Douglas Sirk brings the western adventure Taza, Son of Cochise to the big 3-D Screen with Rock Hudson, Rex Reason, and Barbara Rush. With some small measure of historical accuracy, Taza works well to balance action and drama with some gorgeous 3-D photography. 3-D Film Archive with Kino Lorber Studio Classics delivers a beautifully restored image from a new 2K master with impressive three-dimensional depth, clean audio, and a great audio commentary to round out the bonus features. The film works in 2-D - but it's meant for those keeping their 3-D screens alive.
The 3-D Film Archive have stated that if this title and Wings of The Hawk sell well, five more 1950's 3-D titles will be restored and released on Blu-ray 3-D.

Another great 3D release from the great 1950s age of these gimmick flicks. But this film plays well on its own as rock hudson once again plays an American native ( his first being in Winchester 73) Taza who is son of legendary warrior cochise who must prove he is strong enough to lead his people into a better way of life by working with white men not warring against them like renagade brother (rhodes reason) starring also barbera rush, gregg plamer and morris akrum

Not a complex plot simple characters and one Douglas week film. Nice 3D photography during the early years of 3D filmmaking. Overall it’s a good film where the story sympathizes with the Native American people.

this was made near the end of the 50's 3d era. While the director wasn't thrilled at the idea of doing a 3d film, he did a great job. Let's face it, you can't beat spears being thrown at you.

Good drama picturesque background, plot of story quite a bit different then usual soldier versus Indians, but a little too predictable
