I like this phone and it comes with a good price but the battery life is very short and I have to charge it almost every two hours. It also freezes sometimes.

I have to admit, I wasn't too thrilled of buying this phone, but I was on a budget and needed a phone when I switched to T-Mobile. For the price, this is a pretty good phone. Sometimes it lacks a bit, I clear my browsing history and restart it, problem solved. It's really easy to learn to use. Only thing is I wish I could delete apps that I don't use, would clear up some memory. The front camera is pretty bad(0.3MP), but I don't use it so I don't care. The back camera is decent(5MP). There has to be good lighting to take good pics though. Either way it has a good app to edit the pics (ex contrast, brightness, shadow, etc). I wish it had a flash. The battery is okay as long as you're not on the phone all the time, which I'm not. I mostly use the phone for text & calling. I only use the internet when there's wifi. It usually lasts me the entire day. Overall it's a pretty good phone for the price, also for first time users of a smartphone. Also, the phone seems like it may break easy. But I don't have to worry, I rarely drop my phone. Just get a strong/sturdy case like I did.

I bought this phone as an upgrade and it definitely has more to offer than my old phone. It would not read my old sim card so I had to call support to transfer my number and balance which took 2 minutes. The processor is not that powerful but if you use a micro sd card and keep apps installed externally it runs great. It only has 1.3 GBs of internal storage. It runs much faster when you obtain root access and remove carrier bloatware and other pre-installed programs that you dont need or use. The battery life could be better but the battery is removable so I can keep an extra one in my glovebox. Nobody makes a good screen protector for this particular model but I bought low gauge vinyl and applied it to the screen snapped in between a an external case, it works well and does not interfere with touch screen usage. Overall I am more than satisfied with this phone but it runs much better after rooting. Its great as long as you take advantage of all it can do without limitations.

Better than expected for price, but battery only lasts a day. I need to charge it every night and often have to shut it down after 5 pm. The reviews I read said the camera was only mediocre, but I think its a bit better than that. It can fire 2-3 shots a second when you press the volume key in camera mode. That was an unexpected plus. Its also nice to get a 4 inch screen for $60, although I'd still like a little more screen.

This phone is great. Does everything I need it to do. Couple of downsides is the Battery life if very short and have to recharge everyday. Also, the camera takes decent pictures, but doesn't seem to focus up close very well. Over all it is just a great buy. Recommend.

I think the price was well worth it ($30) but the phone's battery doesnt last very long. Its also kinda slow. But for the price and being my first smartphone I guess its really good. At first I was excited and loved what it did, but when I bought the Alcatel Fierce 2, I saw the difference. Now I love the Fierce 2 and the battery lasts forever. I reccomend this phone if its on sale.

This phone is a great starter phone for anyone who wants an affordable phone, but doesn't want to spend a whole lot of money. Sometimes, regardless of who the cellular carrier is, there is a buzzing noise that people can hear who are on the other end of the phone. It's very annoying. If you open up too many Internet windows, the Internet speed will go from 3g to 2g ---real quick. The picture quality is fair from the back camera. However, if you use the front camera, the picture quality is horrible. The battery sometimes, depending on how much you use it, has to be charged quite often. I suggest buying a car charger with this phone.

I bought this phone mostly to try out the T-Mobile prepaid service. It runs the simple apps I use, processor and memory are reasonable for the price. Storage can be added by microSD, although the battery has to be removed to insert/remove the card. Standby time is not great- I have to charge it constantly. This and the camera (fixed-focus, doesn't really work for things like scanning QR codes) are where this phone really lets me down. I also don't like that the charging port (microUSB, so that's nice) is on the side of the device. Makes it awkward to hold or place in a stand while charging. Since I have to have it plugged in all the time, this is a real pain.

I got this while it was discounted to $50 (no contract) and it was superior to every other offering even up to $100 more. The camera is not great but I personally have never bought even a smartphone for a camera. Aside from that it functions quite well and has a nice screen.

Great smart phone to start with for those who do not want a smart phone to be too complex. Although the capabilities are comparable to other smart phones. Camera is not the greatest just ok photos. Easy to navigate it lets you set 3 different start up home pages to customize whichever way you like.

This is a low price phone, so my expectation was not high at the time I bought it. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised. My phone plan is phone calls & text only (no data plan). Because this phone has wi-fi, I can use wi-fi to access internet occasionally. (I mostly use my laptop to access internet.) I bought this phone a month ago. No idea how long such a cheap phone will last. But so far, it works fine! My only complaint is the user manual. It must be written by writers who have never used this phone. The manual uses terms that are not even attempted to be defined in beginning (or anywhere else) of manual. Luckily, I work in technology field & figure out how it works. Phone has front & back cameras. The front camera is VGA, so not useful. The back camera is fine. (Just keep in mind that you can't compare this phone's photo quality with Apple/Samsung phones that can cost 10 times more!) So if I were to buy a cheap phone, I wouldnt mind to buy this phone again.

Good phone but a little hard to decipher functions. The call function is also a bit clumsy. Sometimes it dials another person if you try and hang the phone up. Easy downloads and it works well as a personal phone. Texting function is alright not the greatest but it has swipe, which makes texting much easier.

The phone has good sound quality, not heavy, and a large screen, I like the camera and video. It has many free down loads and can use it for texting and internet. The battery life is not what I expected, however it is a great value for the product. I also bought the service contract from Best Buy, and was very pleased with the service dept. as they helped me set up blue tooth.

I like this phone and picked it up to cover me during a phone repair. It does exactly what it needs for me. The coverage is not the greatest and probably is my biggest complaint with this phone. However for under $80 and unlimited talk text and some data for only $45 a month, I'm happy. Every now and then it will have little errors but for the most part just turning it off for a minute refreshes it to perfection. I have been very happy with this phone and have even thought about switching to a month to month no contract phone and plan. Just maybe with another carrier.

This is my first smart phone. Very affordable, love the camera, SD card that can be added for generous memory, love customer support from T-Mobile.Yes, I would recommend this phone for easy functioning cell phone, access to web via WiFi, has ample features to take care of needs for a smart phone. Would be nice if camera had a flash, but love all the features it does have. Surprised at great quality of pictures I have taken.
