    I have never had issues with any TCL except this one. I purchased it because I was migrating from Roku Tv to Google TV but this was a disappointment from TCL. The TV was laggy all the time but we put up with it because it was in my daughter’s room and she had limited time to play it. This TV died on us after year and a half. It just turns on with black screen and that’s all. It’s really sad that this product on sale was over $300 and it lasted just for the life of its manufacturer’s warranty. Now it can’t be replaced or repaired by TCL

In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.     i thought this TV will be better but all the apps are you have to purchase and can't connect my iPhone to TV. other than that it has a beautiful picture

    Very pleased, this is a great value and user- friendly tv and remote. Set up, and the directions in the manual, were relatively simple; I chose to decline the option to have Alexa search for me, I just prefer to use the search by typing method. The employees at Best Buy were helpful, so glad I shopped there and was able to get this the same day.

    I bought this as open box for $160. Excellent quality for this price. 4K , smart TV and transforms 30FPS into 60FPS.

    TV went dark after 6 months

    DO NOT BUY THIS TV! Bought this TV December 5th 2022 and the screen just went black 6 months later. I tried everything google told me from hard resetting it to unplugging it from my wall for over 8 hours and nothing worked. The sound still works, and the LED light at the bottom is still responsive but the display is completely black. This should not be a problem after 6 months. Listen to the 1 stars reviews because it seems to be a big problem with this specific TV. I will be purchasing a new TV but im staying far away from TCL. SAVE YOUR MONEY

    It lasted one year and 3 months before it went black screen out of nowhere this morning. Warranty is only for 1 year too which is fishy. Will never buy this brand ever again. It's also very slow, sound quality is bad, and picture was worse.

    Works as for as the tv is concerned, i have a fire stick on my. As the programing of the apps on the tv itself seem to have a clitch, after using for a while.

    Good for budget bedroom tv with one of the best OS you can get in my opinion. The contrast is okay on the 50 inch but as I understand the other sizes do not do as well. Not the best, definitely not the worst

    Buyer beware - Broken After a Year and 8mo

    Today is August 23rd 2024. I purchased this TV in December, 2022. Less than two years later and the tv flickers, and shuts the display off and renders itself useless nearly immediately. I know it’s not an expensive TV, BUT I find it ridiculous that it’s only lasted this long. My GF and I are not heavy watchers either so that makes it even worse. It’s not like we watch it everyday, or even very often. This tv is barely used and it’s already rendered useless on my wall. I will NOT be buying anymore TCL products. They’re junk.

    Horrible tv! Screen went black after almost 1 year to the date of purchase. I reached out to TCL support and they would not honor the warranty to repair or replace. I wasted my money....

    TCL will not honor warranties

    TCL has written in several loopholes and will find anyway possible to not repair or replace a device, even if you purchased an extended warranty through them directly. AVOID THESE TVS AT ALL COSTS

    Purchase a warranty with this TV

    I bought this TV at the beginning of this year and one thing that I noticed it was slow to react to the remote control. It would also back you out of certain channels like Netflix and take you back to the home screen on its own. Then as of today lines started to show up on the bottom half of the screen and it some times blacks out and you can only hear the TV with a black screen. I wish I would have purchased a warranty now. Hope this review helps anyone when shopping for a new television.
