I use this when visiting relatives who don't have internet access and in hotels that charge for internte access. I was glad to see these at Best Buy since the TMobile store doesn't carry them. I know you can buy time through customer service without a card, but twice it was messed up by customer service. Have the card in my possession eliminates that problem.

    Very Good Value

We recently had a severe local provider outage and the time was over the weekend and I could not be off the net. I rushed to Best Buy and decided to purchase the T-Mobile Mobile Hotspot. (another very good value) and the $35, 3.5 gig data refill card. I had know idea of what might usage might be, over the weekend I setup 3 computers to wireless use this hotspot the 3.5 gig plan. Very happy with speed and features. My internet provider restored regular service about 3 days later and I went back to that, but I continued to use hotspot in the field. Very good speed and in some places 4 bars and very fast 4g. As I approached the 30 day mark I contacted T-Mobile and I was told I had only used 888meg (.888 gigs) I was amazed and happy. I will be getting a 30 day $25 1.5 gig card and try that, but for $35 for 3.5 gig that was a true value. No complains and the only tough thing was the awkward setup on the T-Mobile new account page.

    'Unlimited' is Misleading

In today's day and age, the amount of '4G' data allotted just doesn't cut it - I run out within a week and then am subject to speeds of 2G, which just doesn't do it.
