Other movie for our movie collection for our once a week movie night we love this

Purchased this for my developmentally disabled roommate, so I'm quite happy that the menu system is easy enough for him to navigate to: Play All, to watch all episodes per disc. The case is a bit cramped, but the plastic seems strong enough to last a while, I only worry that because so many of the discs are stacked on each other that they will scratch too much over time. However, it is nice to have them all in one spot, instead of having a collection of DVD boxes taking up too much space.

My dad is always a hard one to shop for. He never wants anything nor gives us ideas. He is a simple man, wanting only a loving household and obedient children. So when he picked up this complete series of a classic, when good moral values still existed in every day life, i knew it was the perfect gift for Father's Day!! We got excited for a minute when we though all the episodes were remastered in color, but are not. The series is packaged in two (2) DVD cases: Seasons 1-5 (black & white) and Seasons 6-8 (color). Slowly making our way through, and dad loves it! :)

All 8 seasons are included in this set which seem to be complete episodes during the 8 seasons. The mastering quality is excellent, but the only way one can see closed captions is by viewing it through an analog/component output to the TV.

I like to run tv show marathons and this is a fun way to do one. I love the family-oriented Mayberry residents and family structures. Sheriff Taylor's solutions are always wise and work well.

I requested for the item to be shipped in 2 day shipping which I did not receive. Contacted a Customer service representative and they were able to assist me with no hassle.

Bought them as a gift for our daughter and her family. They are enjoying what good family tv used to be!

I grew up on the reruns and I loved that I was finally able to make this purchase as I have always been a huge fan of this show

A classic show from the golden age of tv. These shows had everything: plot, comedy,drama,heart. Shows nowadays are junk!!!

I already had the separate dvd sets. Sold them and purchased this complete series set, which cuts the shelf space in half.

They don't make programs like this today. Should be standard viewing in most homes especially families
