At first I thought this little thing would not be useful...but then I used it. I don't always sleep the best and when my back knots up because of this, and its not easy to find someone to try to rub the knot out. With this, you don't have to!!! I put mine up in the shower and worked the knot out in minutes! Its great to apply pressure to what you can handle and what works best for you. If my planter fasciitis acts up, I bet this will take care of it fast!!! Attach to the floor and roll your arch over it to break up the tightness on the arch. The ball is small enough to use to work the hands as well.
I have only been using for a few days so I cannot attest to how long it will last or how durable it is, but it does look sturdy. The suction to the wall feels strong but the instructions say not to keep it in one place for too long. Simply flip the tab and poof...suction is released!
I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a way to loosen up tight muscles or just stretch.

This is the perfect item for sore backs. It is really easy to mount - on door frames, walls, and anything else really. If you want to move it or change the height off the ground, that's really easy to do and so far there has been so loss of suction after moving it multiple times.
It also does a really good job on sore muscles and sore backs. After using it, my back and muscles feel so much better, almost as if I just had a massage. And since it's easily moveable, it's really fast to adjust it on the wall to address other muscles. Overall, I highly recommend this item based on its effectiveness as well as its portability and ease of use and reinstallation. The ball is not soft though so the pressure applied is dependent on your specific needs, but you of course control that pressure. You can also use it on other muscles besides your back, including your arms, legs, and anywhere else. I use it mainly on my back but it does work well on other muscles. Again, it works great and I highly recommend it!

I have a lot of back problems from sitting in an office chair all day at work. This is perfect for me to use to help with tension in my back. It sticks to the wall very easily and never came off even with lots of pressure and motion. I was worried that taking it off the wall would take off the paint due to how strong it was on the wall. Thankfully it came off the wall easily and left no marks. In the instructions it does specifically say to remove it from the wall after use. So, I'm not sure if any damage would happen if you left it on the wall. The paint on my walls is just contractor grade white, nothing special. I would probably recommend not using this on wallpaper or a nicely painted wall just in case.
The symbodi is made of plastic, but it is not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. The blue ball on top rolls around freely. Since its mounted to the wall, you can adjust how much pressure you want to use on the device.
I know other products that you can use on the floor, but this would be perfect for travel or even an elderly person. Since it's so easy to mount and use an older person would be able to attach to the wall instead of trying to lay on something you use on the ground. Plus, if you use it at work, you will not have to be on the floor in your office since this attaches to the wall.
I would recommend this if you have back tension/muscle issues. Even just using it for a minute my back felt better and more relaxed.

This is another item that I use everyday because it is effective. If you like tennis ball therapy you will like this. It seems like a heavy duty, well made product. Just like a golf, tennis or Lacrosse ball, this is targeted for those smaller, harder to reach areas. Not quite a firm as a golf ball, but more firm than a Lacrosse ball. If I had to assign a number in firmness, I would call it somewhere between an 8.5 - 9.5 on a scale of 10; FIRM. My biggest challenge is going to find a safe place that the suction cup will be happy with (mount to). Glass would be great, except for the part of crashing thru it as you put your weight on this. Depending on where (on your body) you are massaging, you will likely be moving your body in an up/down motion, so you get a little glute and quad workout as you're using this. They have included a nice, permanent snap on/snap off cover for the suction cup. That's important as you want that part to be as clean as possible. The enclosed guide instructs us to clean it with a soft damp cloth if it becomes dirty/dusty. The massage ball is the heaviest part of this device. This appears to be of quality materials and workmanship.
It removes from the base to enable you to actuate the suction cup. With it removed from the base, I used it holding it in my hands, sitting down, massaging my quads. Getting a massage takes some work on your part. You have to move your body up and down, or side to side (depending on how you have the massager mounted). But it worked well to target knots. You can lean on it to hold pressure in one spot then move up/down to roll over the knot. I like it the most when using it on my back and the back of my neck and shoulders. I initially used this on my upper back, and it gave me the chills, it works so well. Just mount it, and just do little mini squats to massage your back. You're in total control, you can go as easy, or aggressive as you want to. Want to work another part of your back, just lower the roller and you're good to go. It really is that easy!
It does seem priced a bit high for what it is, but is also comparable to other suction mounted massage devices. I'd recommend if you're looking to upgrade from something like a foam roller - and the price isn't too off-putting to you. If you can afford this roller, you need to get it. It's done wonders for me. Give it a try for yourself!

