Found this item while shopping for a laptop for Christmas! Couldn’t be happier, the price was right and found another affordable Christmas gift!

It was pretty good. The first one was great. Wound like to see a third one.

Just like the first, this was a great movie. Just goes to show you what a movie can accomplish with a great script and actor. A true classic in the making that will be rewatched for years to come.

“The Equalizer2” expands several contradictory personal attributes of Robert McCall. These attributes include compassion, criminal investigative skills, violence, and especially, his merciless judgement of those that he knows personally. This makes McCall a more complex and intriguing character. Particularly chilling, is McCall’s eerily placid rejection of several antagonists who murder his friend and colleague. McCall considers such an act to be the ultimate form of betrayal, and therefore, absolutely unforgivable. Also interesting, in the comments feature, you learn that Mr. Fuqua enlisted SEAL and the SAS veterans as hand-to-hand trainers, to ensure Mr. Washington’s hand-to-hand skills are those actually implemented by special forces units today.

Part 2 does not disappoint great action , great story line in context of character. I love how he cares for different people regardless of race . It how we need to be in society . Injustice is injustice regardless of race and I could only wish in real life we had someone to fight for that. So the point of going to movie from beginning of movies is to escape for a moment from our own world when we go to movie. When we do it nice finding a character that has a bit of super hero in him. So glad he did this sequel and wouldn't mind one more .Denzel makes a great action hero and right now having a black role model in the movies is great. Totally enjoyed the movie. Thanks Denzel for bringing the character to life.

I LOVE this!! It’s a GREAT movie with lots of action but also contains some heartwarming moments. Denzel Washington’s character is a force to be reckoned with, but he’s got a sweet, personable, moral side which I found endearing. There’re a lot of plot twists, and I was glued to the screen the entire time. One of my favorite movies, for sure! I got this item quickly and in great condition! Great purchase! Great franchise for Denzel Washington, which makes me wonder about seeing a Robert McCall joins John Wick for a Common Cause? That could be something!

Denzel Washington returns in kick-butt action hero mode as retired secret agent Robert McCall in this second installment of 2014's surprise hit "The Equalizer", which retro-fitted a cult TV show from the mid 1980s into one of those super-charged action vehicles aging A-list film stars seem irresistibly attracted to (right, Liam Neeson? Tom Cruise?) This time around, McCall is out to avenge the assassination of a cherished colleague and must match wits and moves with an elite group of mercenaries who, of course, under estimate his unique skill set. The action is gratuitously violent but well-staged by director Antoine Fuqua, who knows how to make his leading man seem especially lethal even when he's standing still, counting seconds in his head.

This was a great movie, Denzel of course is a great actor and the writers are fantastic. The action is non-stop, it was a great follow up from the first movie.

Denzel Washington is back in a rare sequel because he's never done one in his career, and for him to do one for this character, it says a lot. For fans of the first film, you're getting the same kind of action that the first movie delivered with just a small tidbit of Robert McCall's background. One of the best features that comes with this blu-ray is the Retribution mode with Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua as they provide commentary of the film. My only real complaint about the sequel is that it does take a while to get going. The subplots are what make this movie longer than it needs to be. Again, if you enjoyed the first film, you'll love the second one. I'm crossing my fingers for a possible third film.

great movie.denzel Washington is awesome in all three movies.I have equalizer one and two.Will be buying equalizer 3 at Bestbuy this week.

We all know DW can act the part of tough guy, well this movie is no exception. Another actor in this was from Lord Of The Rings, played one of the elves, then you have hit girl too, very cool. The quality of the 4K is better than most, sound is amazing, they had a lot of mic layout, when in the Home Depot like store, you can hear it as if you were there, the shots fired sound legit too. Really one of my favorites. Get this if you don't have it. One of my go to movies for showing off Atmos.

This movie can be dismissed as a formula good guy vs. bad guy film. However, because Denzel Washington is cast as McCall... it is super!!! The difference between this one and the first one is....the baddies are closer to McCall and much more deadly!!! But just seeing Washington smoothly and calmly "take care of bidness" is worth the movie's price. He is a super hero in his own right!!

Some move sequels or follow ups aren't great, not in this case. Won't spoil it for you but it's as goog as the first. The woman he goes to for advice in Equalizer 1, who isn't with the "agency" or has Much pull,is murdered. He goes after the killers. Same great well honed tactics. Splendid acting as a continuance but not an employee working vigilante. Great ending that ties his past wife issues. Action, Drama, tough & advisive as before. Great movie!

This movie was so good. The 4k looks awesome, has allot of action, suspense, twist, and turns. (But not to many as if the writers were overdoing it.) Denzel Washington is a great actor. Has allot of moments that make you chuckle. I wrote this review without telling any specific details about the movie intentionally. If I tell you about things in the movie, when you watch it, it's ruined. Rather you know my opinion of the movie, but not have me tell you the movie. #ENJOY!!!

While you got bits and pieces about McCall in the first Equalizer movie, this sequel provides additional background information and character development, but still leaves some questions for a subsequent movie. Denzel is at his best again as the action hero and penultimate assassin (with all due respect to John Wick) who is out to help others. More realistic than the John Wick body count movies (and I like them too), the action is good and intense.

I love the way Washington brings this character to life. I see him as this bond type character with humor. The action is great and probably not meant for the little ones. A good movie in general and a great way to spend a night. I have to reiterate this though- A----n had this movie more expensive than Best Buy. I am noticing this more and more and keep looking to Best Buy for better pricing.

Our ex-CIA operative McCall (Denzel Washington) is at it again in this sequel to our first introduction to this crusader of justice for the little guy (and gal). This time we find out more info about him and find him on a quest to avenge someone he cares deeply about. No spoiler alert here, just climb on board and take a ride with him to solve the injustice that has touched his life.

Okay, off the top I am a DW fan, big time! Despite that, I had low expectations for the sequel to be anything but decent or less. Outstanding performance by Denzel and the cast. The Director and Producers could not have done a better job! My finale of this review, simply, this movie is a masterpiece and should be in your collection. I leave you, the best of myself?

This film has been one of the best sequels of any movie that I have seen in a long time. I’ve enjoyed this movie from the beginning to the end. I have been a fan of Denzel Washington from the beginning of his career, but there are other reasons why I love this movie so much. The plot and the direction of life situations makes this one of my all time favorite movies.
