I cannot believe how sharp, flexible, and useful this lens is. I own the 70-200, 15-30, and 85mm lenses by Tamron and this one was the only one I didn't have. It feels amazing to have a walk-around lens that is as fantastic as this. Getting up to 5 stops of light feels amazing with the new G2 vibration control they have, and it really makes hand-holding effortless for photography -- even in low light! I don't regret a single penny of this lens, as it's probably the sharpest lens in it's category across the board.

Best 24-70 f2.8 bang for the buck!

Best 24-70 f2.8 bang for the buck! This is only $1,300 and Nikon's is $2,700 with the Vibration Reduction. Sure Nikon's are better and maybe faster, but for what I do this is the very best for me. I do weddings and studio work with absolutely no problems. It has a solid build and the Vibration control works great.

Wether photography is just a hobby or your profession, you can’t go wrong with a 24-70. Tamron’s version goes toe to toe with Nikons version and is $1000 cheaper! Build quality is amazing, looks very professional and image quality is amazing as well! Definitely recommend it!

Excellent lens. Versatile lens with fast focus and great sharpness in a somewhat compact size. Lens is heavy but not an issue to me considering the overall lens performance. Tamron 6 year warranty is a plus.

This is an amazing lens. I shoot low light. The VC (Vibration Control) allows me to hand hold shots that I would have previously needed a tripod to shoot. Quick to focus and sharp. Great and versatile!!
