I got this speaker on sale for about $60. and at that price it was a super bargain. The size, shape and handle make it very convenient and it puts out great sound. I love streaming Pandora when I'm detailing my car.

Well, I got this speaker when Best Buy did Black Friday in July for around $59.99 + tax. I've read some reviews about it; mostly positive, & at that price, it's time for me to finally take a plunge. Oh Boy, it works wonderfully, much better than I expected! What I really like :1.Reasonable Price. 2.Portable size, 360 degree sound 3. Adjustable bass/treble. What i can tell is for people who like bass-heavy songs like me, they won't be disappointed.4.Replaceable battery. For around $20, you can buy a new replaclement rechargeable battery from TDK website; a little bit peace of mind knowing that your new speaker is at least ' future proof' when the battery's dead & need to be replaced 5. You can recharge your phone from USB port of this speaker ! It's only 0.5 amp, so it'll be slow indeed, but you'll be glad you have this option 6.Water resist (spraying water) 7. Bluetooth/ AUX input option What I do not like : 1 Power cable/AC adapter too bulky, but hey nothing's perfect!

Pros Wow! Got this for only $49.99! Great sound. This baby can get loud without distortion. Excellent bass while still offering very good mids and highs. 360 degree sound. Love the separate bass and treble controls (first bluetooth speaker I've ever seen with this feature). Great looks. Seems solidly built. Decent battery life. Weather resistant. Easy carry handle. Rubber feet to keep from bouncing around on the table. Cons Not the most portable speaker. Easy to throw in your car to take to a picnic, but a little big to put into your luggage or backpack. While battery life is decent, I wish it offered 10 hours instead of 7, but I'm nitpicking here.

There isn't much I can add to the other very positive reviews here (4.8 out of 5 at this time). The sound quality of this speaker is on par with TDK's legendary original Sound Cube, which I've owned and thoroughly enjoyed for years now: crystal clear highs and mids, spacious soundstage, and deeply satisfying bass. But that speaker is for indoor use only, so when I needed a speaker to use outdoors for stargazing, of course I returned to TDK and found their amazing TREK series. Unlike the Sound Cube, which eats lots of big heavy D batteries when not on AC power, this TREK-360 has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts all evening and well into the night at medium volume. I use a laptop or a digital audio player (FiiO's wonderful X1) for the sound source, plugged into the TREK's 3.5mm AUX jack. I used the Bluetooth connection only once and found the sound quality was not as enjoyable as the cable connection (using a decent audio cable from KabelDirekt or Zeskit). With how much care TDK put into making this speaker so portable, I was surprised and disappointed that it did not come with a carrying case to protect it during transport. So I set out to find one, which was quite challenging given the TREK-360's unique size (6x6x7 inches and 4 pounds). But I finally found one that works quite well: the Zeikos ZE-260F Deluxe Soft Case. Its nicely padded main compartment holds the TREK laying on its side, face up. And it has lots of pockets for all the accessories.

Pros: + Price - Dollar for Dollar, reigning champ + Good bass for its size. + No distortion - Clear audio even when maxed out. + Awesome physical controls (on/off, volume with LED, BT/aux, BT pairing, treb/bass EQ, battery on/off). + Has aux-in plug (under rubber flap). + Battery pack is easily user-replaceable (side panel). + IPX7 waterproof rated (better than UE Boom, same as UE Megaboom). + Good handle placement and light enough to carry around (although physical size may make this less convenient than other more compact speakers). CONS: - Physical size is larger than most BT speakers (Not throwing this in your pocket or backpack) - Doesn't support AptX (if you have a device that supports this). - I would really like a remote control for this. - Biggest negative for me is the proprietary charger. Lose it and you will have to buy it directly from TDK and hope they are still making/selling it in the future. I wish they would have used a standard USB connection.

Great little speaker with great sound. Has good bass and connects to Bluetooth very easily.I like the portable size. The charge will last a couple hours. Well worth the money.

What a great piece of entertainment technology. We bought this for our housewarming garden party. The 360 degree speakers are excellent. I placed it in a planter in our 2400 sq ft back yard and it filled the entire space to a great level of volume. The bass is exceptional even though you can't even find a sub-woofer. The blue-tooth is simple. The battery charge is great and its compact size and wireless capabilities enables it to fit in anywhere inside or outside. I highly recommend this.

