Binding of Isaac at first seems like a simple game, but the randomly generated dungeons and items can offer endless possibilities on each playthrough. This is a game that someone can easily pour hours into if they tough it out through the difficulty curve of the first few hours of learning the game.

This is my first time playing Binding of Isaac, but I've heard plenty about it. I was hooked immediately. It's not exactly easy to pick up, and it's way beyond difficult to master, but once you come to grip with the controls and the physics, it's an excellent twin stick shooter with truly infinite replayability. Just typing about it is making me want to put in a few runs! The game runs perfectly well on the Switch, except in some rare circumstances. Also, as of this writing, the item "Toxic Shock" creates a framerate-crippling visual effect in every room. Expect this to be fixed soon, or simply avoid the item. There's like nearly 700 other items to choose from. Do know that it's very heavy on both religious blasphemy and toilet humor, but it's very tongue-in-cheek. If you think either of these things may turn you off or offend you, check out some videos of the game first to be sure.

While the game is surprisingly simple in controls and design, it contains endless hours of replay opportunity. Every dungeon is random, every power up is random, the game has multiple unlockable characters, and hosts of challenges and achievements to complete.

The gross and dark humor and fun rogue like action of The Binding of Isaac is a great fit for the new Switch. The game is a great fit for mobile, playing in small short bursts or for long periods. Retro style visuals are appealing. Definitely recommended if you've not played it on other platforms

This is now my goto game to play when Zelda Breathe of the Wild gets frustrating. The Binding of Issac is a good change of pace, has more content than you find in the standalone version on other platforms. Great addition to my Nintendo Switch catalog of games.

Probably the best example of the rogue-lite genre to exist. IF you like infinitely repayable games, then this is one of the best. Think NES Zelda dungeons mixed with the difficulty and randomization of roguelike games. Incredible.

This title is simply amazing. I played dozens of hours on my PC before jumping in here and figuring now I can do the same in my living room. If you like the randomly generated dungeons and power up style of Rogue games then this will be a perfect fit.

Even though this could be a mini game, it works so well that you forget about that. Each run is new and the controls are simple enough that anyone can play. A 2D maze shooter that is sure to keep you busy for longer than your average game.

I was a little concerned when my kids asked me to buy this game for them. The graphics are old school as well as the gameplay. However, this has supplanted many other titles in our home as the game of choice and really takes advantage of the portability of the switch.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is the final version of the game. Although made for PC, it runs very well on the Nintendo Switch. If you enjoyed the game on another platform, or are looking for a dark, challenging roguelike, this game is for you.

I never played The binding of Isaac before, but have always been interested. This version on the Switch is beautiful in all regards. I also love the retro style pamphlet that comes with the game. This game is very disturbing though. But I love it.

This game is dark and creepy. The art style is very grim. It has zelda like dungeons that are randomly generated, which means every time you replay the game, it will feel new. It is a very unique and amazing experience.

Without giving too much away, the game definitely starts off in a very disturbing way, and only goes even further from there. The game play is fantastic, but i fear the setting may be too off-putting for many. NOT recommended for the young kids.

I didn't know if I would like this dungeon crawling twin stick shooter, but since there wasn't a lot of options on switch I tried it. It's quite fun and varied with cool hand drawn looking sprites. I can't wait to try the local multiplayer.

This game is unique because every time you start a new game there is a new map. The game is humorous for both adults and children. I have got through the final boss once and my 5 year old has gotten through the final boss three times.

I own this game on multiple systems at this point and love it on each. I had to buy this for the switch for the limited edition goodies bundled with the 1st run of copies. If you've never played Binding of Isaac before you owe it to yourself to pick this rogue like gem up.
