This phone is great if you're looking just for a phone to txt.chat, and web browse. I really don't use my 450 minutes a month so I decided $1 a day prepaid is a better deal for me. If I need the minutes I can either buy the refill cards or use my credit card to fill it online or a phone. I wish you could download free ringtones to it but thats about the biggest drawback tho, the layout of all the buttons is much more convenient than most phones such as the rumors weird buttons to txt. You can also go online to chat on AIM, Windows Messenger, Yahoo, for free so its pretty cool if you're a big chatter like I am. Also you can have I believe up to 5 different emails set up so if you need that feature its also great for getting up to the minute notification of Bills or your people trying to add you on Myspace XD Final words, if your a big txter,chatter,browser you'll like the phone. If you need a phone to talk on...I'd definitly look elsewhere. Oh also...beware people with big hands and fingers XD This thing is tiny...AND PURPLE!!! <3

well i just got this phone with the prepaid $1 a day unlimiited text, email plan ive always liked the style and look of the sidkick but the slide took the cake for me. its very sleek and compact it does not seem that durable the phone feels like it will just break in my hand. it is tiny device( i have big hands) i have dropped it a couple times and its seems fine. the signal is decent calls are clear with and without speaker phone and the ability to to manage up to 4 different email accounts( including the one you get from t mobile) is superb the aim/yahoo/msn messegner works flawlessly. the camera,( thats right only a standard still camera no video) is not that great.the picture always seems a bit dark no matter what light setting your in even with the ablity to adjust to exposure. the overall quality of the picure is good. besides that the phone is get high marks from me if your looking for a very sleek small yet full of features and have access to you e mail aim then i think the sidekick slide is what you need.

BEFORE you use phone call service provider to properly set it up esp if you want your 5 faves to show up. I tried the shortcut but it will keep prompting you to set it up correctly if not done so. Short process and you are ready to go! I love this phone!! Texting is WAY easier with the qwerty keypad! this phone is great if you are "textually active" LOL. I seldom use my phone for actual calls, and the qwerty keypad delivers a swift texting time that you cant get with alpha or auto text with other phones. Plus it comes with a headset and case!! The screen is also nice and big and i love that! great sound for the music player. Usb enabled to get music from pc w/o having to take out memory card!! Music player works while you text and navigate your phone. Be sure to get an SD card as pic space on phone is limited. No folder to save important texts and pushing numbers while you are on a call can be annoying w/o headset or bluetooth unless you have it on speaker. 5 faves compatibility not as easy navigated as with other phones. Love the phone! Extremely happy with my purchase!

The phone is not really worth 219.99 but its a great phone and I would have to say form switching form a sidekick 08 to a slide I like the slide much better the screen is just a little smaller than the 08 but the quality of the phone is a major difference (im talking about durability and the phone part) You can hear on the loud speaker great! The Sidekick 08 you had to use a headset with and not with this one. Also the Battery is the best! I know the color is blue but its a bright blue almost purple but the actual color that tmobile stated is a Midnight Blue. If you know of a coupon let me know so I can get a price match for less! But if you can get your hands on this device for under 200.00 your doing good I wish it had a video recorder that it doesn't but the camera is not to bad. It is a Very Good Value Overall!

I've had 13 different cellphones in about a year so far and this one is the best so far, You get unlimited texting and internet for a dollar a day so it equals to 30 Dollars a month and Minutes are 15 cents per min to any company. You get my faves and it feels good in your hand. It does cost alot of cash but this phone is worth it. I got rid of my ipod and use this as an mp3 player too. This fone is worth its price and more. The battery could be better but, you can charge it at night so no propblems yet. I've never had a qwerty i liked an this ones it weirdish because the buttons are circles instead of squares but its a good phone with a good camera, (it cannot video record),

The Sidekick slide is a Great Phone! It has Many Features and is Worth the Price of 200 dollars,Many People say that the battery life is horrible all you have to do is chatge it all night. this phone is prepaid and you get my 5 faves (unlimted calling to any number) and its a dollar a day for unlimeted text, messaging,and we browsing. the phone pays for its self. The only down puts are no flash, no video and sort battery life but long enough to last a whole day. I would Recomend this Phone to Anyone its a really great phone, and i hope ive helped.

i just got this phone less than 8 hours ago,and i was so anxiouse to write this review for bestbuy...in my opinion this is the best prepaid phone out there right now..price is not to bad somewhat expensive at 219.99 but what you get is more then worth it...the only 2 things that are bad is the battery life but it could be worse and the camera is very bad other then that its the perfect prepaid phone and i would deffinetly recommend it!.

THIS PHONE IS VERY INTRIGUING. IT HAS THAT NICE KEYBOARD TEXTING STYLE THAT I ABSOLUTELY ADMIRE. IT HAS A LOAD OF EXCLUSIVE MEMORY. IT BETTER THAN CONTRACT PHONES. IT HAS SOME EXUBERANT-(extremely good;overflowing plentiful)FEATURES THAT I CAN FALL FOR. I MUST SAY I AM PROUD TO OWN THIS PHONE & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I love this phone. I had a a samsung slider and wanted a phone with a keyboard. I took my sim card out and switched it out. Didn't have to wait 48hrs for activation. Just hold down the menu and L key at the same time to avoid the 48 hour activation. The sound quality is great and texting is so much easier. I love this phone. expensive but worth it.

The Phone is okay u can use as a prepaid phone or just insert your own t-mobile card and use it with a plan. But overall i would consider getting the sidekick with the screen that flips.

i dont have the phone but i have done some research. After reading some reviews i hear people talking about myfaves. Do you get unlimited myfaves minutes with the $1 a day plan?

I've owned this phone for a year now and I love it. I love the blinky light that blinks BLUE when you have missed a text, call or VM. I have 4gb memory card in mine and its my music player.. I absolutley love it and will NOT leave home w/ out it! I highly recommend this sleek, stylish, awesome phone

ok i bought this phone yesterday and by far this is the best phone i have had! the things it is capable of doing is amazing! evryday i learn something new it has on it! i love the stylish design and sleekness it has! the camera isnt so great but its a phone not a camera! i love this phone!!!!

Within the first 2 hours of having the phone, I've learned that it didn't have all the features I wanted in a phone. 1. Does NOT record! 2. Can't make personal ring tones for any calling or messaging. You have to use the ones that are already programmed to the phone or either buy it! 3. The way it's set up is very odd. If you have a T-mobile phone already and you want to switch to this phone just by switching out the SIM Card, here is a quick tip to keep you from going through the hassel that I had with Sidekick Technical Support. When you put in your SIM card from your other phone, it will ask you to set up something and it will say it will take up to 48hrs to do so. IGNORE IT! There is a key on the left top corner of the phone. You hold that key down while you press "L" on the keypad and you should be able to unlock the phone. I hope I helped.

the phone is great people if iyu battery is dying then turn down the brightness on the phone but if you like to text then GET THIS PHONE

I love my sidekick slide. yes its a lot different from the other sidekick models but it cool. I like that its smaller but would be better if it had a flash on the camera and had a longer battery life.

The sidekick slide is awesome.You'll love it.You really dont have to wait for the 48 hr activation.You just press the button with the lines and the l button t the same time and there you go!!!!!!!!