The Symbodi vertiball is a great addition to your recovery or shower routine. It does a good job of allowing you to apply a substantial amount of pressure to harder to reach areas without assistance. The vertiball has a sturdy two part construction and is easy to assemble though I feel it could be a tad better. The base of the unit is first attached to a wall using the lever action suction cup with the lever handle facing up and the ball attachment slides over the handle and clicks into place. This assembly process is where I feel an improvement could be made. If you are like me and want to work multiple parts of your back and body this means you will be mounting and unmounting several times each use. Sliding the ball attachment off to access the lever mechanism feels unneeded and I wish they had designed this to function without having to remove the ball. It would make repositioning so much quicker and easier, and I would probably use it more as a result. As it stands, it is still a good device that does what it's supposed to do and I use it at least a few times a week. For the price I think you get a good value.

Simple but interesting development muscles&knots

Symbodi Vertiball is an interesting development of a traditional method used to relieve muscular tension and knots. Using a round hard surface against the group of muscles and compressing both whiles moving the area around. Until now, I was using a tennis ball on the wall, pressing my back against it, and hoping that the ball stays there during the massage. Another alternative, when I was treating the lower back group of muscles, I was staying on the floor with the tennis ball between the back and the floor. It’s obvious that Symbody makes the process very easy while maintaining the effectiveness of the massage.
I call this development because I see an interesting group of advantages:
1.- Symbodi ball is built with a very powerful suction cup that attaches the device to the wall and stays there no matter how strong your body moves against the device.
2.- The device is made of quality plastic and remains strong while is still in an adequate size to be in your gym bag.
3.- It can be used without external assistance. Just the wall. In most other massage devices like massage guns, you need someone else to reach some of the muscles in your back.
4.- This is not an electronic solution, so no batteries or power are required here.
I think that the product is simple and efficient, serves perfectly its mission and is made of great quality, all good reasons to recommend it.

The perfect system to work out hard to reach knots

The Symbodi muscle care system is a simple, yet effective muscle relief tool. It provides you with the ability to target hard to reach areas of your back via it’s unique design. The system is extremely easy to use. There are only two main pieces that come together in order to use it. In order to use it, you must first find a wall that is clean with no heavy textures and cannot be wallpaper. I have a perfect wall with no obstructions near it. You remove the ball piece and place the suction on the wall and lock it in. Then you slide the ball piece onto the locked base and you are ready to go. I had to adjust it a few times in order to get the height just right in order to get the spot on my back comfortably. Then you can apply as much pressure as you like by how hard you press yourself into it. I had a know that was causing some discomfort when I turned my head a certain way, and it was typically caused by a knot in between my shoulder blades. If it gets bad enough I can have my wife try to work it out, but to do it myself would be ideal. This system will allow me to do it. I worked that area out with the ball and it worked perfectly. The only issue I had was I tried to use it on the back of my neck, it pulled some of my hair. This would be the case of any rolling ball system however. Overall, I would highly recommend this muscle care system.

I got to say that this is pretty neat. I was a little apprehensive about a device that attaches to a wall but the manufacturer nailed it. The monster amount of suction this has definitely secures it to you dry wall or sheet rock. The instructions say just make sure that you have at least two coats of paint. I can say that the suction lasts well past your massage session and if you need more time just reset the suction cup. Being able to reposition this “wall ball” as my fiancé and I affectionately call it, is the key to its utility. Massaging your shoulders, neck, or lower back, all can be done by simply removing and re-positioning the Vertiball. I would not recommend shower use as the mount does utilize metal parts and they will obviously rust quickly. This is a very sturdy build a takes falls very well as the suction does eventually fail if its attached to slightly porous material. It has hit hard wood and has not been damaged in the slightest. I highly recommend this for anyone with targeted back pain.

The Symbodi Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care System is an great device for reaching aches and pains you can't reach on your own.
The device mounts securely on the wall - first the suction to the wall and then then ball mechanism sort of clicks in to place. It feels very, very secure and I do not think it will fall off the wall. I mounted it just at my shoulders' height in my bathroom.
The massaging ball is pretty much an ideal size - not too big nor too small to get knots and achy muscles well-massaged and worked through. I use the Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care system primarily for the area between by shoulder blades and my back (where the "mouse knot" from using. computer generally forms). It's gentle yet effective.
The great part about this devices is its portability. You can snap it off the wall and bring it with you. I wouldn't go as far as to say it would be useful on a long car ride (don't mount it in a car), but it surely helps after a long commute or a long day in front of a computer. I am. a big fan of this device and would highly recommend it.