PROS: The overall build quality is good - thick plastic, knobs are solid. 4-way speakers in the corners and sub-woofer, which actually provides solid bass. It is capable of loud sound. Sound quality is OK, not great - but I was streaming through BluTooth. Lithium batteries are user replaceable. It is water resistant to droplets and splashes. CONS: It is just too large to be completely a portable speaker. I need something to carry with me or use outside on a patio/desk/etc. For its intended purpose it is a great speaker when on sale.

This is an awesome little speaker for the money! I've been using it in my backyard when we have a small get together and it's enough sound to hear over 50' away clearly. I even left it outside one night through a thunderstorm, and had no issues after I realized. Sadly, my dog did more damage by chewing up the power cord the other day. I guess that means I'll be able to enjoy yet another 6-7 hours or so before I'm forced to purchase a replacement cord.

This little cube packs a PUNCH!!!! I was amazed at the 360 degree sound coming from this speaker! Add to the fact that it's weather proof and you have one great speaker! I purchased this solely for jamming out while I BBQ in the backyard. Integrated handle for mobility and very nice mid-range and deep bass! Great deal for $50. You will NOT find anything comparable for the price even at standard retail! BUY THIS SPEAKER!

I love this bluetooth speaker! It sounds great. It has a clear sound. I can adjust the bass and tremble. It has enough volume to hear in another room. I would order another for the price of $49.99. I would love to have one in each room! It is also nice looking, and has great portability.

This item has exceeded my expectations. The sound is great, BT pairing is automatic. It gets much louder than I expected and the battery life is good for what you're getting. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

This may not be the most portable Bluetooth speaker, but it has great sound and is loud enough for impromptu parties. The plus: control the bass and treble. Not many portables have this feature. Bluetooth works great with my G3 phone. No disconnection issues.

I was wary about buying this speaker at first because I had never heard of it, but after reading reviews, I decided to go for it. I was surprised at how well it performed and I was also happy to see a bluetooth speaker that you can adjust the bass and treble levels on. It also works great for parties, it is louder and has more bass than my soundbar does, and you can hear it over a lot of people talking we just use this now. Works great outside and the bluetooth range is pretty good also. About 30-45 feet without anything in the way of you and the speaker.

I got this speaker to use on my back porch, and I ended up carrying it around with me, to the garage, the shower, wherever I need some tunes. The sound is good for its size, it gets plenty loud, and operation/pairing is super easy. I really like this speaker on it's own, and the usb port on the back to charge my phone makes it even better! I can't comment on battery life, I have mostly used it on A/C power. I have several portable bluetooth speakers, some cheaper, and some pricier, but this one is my favorite, a steal at $50.

I researched many Bluetooth speakers before deciding on this one and came down to the TDK and the Bose. I have two Bose systems for the living room and bedroom but are getting dated and wanted a rich sounding Bluetooth speaker that is portable. This is it. This TDK can get as loud as needed and offers strong bass for it's size. Kids like taking it on trips or just playing in their bedrooms. Once I saw this on sale, I bought two because we use them so often. No regrets. Just need more music to play!

This speaker has great bass and quality sound. Volume gets very loud. Easy to connect and use.

I must say, I didn't expect that from this little box. Great sound, deep base. It looks good. I haven't checked the waterproof part yet. Bluetooth is great! Unlike other devices, this one isn't "confuse", it connects automatically with the last used device. No flaws. Battery life great, charging time a bit long, it's a large battery pack. Again, smooth clean sound with a great base!

The TDK360 has it all.Great sound stage from bass to treble.I really like the fact that it has Bass And Treble controls built in.The bass is the best I've heard on a speaker of this size,The down firing subwoofer really pumps out very good natural sounding bass.The mids and treble are blended very well due to its 4 tuned full range speakers.And the way speakers are arranged it doesn't matter which side of speaker your at.Very stylish in appearance as well.The only thing I don't understand is why TDK chose to go with 2.1 bluetooth,It's definetly not a deal breaker but would like to have had at least 3.0 bluetooth.Would have rated a 5 and wished there was a 4.5 option.I also like the fact that Rechargeable battery is replaceable,Without this feature any rechargeable electronic device has an automatic expiration date.Because no matter how good the device may be the battery is going to fail at some point.I highly recommend this Speaker.

Bought this as a upgrade to my fiances TDK Life on record that is now in the garage, once again am pleased with the great sound, battery life and overall ease of use
