Don't over-think it. It's loud noises and bright colors and action. It's excellent junk-food for your brain. The turtles have their signature personalities updated for modern audiences. If you hate change, buy a DVD of the original series. If you embrace change and don't take your anthropomorphic talking animals that practice martial arts too seriously, this movie is for you. I grew up in the 80's and loved it.

Fun movie for fans of the classic ones. Yes its "modernized" but flows well & is really well done. Fun movie if you can get it for a low price & nice to have Blu Ray/DVD/Digital copies all in one.

Everything I loved about the original turtles when I was a kid made so much better (with very slight changes to the story). I know film makers are able to do so much more now vs. back in the day but this movie makes you think they had no business even trying to attempt making a turtle movie back in the day. Not to mention the steel book adult me is lovin' the steel book the kid in me is lovin' the masks inside.

I went into this expecting my childhood memories to be tarnished. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes there were major changes to the original story, but it was actually refreshing and fun. Plenty of funny moments and a ton of that over the top action that we love. It's definitely worth watching. The original movie will always be my favorite but I could definitely watch this enough to make it worth buying.

The turtles are back and I love it! I grew up watching the turtles, playing with the toys, wearing the clothes and costumes so Im probably a little biased here. The plot is pretty weak and there are plenty of things that could have been done better but it's a kids movie that is trying to be an adult movie after all. Its a typical Michael Bay summer blockbuster but it is enjoyable. It looks even better in 3D.

It was a great movie. They did a great job making it new and starting fresh. Did a great job with the story line and visual effects. It'll never be the original but hey pretty good otherwise. I'd give it a 4 and a 1/2 stars but it won't let me. Wasn't nothing mind blowing but very entertaining. I recommend for kids over 10, or follow the rating pg13. (Was waiting for Casey jones but not in this one..yet)

I was a little reluctant with this 2014 version of TNMT, but my daughter convinced me to purchase this movie on Blu-ray. I was very impress with the action sequences and the CG effects. The story line differs from the original and it was a pleasant change since it kept true to the core. I will recommend this movie to anyone with children and all adults who enjoyed the original movies and cartoon series.

As a fan of this long gestating franchise, I was very surprised by how much I liked this incarnation. The bigger jokes are for the older and more hardcore of fans, but it still delivers. And the digital transfer for this movie is way more brilliant than ever. Colors are vibrant, blacks are crushed. Dolby Atmos has given this movie a far superior sound mix. Recommended as a buy and occasional rental.

This movie got a lot of lukewarm reviews when it was released, but the camaraderie and interaction between the four turtles make it enjoyable, and worth watching. Fans of the series will probably be turned off, however, as some aspects of the characters were altered from the previous versions in fairly major ways, but it's a nice "popcorn" movie if you're looking for a new take on the TMNT story.

I've heard many different things about the newer tmnt movies. Personally I love them, they give you the basics have a decent amount of city ruining, and beat the bad guys. The graphics are amazing, and the details of the turtles definitely are down to a 100%. To whoever is going to complain needs to lighten up, things change and it doesn't make them all bad.

I like the 3-D movies so get more of these, adventure, action, and science fiction. The prices are more but I like the effects of looking at the scenery and rocks flying out at you. I am retired and spend a lot of time watching TV so get more cheaper movies and I will buy them. I am home all day alone with the fantastic views of the 3 D effects.

Michale Bay directs this new incarnation of the beloved turtles and introduces it to a brand new generation of fans.

If you are a fan of TMNT and this movie, this steelbook is great! The turtles are featured on the front. Digital code included! I'm not the biggest fan of Megan Fox, but I still found this movie to be very enjoyable.

If you have ever seen any episode of the 90's animated series, then this movie (plot, characters, structure) will feel very familiar. It's no more or less than that. The Turtles themselves have never looked better. But being the first big, glossy, mega budget production, it feels a bit safe, almost like an intro piece; which future sequels will hopefully expand upon.

Good movie - I went into this knowing nothing about this movie, hoping it would continue from where the 3rd live-action movie left off...sadly it did not. Regardless, it was a solid but very different movie from the originals. Its good, the CGI is great - but just know this is different. - (personally i prefer the original 3 live-action movies from when I was a kid)

I have been a fan of the Ninja Turtles since I was a kid back in the 80s. This latest incarnation was well done in terms of special effects, but it was hard to take these characters seriously. The tone was too comical for me. Still an entertaining movie, but definitely targeted towards younger kids. Get this for your kids and nephews. They will enjoy it.

I am already a believer in the Sonos system. I have setup my home theater with Sonos and have added several Play 1s to my home. This one went into kitchen. It literally takes longer to get the speaker out of the box than it does to add it to your system. You will be listening to music or TV in no time. No need to look elsewhere. No delays or wireless lags. Spot on.

This movie was slightly above average. Megan Fox did a decent job as April O'Neil. I would rate this film a 7.5 out of 10, although it was not as good as the original movie from 1990.

As a huge fan of the ninja turtles, I was beyond excited to see this film. It is not a remake of the original; but instead, a reboot of the franchise. Being a Michael Bay film, you can expect tons of action, cheesy comedy, and plenty of special effects. Go into it with an open mind, and a willingness to be entertained, and you definitely won't be disappointed.

This brought is back but it's a michael bay production but it is ok.