As a person who always has some muscle sore from apparently doing nothing this gizmo came in handy for everyone in the house. I've had a nagging soreness in my shoulder for a while now and this seemed to help it a bit. It worked out the kink I had in my shoulder.
I used this on my hamstrings and lower back and found out I like to have my muscles massaged every now and then. Who knew?
The design of this is pretty good. It allowed my father who is 79 to be able to hit some spots that he normally wouldn't be able to because of the ability to mount this to a wall or any flat surface. The handheld units were not as effective for him as this was.
The Symbodi Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care System is a good by for some basic muscle relief. I have never used anything else so I don't have anything to compare this unit to.
Everyone in the house who has used has given it a thumbs up. I would recommend picking this up if you any kind of mobility issue that would cause you to have a issue using the hand held muscle relaxing tools available.

This is a super simple concept and is executed so very well. I'm surprised that someone hadn't come up with it earlier. Reading the inventor's story inside the packaging, though, it makes perfect sense for him to have come up with this. It essentially consists of 2 parts and no electronics at all - an actual pleasant surprise! Doesn't require batteries, charging, cords or the like.
Basically, you pick how high up a wall you want to mount it based on what area of your body you want to work on. Then, you just stick it on the wall with the suction cup base. If you've ever used a suction cup-type car phone mount, you will know how to use this within a matter of seconds. Then, it's just a matter of pushing your body part up against the ball and moving around against the ball. You can apply as much or as little pressure as you want, appropriate to the kind of recovery you need. That's essentially it. I've tried several different wall types in our house and the until has stuck on all of them without any problems.

Somebody figured out how to get a massage ball in just the right spot for those super difficult knots. I use all sorts of things to try to work out muscle spasms, like the cane, a massage gun, a roller or ball on the floor, and it's just really hard to get the right spot. With this firmly attached to the wall, there's one less variable. The ball stays put and you move yourself to press the ball against your muscle where you need it.
The ball and mount are very well-made. The ball part pops out of the wall mount part so you can stick it on the wall and the ball part snaps firmly into place. It is a bit stiff and hard to attach/detach at first, but it loosens up a bit over time and you get used to it.
It sticks surprisingly well to interior drywall, and it hasn't damaged the wall surface yet. It's not magical, and it will let go of the wall after 10 minutes or so. It's not a permanent decoration! It stays put while I'm actively using it. I've learned to take it down when I'm done otherwise it falls to the floor with a loud thud.
The ball doesn't roll around easily just yet, but that's not a problem and I'm sure it will work itself looser over time.
If this looks like the type of thing that you'd use to work out your muscle knots, get it. it's good.

I’m somebody who works out a few times a week and often has sore muscles and some lower back pain along with other random aches from time to time. I saw this Vertiball and really wanted to give it a try.
The packaging is simple and includes a brief user guide to get you started. Additional information including an instructional video can be found online using the QR code shown in the user guide.
I was immediately impressed with the simplicity of the design and how well it holds to the wall. I really didn’t expect it to hold on as tightly as it does, but it doesn’t budge at all. And, best of all, it doesn’t damage the wall or leave any marks.
Using the Vertiball is a unique experience, and something that takes some getting used to, IMO. I don’t know why they didn’t include a softer ball, but I feel like that would work better. I’ve tried this on both clothed and bare skin and the roller ball is hard and honestly, I feel like it hurts more than it helps. Trying to find a good position is awkward, but luckily the unit is quickly dismounted and remounted to a new spot so that you can try again. But even then, it just doesn’t feel that great, at least not for me. My husband tried it also, and he doesn't seem very impressed.
The portability is great, but I’ll never take this to the gym. Using this in public is a dance I don’t want to do.. lol We might pack it in our luggage when traveling, but probably not.
This might be okay for somebody who cannot reach their sore muscles to massage and rub them themselves and has nobody to help, but honestly, I don’t see myself using this much at all and I can’t recommend it to anyone.

OK so roller balls are great for releasing tired muscles and working on sore spots. The ball portion of this works great but the mount doesn't. I tried several flat surfaces and none of them worked with this mount for long. I made sure the surfaces were clean and free of dust or anything that would prevent a good seal. Nothing made a difference in being able to use this mounted. It still kind of works as a roller ball but is clunky to hold. I've found the most use using this propped up on the couch for sore feet. We use our cheap regular roller ball for working out sore muscles on the rest of our bodies instead as this just doesn't work how I expected it to which is kind of a bummer. I was hoping this would work well so I didn't always need my spouse to help out with the hard to reach spots. This is also more fragile than a regular roller ball because of the base or mount and eventually it did crack from falling while trying to use the mount. The ball still works thankfully so it's the designated foot roller now!
