My twin daughters received one each for Christmas. They both are more than happy with them. I will say that one was defective and would not charge. We returned it with no hassle. We have the protection plan but it was within the exchange dates. My daughters love these. They are able to do everything their older brother and cousins do and I can let them without being scared they will get on something they aren't suppose to be on. I love the fact that it came pre-loaded with a lot of games! My son asked if we could trade his iPod in for one :). The games are very educational!

my little brother michael got this for his bday 2 months ago and he loves it. loads of apps and games and learning stuff too. its even got angry birds. with in a few weeks he had apps even i hadnt thought of downloading. parental controls keep him and his wifi downloads under control but for the most part its like a cheap ipad with more personality. i highly recommend this for any one not only as kids but also as a cheap alternative to ipads. im totaly jealous of lil mikey.

The fact that it is android based was a selling point but it isn't easy to use at all. Google play won't recognize the device so I can't get the regular games he plays on my phone. I can't seem to get the different markets (2) that it is supposed to come with to upload and work. Thankfully he plays the handful of games that the device came with, but I don't know how long that will last. The games can get very advance (boxing math) and he gets frustrated. Luckily the device is very durable. He has had several tantrums and the device has held up.

we bought this for our son so he wouldnt keep asking for our higher priced work tablets. we were very surprised on how many good apps were on it, both games and educational. our son was even able to put his gmail account on it so he could email his grandma! highly recommend!

After charging up the Kurio (Christmas gift from grandma), my son was thrilled to be able to play Angry Birds. He would always use my husband's cell phone so this was a perk to have it already loaded onto the Kurio tablet. He's happy with it as is so we haven't tried to download anything or access the Internet yet so hopefully if/when we need to... it'll work just fine. The set-up was really easy with the instructions and the screen is sooooo clear - perfect gift for my 6 year old tech kid.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. At first all was well. His games ran fine and there were no issues at all (he wasn't using the browser on it much). About 2 weeks ago it started shutting off for no reason, with over 70% battery power still remaining. It will only turn back on if I plug it into wall outlet. It looks like I'm not the only one with this problem, also, according to a online search.
Kurio wants me to send it in, at my cost, to repair. Think I'll just return it and get something more reliable.

My 4 year old received the Kurio for Christmas because her older sister was getting an Ipod Touch. She loves it and so do we. She was easily navigating through the pre-installed apps within minutes. She loved the camera and video. Downloading apps from the Kurio store and "other stores" was fine but actually getting them to show in the menu seems like more work than it should be but that would be my only criticism. I need to get a case to carry it in and saw one on Amazon. Have not had any problems in the past month and it has been played with almost every day.

It was a gift for my almost 3 year old nephew and he loves it, it has a safety rubber cover so great for little kids even if they drop it.

I was really excited about the tablet, I purchased three for my grandkids. On Christmas they opeded them and I was Grandma the Great. The one by one each tablet developed problems. Could not take them back to exchange because they were not in stock. Have to wait a week. Kids are upset. Two days after Christmas. Pay the money for a better tablet.
