I have had a RAZR for a year now, and though it's not the nicest phone, I haven't been too disappointed.
The camera quality is not very good on this phone. The pictures come out foggy, and when you think you have a good picture, if you save it, the picture suddenly turns foggy or distorted.
Although it has a good MP3 player, I don't like how you can't make your own ringtones. The ones already on there are fine, but if you want something different every once in a while, it's not very handy.
I like that the phone has video, even though it's only 15 seconds.
It comes with three themes, and they are not just plainly colored or anything. They have somewhat of a texture, which I guess is better then nothing.
The durability is great! I'm always hyper and crazy with my phone, which means throwing it up in the air and not catching it..haha. It has always stayed in one piece and never fallen apart if I drop it. I have gotten it completely wet with coke and just took the battery out and let it dry for a few hours and it worked perfectly! My best friend had one and she threw it in a tree while on video just for a joke, and hers was perfectly fine. She also threw it on concrete, and it never busted. I'm sure you wouldn't do such stupid things with a phone, but it's just an example.
I'm kind of in between recommending yes and recommending no..I wouldn't pick either if there was a choice..but it's not that bad a phone, so I'll just say yes.

The razr was THE must have phone a few years ago, and despite it falling fell behind on the ladder of technology, it is still immensely popular today.
The T-Mobile version is idential to the original V3 models carried by Cingular (now AT&T) Wireless that caused all the commotion. Housed in a bold pink color, the razr features bluetooth technology, AIM and Yahoo Instant Messengers, a large vivid color screen and a vga camera. The firmware is updated from its original version for better stability. Battery life is on the moderate to low side, which is to be expected from a phone this slim.
Overall, still a good phone, and a great addition to the T-Mobile prepaid lineup.

I've had the RAZR for a year now and my thought is: This is an overall good phone. The features are good, the call quality is fine.
But the camera is a little bit iffy. The more you zoom in, the more blurry the picture gets.
Also, the way you view your pictures is terribly inconvenient. You have to scroll down through your pictures one by one.
The video also isn't the best.
But I guess overall, if you're looking for a basic phone and you aren't a big texter, then this is good for you.

i have had this phone a while now. overall, i really like it. its a sleek design and has all the bells and whistles one would need. the only thing i can complain about, is that the battery or the power just randomly goes off - especially if i havent used it for a while. not sure what kind of glitch that is, but its probably only specific to my phone..... i recommend this.

I bought this phone for my wife and i must say she is very happy with it so far and the only con she found is that the battery life is not that good but other than that a very good phone that has aged well from its popular days
Overall this phone gets a 8.4 in my book

I just brought this phone to send my boyfriend Yahoo instant messages in Iraq. Its just a basic phone and not really a "smart phone". The buttons are not rubber so they will probally wear easily for texters. I like it. The V3 dosent have alot of memory storage.

This phone is great. The price was reasonable and the set up was super easy. I also love the color of the phone. I go through T-mobile flexpay and wanted a phone that was much better than your typical cheap no contract phone. The only downside I've found with the phone is that there is no preloaded games with the phone. It comes with two demos but that's all they are is demos, but fortunately, games do not cost that much to download. I would recommend this phone to anyone that's looking for a non contract phone or a contract phone works for both. I just had to purchase a sim card and replace the pay as you go card, but the sim card only cost an additional $20, Not bad!

This is a good phone if you work in an office. The ring is not loud enough for outdoor events, but the slim design makes it easy to carry around. I would buy this phone if I worked in an office, not outside.

This is my second Motorola Razr phone! My first one was a bubble gum pink that I bought in 2006 when I was on ATT. I paid almost $400 for this phone back in 2006. When I went with TMobile, I bought the hot pink Razr phone at Best Buy for just $100 and for the money, it is packed with features! My favorite features is the this is made of metal and inside the keys are flush with the case and so there are no keys to fall off. This is a classy phone. Also this is a well made phone that lasts and lasts!!! Hard to find any phone that will hold up as long as this phone.

this is a great phone, but if you are a texter I don't recomend this phone because it eats up your money very quickly. But if you like ot talk on the phone this is a great phone. the internet access on this phone is sluggish, you can't go on practically any websights besides the T-Mobile website, and if you like taking pictures, and videos this phone has very little memory. Overall I think this is a great phone for your first phone, because it has all of the esentials that a great phone should have.

I was thrilled to see this razr phone at a reasonable price. I'm happy with the pay as you go plan as I don't need alot of minutes. Most of the phones that you get with this plan are sub standard. I paid $100 for 1,000 minutes and they don't expire for a year. Great deal!
