I’m a big fan of the MiniLED TVs TCL has released in the past few years. Other brands just simply can’t compete with the value of these panels and after getting one home and playing with it further, i can see that the gap is even wider than I thought… I had to play with the settings of the TV while watching a few youtube videos to get the tv looking just how i wanted, but that tike was well spent as I now get to experience amazing color and fidelity on everything I throw at it! The colors are awesome, the brightness is VERY BRIGHT, and the 144/120hz is great for the one or two games my PS5 can actually hit those refresh rates in lol. There are technological downsides to MiniLED panels, like backlight sones creating ‘bloom’ and the area around brighter elements on a darker background tend to have a dark shadow around them when using the local contrast options, but after some quality time with the TV, those trade offs are well worth it for the image quality this panel can produce at less than half the cost of a C4 or S90D. I’m very happy with this TV and I hope TCL continues the good work!

This was a huge upgrade from my last TV. Overall it’s a 4.5 at the moment. Sometimes, the TV is kind of slow loading up to the main screen. However, picture is great. I’m able to see the picture and subtitles from the side. Remote is easy to use. I looked up calibration settings on YouTube because the picture looks too reddish on the default settings. It was a good purchase for $500.

Our LED Toshiba went out and we replaced it with the TCL 55" Mini LED TV. I was not familiar with TCL product, but after owning one I highly recommend them. It was fairly easy to set up and has an outstanding picture. TCL is a great TV at an affordable price .

After reading and researching QDLED 4K TV,s I went with TCL 55" QM7. Pick this up at my local BB store yesterday evening. Stayed up till 3am messing with all the settings. Got it dialed in really nice. Here is one (bug) for the lack of a better word. Audio drop out when using eARC only. For my unit I went back into audio settings and changed out (Auto) to (pass through). No more audio dropouts at all. Was getting umm about 1-2 second audio dropping out only when using eARC to my AVR. So try changing in, Audio settings from (auto) to (pass through) worked for me. Other than that little issue my TCL 55" QM7 isn't having any other issues. I have, Sony 65" X90L which cost two time more than my TCL QM7. I won't go into using word salads. I'll state, I highly recommend this model! Best Buy's service was outstanding! Paid for my TCL 55" QM7 online, walked in walked out in about 1/2 hour, Best Buy Associate loaded the 4K TV in my truck. Best Buy made my purchase easy with outstanding service!

I had a 1440p monitor before this and boy was this a major upgrade. That's right! I'm using this TV as my new monitor and it's so amazing. Everything looks so much clearer and seeing true HDR was a sight to behold. This was easily one of my best purchases of the year.

For a $500 TV, I find it difficult to justify spending more unless you can and want to. I'm a video snob, so I have some complaints about the saturation and color values, but for the overall experience, you can't beat it. (And you can tweak it within reason if you are "that kind" of person, which I am). This review is not based on the smart TV implementation, though it seems just fine (I use my Xbox Series X as my "media center"). I've done some gaming both from the XBox and a gaming laptop and it's perfectly fine - if you are someone who needs better performance, you're likely going to be using a separate setup for your gaming anyway. Hopefully the screen holds up. My last TV was a 60" LG that I bought at this same price point because it was a 60" 4K television. That was five years ago and it started to fail about a year ago. For the price, I'm okay with $100/year for a pretty good TV and this one is WAY better than that LG was. So to be clear: I really only use this TV as a monitor. I have no idea how the smart TV experience is or how it sounds. I use an XBox or PC to play my media and I have a receiver and speakers.

This is a great TV. Out of the box, you don’t have to do anything else. Simply plug and play. Very good color saturation. I have Xbox one S and it is just flawless, from the refresh rate and the HDR color saturation. The build in speaker is average, but if you want a good sound, get a soundbar. Anyways, every tvs nowadays is very thin and the sound coming out, it’s just bad (as expected). I bought the brand H U7, fast, but the color saturations was horrible. I returned it the next day. Anyways, I recommend this tv if you are on a budget but want a very nice tv without the headache. I was skeptical about TCL brand before, but TCL proves me wrong.

After months worth of looking for the perfect 55 inch TV under a $1000 I decided to go with TCL. If you're looking for a TV for console gaming you can't go wrong with this one. It has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. The picture looks amazing for the price, you just have to dial in a few settings to your liking. This does have a built in subwoofer and is honestly on the better side of things audio wise but it still won't beat out a decent sound system. The only cons to this TV is that it is a Google TV, and it takes a little getting used navigating the menus. There's also pixels that will either be too bright or dark when in game mode, but this is a prevalent issue on even higher end TVs. Considering the unit I have is only a single pixel it's something I can look past.

Our new TCL 55QM7 is a beautiful set. The vivid picture is bright, crisp, detailed and a joy to watch. We chose it over a similar Hisense cos of the longer life span. With my tech son-in-law's help we can go through Source to Xfinity (our cpoontinuing TV box) and get all its channels + our taped shows, so we have the best of both worlds. Glad about that since Google TV doesn't carry college football and only minimal pro football. Price was very reasonable, setup took a while with minimal instructions, Very happy after 2 weeks

This TV is amazing. Especially for the price. It has everything you need. 4 HDMI ports, 2 of which suppot 120hz and 1 of those supports up to 144hz. I have my PS5, XSX and a Panasonic 4K Blu-Ray playet (UB820) and the HDR10 and Dolby Vision are great. Just make sure you go into the settings while watching something to really see the difference and then you can adjust the settings to your liking. TCL has become my go-to company for TV's now.

This set does everything!! It integrates seamlessly with iOS and Android devices and home systems for easy control and automation, it’s fast in response, has a VERY good picture that keep up with fast motion, has great, powerful sound for movies, speech and sports! Mounting was a breeze with the Best Buy wall mount that was recommended. Thought it might be too big for the wall we put it in, but turned out perfectly balanced! Easy setup for WiFi and channel/app setup, too! Bonus is that you can pair your Bluetooth headphones to it and not disturb others in the off hours or if you’re hard of hearing! Did I mention it was inexpensive?! Full features, well designed, high performance, inexpensive -what more can you ask for?! Buy two!!
