Great looking phone with very nice specs for price range. Very snappy phone faster than my Samsung galaxy A51. Fast charging with great cameras.

I had never heard of TCL when I saw this phone advertised. The battery in my old Motorola was malfunctioning, and I was looking for something to replace it with that wouldn't break the bank. This phone seemed to have some nice features for the price range, and when compared to other options from some of the bigger names. So far, I like it a lot. The LCD screen is great. I had the hardest time seeing the screen on my old phone in bright daylight, but this one is very easy to read, and also has a feature that automatically adjusts the screen's level of brightness when you are using the phone in varying levels of light. I did not realize, however, that this type of screen does not allow you to wave your hand over the locked screen to see the time and any notifications that you have. Apparently only AMOLED screens can do that. That is really the only thing that I miss from my old phone. I am adjusting to having to hold my finger on the fingerprint sensor to wake the screen to see those things, but it's not a big deal. It would be nice if they would allow you to program the Google Assistant button to show a clock instead. The battery life seems to be really good, and it connected to bluetooth without any problems. I haven't tried the headphone jack yet, but like having the option. I plan to add a micro SD card to increase memory and storage. Nice to have that option as well. The TV-quality screen is very nice. Also nice is that it comes with a charger and a case that is really lightweight and comfortable to hold. You have to purchase these separately for some phones, so that's a nice touch. TCL does have a 5G phone that is twice the price of this one, but I didn't think it had enough upgraded features to justify the higher price. Overall, I think this is a nice phone for the money, especially if you just want a decent smartphone and aren't a power user.

1st time buying a tlc phone and actually works great.it isn't an iphone or a samsung but it works great for what it is

I bought this phone based on the cameras quality and the brand name recognition. It takes amazing pictures. Average experience is pretty meh. But the GPS has made my life hell. I'm a contractor and I LIVE OFF GPS. ESPECIALLY IN THE INNER CITIES. This phone has thought I'm all over the place. Usually it's about a full block away from where I actually am. And it changes on what side and by how much all the time. And then out of nowhere it just decides to work flawlessly for like 20 minutes and then go back to being a crackhead. Has a great screen. About a 4 on speaker volume and quality at max or close to. Battery is pretty robust too. TL/Dr: okay phone, terrible gps, meh user experience. .

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. For the price it's a great phone. The only con so far is that the volume keys, which usually control the ringtone volume (unless you're watching media) seems to control the Media by default, so if I need to turn the ringtone up/down I have to press the volume key so the volume menu pops up, then I have to select manually between Media/Ringtone/Alarm/Notificatios, and slide the bar left or right to adjust the volume up/down, otherwise I only control the Media volume, which I found very unusual, and it takes a bit more time, but aside from that, the phone works great so far, it's fair to say the pros outweights the cons.

Got tired of purchasing phones worth 2 to 3 times as much them eventually breaking. If this lasts a year or two it's a perfect purchase for me. The camera is halfway decent and the screen looks amazing for the price. So far a few days in and no complaints.

Cant say much its not unlocked for boost. Had to return and pay restock.

Phone sucks. I’ve had it for about a month now and it has a kind of its own. Chnages through recent open apps whenever it pleases, screen turns off and on,NFC doesn’t always work.
