
However difficult I found the setup to be, the actual install was simple and painless. With this Swann system being 100% wireless, it enabled me to position each camera where it gave me the best view of the surrounding areas I wanted to monitor. The cameras are quick to react to motion, each time letting me know via notification if it is just motion or if it is a person. Of course, it isn't always perfect, but at least I know something/someone is there. Or... maybe it's just the tree branches moving. Adjusting the sensitivity and the area monitored helped me make that less of an issue. It does not provide facial recognition, but maybe with a future software upgrade? The video I get is extremely sharp. It is really impressive. The 4K does make a difference - the detail is stunning. At night it is obviously not as clear, but it does have color night vision that enables clear video with even a tiny bit of light. Even with no light, it gives me video I can see. When I have the spotlights enabled, I always have crystal clear color video. I don't have the siren enabled because it is quite loud and I don't want it to disturb my neighbors until I have the motion adjustments set better. Oh, and the 2 way audio, though it has a bit of a delay, helps me speak to workers in my yard even when I can't be there!
I feel much more secure knowing the Swann AllSecure 4K Wireless Security Kit is at work! I can see what is causing those noises I always hear, so I don't have to be worried. I feel my kids are safer outside when I can monitor them. An added plus, there are no monthly fees, unless you opt into one of their plans but you aren't required to do so. This is a fantastic system that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for camera security.
