Customers highly value the engaging gameplay and portability of "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+", frequently praising its replayability and extensive content. However, some players find the game's difficulty challenging and the controls require adjustment. While the unique art style and dark story are points of discussion, many appreciate the overall fun and engaging experience.

I started playing The Binding of Isaac expecting shallow gameplay, but the conplexities and variables added quite a bit of depth. Each level is randomly generated, offers different items, bosses, enemies, and odds of winning each playthrough. It's not always easy, but once you find your groove, it is one of the most addicting games on the switch.

Indie games are a perfect fit for the Switch, and on that regard The Binding of Isaac is one of the best examples of that.

It's an old game but a fun one for sure. Made for fans of the original Zelda series and some goofy, splatter gore action.

While it's not as hard as most rogue-likes, Binding of Isaac can be challenging. It becomes easier as you learn what the items do, and any munchkin will love trying to find items for the perfect build. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't, but it's always fun trying to make your character as overpowered as possible.

Basically a top down shooter with an insane amount of difficulty and content. Keep in mind the type of art direction this game takes. It can be pretty grotesque and has religious references. If that bothers you don't get it, it's definitely not for kids. I bought it because I enjoy the gameplay.

I heard much about BoI but never really gave it much of a chance. After purchasing it on the Switch, I understand why. The addictive random elements of the game make every run unique and fun. The portability on the switch makes it an even better deal. I can easily see how some people have spent more than 100+ hrs on the game.

I've bought this on Steam twice (original and Rebirth), the 3DS, and Switch. I've been playing this game for over a hundred hours. Every single run is unique and I always have something to challenge myself with. It's definitely worth the price. Plus the ability to go anywhere and the instant co-op makes it an instant buy.

I was on the fence about purchasing this game (mainly because of the permadeath) but picked it up and very glad I did. The Binding of Isaac is like nothing I've ever played. It pays great homage to the original Legend of Zelda which is awesome but it's unique in the sense that the dungeons are randomly generated every time you start a new game which makes the replay value of this game very high! Definitely recommend if you're even remotely interested in trying it.

I played this game so many times on the PC and always felt that it would be perfect for playing on the go. The Switch makes that possible and it's great. I takes a little getting used to as far as the differences between keyboard and the controls on the Switch, but once you get it down you'll be hooked.

Loved the Zelda style booklet. I'd previously played the game on other systems, but I think the switch port is brilliant for quick games on the go. If you're not into games that are difficult and have a higher learning curve, this might not be the title for you. I recommend researching further.

A masterpiece of an indie game. Countless hours of gameplay, endless combinations of enemies, items, rooms. Every run is something new for you. You can't possibly go wrong buying this. The switch version is an excellent version of the game. Great FPS, and portable works perfectly.

If you're already a fan, this is an easy purchase for the Switch. And if the game clicks with you, it has enough content to keep you playing for hundreds of hours. I've never really loved the feel of the controls in this game, but its definitely a worthy addition to your library if you have any interest in the genre.

I used to play this when it first came out on PC. It has been ported beautifully to console and is truly perfect on the Switch because it looks great whether on the TV or on the handheld. The controls are very fluid, and for the price you are getting a ton of gameplay. My only complaint would be I have to play with my phone next to me with an item guide pulled up, because if there is an item I'm unfamiliar with I have to look up what it does. I have ruined some real good runs by picking items up without checking the effects first. And there are a ton of items, so constantly looking up item effects is time consuming and takes away from the experience somewhat.

This release has a reversible cover, stickers, and an NES style color manual. Binding of Isaac is a twin stick shooter mixed with top down legend of zelda. It is a mature game which I didn't know until I bought it. It is pretty fun if you have never played it. Pick it up.

This one of the top 5 or so games available for the Switch. It's a Rogue like, in which you play a "run" and then die, and have to start over from the start. It plays like a twin stick shooter and has mature themes. I enjoyed it, it's a good game to cleanse the pallet after a long Zelda or Mario Kart session.

I loved this game all the way when it first came out and I love it now. To have it in physical form and on the switch so I can play it wherever I want is just a dream come true. Its a fun dungeon crawler that has unlimited re play. Buy this game if you love that idea.
